Chapter 210 - 210 You're Still Too Weak

210 You’re Still Too Weak

Xia’er glared furiously at Shen Fei, his hands clenched tightly into fists.

“Shen Fei, clearly you can deal with these vines easily. Why did you say that it would crush us?”

Shen Fei smiled and said, “No, I meant you guys. I’m not included. As a teacher, I naturally hope that you can use your own strength to deal with these vines.”

“You…!” Hearing this, Xia’er almost exploded. He thought that Shen Fei was too shrewd.

Then, he stared at Shen Fei with a cold gaze. “Hmph, stop putting on an act. Since you’re not willing to help, I’ll do it myself.”

“Hehe, are you sure you can do it?” Shen Fei gave a small smile as he looked at Xia’er. He shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly. “Then, you can try these vines first.”

Whoosh!

Xia’er strode forward, stepping into the air. He stretched out his right hand and made a grabbing motion. Immediately, trees were uprooted and flew to him. Light patterns flickered on the trees, forming sharp leaves.

“Hmph, a mere forest can’t do anything to me.” Xia’er sneered.

When the trees came, he reached out with his left hand. Scales appeared on his arms like huge pincers. This was called an Iron Arm.

His five fingers were bent like claws made of iron and steel, and he used them to grab the trees. When the iron claws came down, they latched on like a steel clamp. The trees were uprooted and crushed. Eventually, the trees were all destroyed.

After destroying the trees, Xia’er continued to move onward. However, the plants came again and blocked his way.

“Get lost!”

Xia’er’s expression became ferocious. His aura soared as he circulated his Qi. His palm was like an iron pincer, ruthlessly smashing the trees away. Then, he waved his hand and created a strong wind to blow away the trees.

Unfortunately, some leaves flew past and cut his robe, leaving a few scars. This made Xia’er grit his teeth.

“These plants are too strange. How can they be so difficult to deal with?”

Obviously, Xia’er was no match for the vines. Seeing this, Shen Fei smiled exasperatedly.

“You’re still too weak,” he muttered to himself, then he leaped toward the vines.

In the next second, Shen Fei appeared in front of a tree. He reached out with both hands and injected a vast amount of life essence into the vine. Immediately, these vines seemed to be nourished and became even more lush. The crown of the tree even stretched out like an umbrella.

“What is this kid doing?” Seeing this, Li Yuan was surprised.

It was also at this moment that the tree exploded from the monstrous aura. Seeing this, Xia’er trembled.

“He’s overloading the trees!”

Under such circumstances, if he went near the trees, it would be suicidal. Xia’er immediately retreated. But he was still a bit too slow and was hit by a vine.

His chest had caved in from the blow as the wind left his lungs.

“You!” Xia’er’s face was dark. His eyes were cold as he stared at the young man with the longbow on his back. He wanted to rush forward and tear him apart.

Seeing this, Shen Fei shrugged and said, “I’ve said it before: You can’t fight against these vines.”

Xia’er took a deep breath and tried to calm his anger. He knew that it was not a good time to get tangled up with Shen Fei. “Wow, bravo…”

Shen Fei scanned the surroundings and said, “Let’s go. We have to meet up with Yang Xiaoxuan and the others.”

Everyone left the area and soon found Yang Xiaoxuan’s group… in a stalemate with some plants.

“Shen Fei, why are you guys only here now?”

Shen Fei said, “This place is full of dangers. I ran into some trouble earlier.”

“Oh?” Hearing this, everyone frowned. “Are you all okay?”

“We’re fine.” Shen Fei waved his hand.

Then, Yang Xiaoxuan’s eyes narrowed as she shouted at Shen Fei and the others, “You guys should leave quickly. That spirit beast is chasing us again.”

At this moment, ripples appeared in the distance, and a terrifying fluctuation spread out. The fluctuation was filled with corrosion, making everyone feel anxious to leave. There was even an aura of death that permeated the air.

Just this aura alone made Yang Xiaoxuan and the others pale. They could not help but shiver, wishing only to escape.

After seeing this scene, Shen Fei immediately pulled Yang Xiaoxuan and the others away. “Let’s go,” he said.

Everyone was terrified.

“What the hell are those things?”

“Is it a strange bird with limbs comparable to divine weapons?”

Vines were a means of attack by this strange bird, making it impossible to defend against. Now that it had appeared again, who would not be afraid?

Even with Shen Fei around, many students were still panicking. Only Yang Xiaoxuan did not choose to flee… She seemed to have recalled something from the past.

Not long after Shen Fei and his group left, a few eagle-like creatures appeared within the forest.

These creatures were flaming red. They flapped their wings and cried out, sending out waves of heat. The scorching flames swept out in fiery waves, which could suffocate a low-level cultivator.

A cry rang out, and instantly, a group of at least a hundred of these flaming eagles swooped down on the humans. Their feathers were like swords, glinting coldly, and sharp enough to slice through human flesh.

Many students were sent flying.

“D*mned birds!”

Many of the students became angry from embarrassment. However, the strange birds were quite powerful, and the students were helpless against them. In fact, many of them were soon engulfed in flames and burned alive.

In such an environment, it was simply impossible to resist.

“Shen Fei, quickly, help me kill all these birds!” Seeing this, Xia’er became extremely anxious.

Shen Fei grinned and said, “Don’t worry, I’ve lured them all here. Leave the rest to me.” Then, he summoned his Flame Owl.

“Flame Owl, Blazing Charge!”

When the Flame Owl landed on the ground, Shen Fei made a hand gesture and a light entered the Flame Owl’s body.

Immediately, the Flame Owl flapped its wings and released scorching flames. It soared into the sky, and its voice was like a thunderclap that could hurt one’s eardrums.

Then, a red light flickered above the Flame Owl’s head, turning into two huge fireballs. The fireballs fell and smashed down on the area. The strange birds wailed from the onslaught.

Eventually, the Flame Owl turned into a ball of blazing fire in a flash and burned the strange birds to death.

“It actually annihilated so many of those birds in one move?” The students’ eyes widened. At this moment, they were filled with respect for Shen Fei.

The flames dissipated, and a wide path appeared before them. The road was straight and led to the depths of the mountain range. This path also led to some ancient ruins.

Looking at the road ahead, Yang Xiaoxuan thought to herself, ‘This young man is indeed extraordinary.’

Shen Fei’s moves earlier were as smooth as a flowing stream, eliciting sighs of admiration.

“Everyone, go in first. I’ll deal with those vines.”
