If Lena had known that Romeo was going to be so stubborn about her not going anywhere, she would have approached the situation quite differently. For one, she would have assigned something to do elsewhere.

She knew how he felt, but it wasn't to make the princess want to stay where she @was and do nothing.

"I understand exactly how you feel, but you should know that isn't enough for me to not do what I need to do." The princess told the other.

She wasn't one to pick a fight with any of the men who worked for her family, but this was the situation she would do it in if she needed to.

"I understand that completely, Princess and I hope you know equally that that's exactly why I can't allow for you to leave here."

Lena let out a mixture of a huff and sigh in response to what the other said. There was no way that he would listen to her so long as he had Zane's orders to follow.

"I think it would be best if you both just took a step back for the time being and didn't try to do anything until we know exactly what is going on?" Samuel suggested again.

It was about the best that he could do in the current situation without fully knowing what was going on.

"Princess, you know that I'm not going to move from this door any time soon so long as we don't know what's going on. I think it would be best if you waited elsewhere for an update." Romeo told the princess firmly who scoffed at him.

"I know that you think that and you're going to try and keep telling me that so long as things remain the way they are. That isn't likely to stop me much however from what I want to do. If anything, I think it would be better if you moved away from the door." Lena cautioned despite knowing that the other was highly unlikely to take her suggestion and move from his current position.

Samuel could sense the change in energy from the standoff that was going on between the other two. He could by the direction that things were going that there would be a fight soon if he didn't figure out what to do.

Jovani had told him that it would be to him to figure out exactly how to deal with the situation. What exactly was he supposed to do though? That was something he was going to have to figure.

"I know how hard it is for you right now, hut that's exactly why you need to stay here. If there's any reason that we might need another leader, you would be the person to fill that role." That was the last thing that the princess was ready to do however.

She would be taking over for her father, just not for another few years until she got more accomplished sms pieces she wanted taken care if.

"Romeo, I'm not going to reason with you over this matter again. I need you to move before matters become even more serious than they already are." She warned as she took a step towards the door even though the guard didn't budge an inch.

"If you're going to insist upon this princess, wouldn't it be better to deal with this situation someplace away from here so as to avoid ruining anything." Romeo suggested.

He knew mentally exactly where the princess was. He had grown up with her which made it all the easier for him to read her when she was in this kind of mood.

"Where would you suggest then?" She knew exactly what the other was trying to do but for the time belong, she was fine with doing what he thought would be best. It was something that she could work with.

"The room opposite to the sun room. I believe that it is still fairly empty at this point in time. it might work best since going outside isn't much of an option."

The princess was about to agree to this until Samuel stepped into the situation and handled things in a different manner.

He could only imagine how upset the princess was going to be with him, but it was all he could think to do at the current moment in time.

Before they could finalize the situation, Samuel grabbed Lena's arm and spun her around to face him. She unexpected action caught her off guard to the point that she almost lashed out at the other until she realized who it was.

The didn't get a chance to say anything before the other leaned forward and kissed her rather roughly. Lena again wasn't expecting this.

This made it all the easier for Samuel to take over the kiss and begin to explore the other's mouth as he pulled her closer against himself

He hoped that it would be enough to distract the other from what she had been wanting to do.

Lena didn't respond to his kiss like she normally would have, but she didn't pull away from him either. She was rather stunned on what to do since other people were watching what was taking place.

She did end up breaking the kiss when she needed air. Samuel didn't let her go however as he kept his arms wrapped tightly around her.

He even kissed her a second time to stop her before she had a chance to get upset at him over what he did.

The second time they kissed, Lena did respond to it but it was rougher than what her fiance was expecting from her.

Even if he wasn't thrilled about doing it around so many people, it seemed that it was his best bet to distract the other from what she wanted to do.

Samuel could tell how deep loyalty ran in Lena's family which was exactly why he wanted to do what he could to break things up before a fight ended up happening before the princess and Romeo.

He didn't want something to happen that they would regret later.
