However, the strongest ones in Shan Gu were the two Overlord-rank red-striped tigers and black-winged griffins.

“Shen Fei! How dare you leave me alone!” Xia’er cried angrily as he chased after him.

Shen Fei shook his head and sighed. “Forget it. Xia’er won’t be of much help anyway. It’s better to let him go alone.”

Shen Fei did not care about Xia’er and walked on alone.

“Eh? What’s that?” Suddenly, Shen Fei stopped in his tracks and stared at a lake not far away in surprise. There was a Silver-scaled Snake King resting on the shore.

“This is the Silver-scaled Snake King. It’s a high-level exotic beast with formidable combat strength! ” Shen Fei said to himself.

“Hiss!” The Silver-scaled Snake King seemed to have sensed Shen Fei’s existence. It immediately noticed Shen Fei’s presence and hissed angrily.

“Hah! It actually took the initiative to attack. It’s indeed a courageous exotic beast!” Shen Fei laughed mockingly.

He then brandished his sharp sword and dashed forward, heading straight for the Silver-scaled Snake King. As he ran, he summoned several phantom swords around him.

In the blink of an eye, Shen Fei and the Silver-scaled Snake King were engaged in a fierce battle. After a fierce clash, Shen Fei gained the upper hand and killed the Silver-scaled Snake King.

Right after it died, a cry for help came from somewhere ahead.

“Help!!”

It was Xia’er’s voice. Shen Fei frowned at this. Then, he quickly rushed in the direction of the cry.

Xia’er was flanked in by a python and a giant wolf.

“B*stards! Get lost!” Shen Fei shouted. His legs stomped on the ground, and he flew up. With his sword, he hacked at the python’s neck, killing it at once. Shen Fei followed that attack with a kick aimed at the giant wolf.

Xia’er’s body was covered in wounds and he was bleeding. He looked miserable.

“B*stard, it’s all your fault. If it weren’t for you, I would have lured the exotic beasts away long ago,” Xia’er said angrily as he glared at Shen Fei.

“Shut up! Do you think all exotic beasts are as stupid as you?” Shen Fei reprimanded.

Shen Fei suddenly felt two powerful auras. “Damn it! Two more exotic beasts had arrived! Run!”

He quickly pulled Xia’er and ran, saying, “I don’t want to die with you!”

Although Xia’was conceited, he was not arrogant enough to think that he could defeat a high-grade Emperor-rank exotic beast alone.

“Shen Fei, you’d leave me to die in a ditch! Let go of me and let me go back to killing those beasts!” Xia’er struggled stubbornly.
