SFX: RUMBLE

“It’s here…!”

There was movement in the dragon’s corpse that had been under observation.

Or more precisely, a large change related to the entire dragon graveyard.

It shook the surrounding forest and the entire area.

“All right! Let’s do this!”

Milim stood up and glared at the dragon’s corpse, then turned around and called out to me.

“Do you remember it properly?”

Milim was referring to the skills, 『Black Fog』 and 『Night King』, especially the usage of 『Black Fog』. It was a unique skill that was difficult to handle.

It was difficult to master it through feeling alone, as it was capable of many things. I was grateful to be taught each one.

“Did you manage to learn atomization?”

“I did well.”

The priority of this attack and defense was not to die and to also prevent the dragon zombie from reaching the city.

I had been receiving lessons on how to use these unique skills accordingly.

Among them, the acquisition of 『Atomization』, which uses 『Black Fog』 as the most user-friendly defense skill, was a great achievement.

To literally disperse one’s body like mist and nullify physical attacks for a certain period of time, it was a skill that was beyond a cheat as far as I was concerned, and yet it was only a part of my ability… Unique skills were terrifying.

“Thirty minutes. Try to distract it and don’t die.”

“I understand!”

I tightened my body.

The dragon zombie, and one of the largest opponents I’ve ever seen. On the other hand, there were only two of us.

There was no need to defeat it head-on, but if it progressed to the city, it would mean losing.

Thirty minutes was more than enough time for the monster that was about to be born to destroy the city.

“It’s coming!”

Milim shouted, and the change happened immediately.

The dragon’s corpse was wrapped in purple light, and an enormous magical power began to swirl around.

And then…

“Gruaaaaaaa!”

A thunderous roar shook the surrounding scenery, along with my body.

It was a powerful existence that could shake the trees around with just a roar.

Although my body was shaking from the roar, the tremors didn’t stop even after the roar subsided.

“This is… the dragon zombie…!”

As Milim had guessed, a monster with a terrifying appearance that seemed to use its remaining bones as a vessel had appeared.

Of course, not all of the bones were complete. As a result of forcibly supplementing the missing parts with magical power and miasma, the gray and murky purple, ulcerated body was intertwined with exposed bones, creating a monstrous creature.

Due to its terrifying appearance, my body trembled…
