Wonderful Misunderstanding
1. She was called Shaelyn by the previous translator, i decided to maintain the Chinese name, not sure if it’s really this one. If it’s wrong let me know and i’ll change it.
2. Same thing, Lamont is originally Ling Mo (i think).
3. Tiān jī means Space-based.
4. 天基 (Tiān jī) sounds like 田鸡 (Tiánjī), therefore, frog.
5. Not sure the exact translation because it got cut in the middle, the original is ” 我听你忽…… “
6. Don’t know if it means there’s restrictions where it shouldn’t be or the opposite, the original says ” 其中的各种游戏规则十分复杂，该有限制的地方一点限制都不会少，想要完全了解还得下一番功夫。但要是理解得通透，这个游戏的规则也有不少可以让玩家利用的。”
7. Same as 6, but this one directly translates to the injured player losing the points, not the attacking one. ” 比如友伤判定，就分为许多种情况——首先根据主观意识分为主动伤人和被动防御两大类，前者比较好理解，就是没事找茬见人就打，这种的惩罚也是最严重的的，系统会根据造成伤害来扣除伤人玩家的副本收益，如果直接性致玩家死亡的，还会有红名机制。”
8. The MTL completely butchered the original meaning, so i had to almost rewrite the last chunk to what i understood. ” 红名玩家可以按照被动防御的范围进行防卫，但继续杀玩家，就会按照一个玩家三次副本红名惩罚叠加，而且收益也将降为零。”
EDIT: Not sure if “friendly injuries” is the right translation, in the future i may change it to “injury” only.
Phew, finally finished it. Hello readers! I’m a new translator (or proofreader if you think about it) that someday looked at his own novel library and thought:
‘damn, i wish this/that novel didn’t get on hiatus/dropped, it looked interesting. If no one is gonna translate it, why not myself?’
And there you have it (lol). I’m by no means qualified to translate stuff, not only i need MTL to read raws, i’m not even a native English speaker. Still, i wanted to try this as a hobby and share it to fellow novel lovers, i hope that it was readable and you had fun.
About the schedule release, i can’t promise anything, i’m a student and have two part-time jobs to help pay stuff at home, so i’m going to translate this novel as i feel like it.
