CH 66

Chapter 66

“So, what are we going to do with all these gold?”

The amount of money stored in the Twilight Coffin was too much for just the two adventurers to handle.

“It’s not something we need to worry about, is it?”

“Well, that’s true, but…”

“Right now, we may only use it individually, but it’s a sum that can move people, so eventually, we will need it.”

“I don’t think there will ever be a time where I need to move people though…”

‘What the hell am I supposed to do with this gold?’

“We could use it to help restore your country.” I told Milim.

“What?! N-no way, I don’t need that!”

Milim panicked.

“Is there anything else you want, like to meet your parents?”

“I do want to meet them, but it’s not a high priority. There’s more than enough time for that even if you die.”

“I see…”

The perspective on this matter is different for an immortal vampire and a mere human.

“When I die, would you be willing to take this gold, Milim?”

“Let’s make sure you use it all up before you die.”

“That’s…quite difficult.”

It was quite challenging to use it all up. Building a mansion in the capital would use it up instantly, but they have no connection to the capital.

“Since you have the money, why don’t you start by getting equipment for a necromancer?”

“Is there equipment specifically for necromancers?”

“More precisely, equipment for dark magic.”

Equipment for dark magic…there are so many things to consider.

“That ring you have, I’ve been curious about it. It probably has a different use.”

“Really?”

“Most likely, there’s equipment specifically for necromancers that uses that ring. Right now, we should focus on how to make do with the equipment we can afford.”

The 『Yomi Ring』. It was supposed to make familiars visible or invisible, but there should be more to it.

“It should have the power of a divine tool, so it’s not just that. Well, I don’t really know yet. You don’t know either, Milim?”

“I don’t know everything. I could even say I don’t know anything about the current world.”

“That’s true…”

She’s been staying in her room all this time.

“Are you okay with your equipment, Milim?”

“I won’t be able to get better equipment without going to a dungeon.”

“A dungeon, huh…”

Thinking of the fateful branching point where they last went, the name of that place was mentioned by Milim.

“Isn’t there a god-slaying dungeon nearby?”

The name even made her feel nostalgic.
