442 Lear’s Anger Cannot Rest
As the spear shards bounced back, the Thorny Rat Sniper also launched a second round of attacks to bolster the ricocheted spear shards. It flapped its wings and turned them into two black wind blades that flew toward Shen Fei.
Shen Fei was on his guard when he saw this. He activated his true essence and condensed a defensive shield. As the shards collided with the shield, a muffled sound was heard. Cracks then appeared on the shield.
Seeing this, Lear frowned and ordered again, “Thorny Rat Sniper, hurry up and defeat his stupid bird!”
The Thorny Rat Sniper sped up and turned into a black blur again, speeding toward Shen Fei and the Flame Owl. Shen Fei’s expression turned cold, and he did not dare hold back any more.
“Burning Heavenly Palm Strike!” Shen Fei opened his palm slightly, his five fingers closed together, and he suddenly thrust them out. A huge pillar of fire shot out from his fingers at the Thorny Rat Sniper.
The Thorny Rat Sniper did not care about the oncoming pillar of fire. It simply flapped its wings and left the line of fire quickly.
Suddenly, an extremely overbearing wave of air burst out from Lear’s palm, dispersing the fire pillar. The moment the flames were dispersed, the pillar of fire fell to the ground and exploded.
‘What terrifying power! If that attack had hit me, I would definitely have been seriously injured!’ Shen Fei’s heart raced.
In the next moment, a black ray of light shot past Shen Fei’s face. it had almost pierced his forehead. ‘That was close! Who knows what kind of brain damage I would have suffered if it had hit me!’

Shen Fei stretched out his hand and gently stroked the Flame Owl’s head. “I’m fine. Just focus on the enemy.”
At this moment, Aloy and the other two woke up. When they saw what was happening around them, the three of them frowned simultaneously.
“Shen Fei!” Aloy called out, and they all walked to Shen Fei’s side. Aloy’s clothes were stained red with blood, and her cheeks were swollen. She asked worriedly, “Are you alright?”
Shen Fei shook his head slightly. “I’m fine. It’s safer for you guys to leave this area first.”
Shen Fei did not want Aloy and the others to be involved in this.
Upon hearing his words, Aloy also understood that Shen Fei wanted them to retreat first. She stubbornly said, “We’re not leaving. We want to help you.”
Shen Fei’s heart warmed and he revealed a faint smile. “You don’t have to worry about me. I’ll be fine!”
Although Shen Fei’s smile was not as wide as usual, it gave Aloy and the others a great sense of security.
However, the Thorny Rat Sniper suddenly loomed over them.
“Brat, not only will I kill you today, I will also exterminate all the ants around you! Except for Aloy, of course, because she’s mine.” Lear glared at Shen Fei, and his eyes filled with greed when his gaze traveled to Aloy.
“Ants? Heh, I think you’re the bug!” Shen Fei mocked.
His words infuriated Lear. “You’re courting death! I want you to live a life worse than death!” Lear shouted angrily once more and lunged at Shen Fei.
Just as Lear’s figure was less than ten meters away from him, Shen Fei’s pupils suddenly contracted. A terrifying suction force then formed under his feet. This suction force caused Shen Fei’s body to stay rooted to his spot.
Shen Fei turned pale with fright. He was fast, but if he could not dodge freely, he was doomed for sure.
Shen Fei was not the only one being affected by the suction force; Qian Yu and Luo were also affected.
The corners of Lear’s mouth curled up into an evil smirk when he noticed this. “Looks like you won’t be able to escape this time. I will refine you into my puppets and make you live in hell forever!”
He smiled cruelly at them.
Shen Fei’s pupils constricted when he heard Lear’s words, and his eyes were filled with anger. Shen Fei’s body immediately produced a strong rejection to counteract the suction force.
Bang!
As Shen Fei’s body struggled, a muffled sound was heard. His skin turned red as if he was being cooked.
Lear laughed out loud at this. “Your bodies are really weak. Your flesh got burned so easily. This really is a walk in the park for me!”
With that, Lear attacked again, clenching his fist.
Crack!
There was an audible sound of bones breaking. Everyone present heard it loud and clear.
“No!” Seeing this, Aloy screamed.
Bang! Crack!
Another series of bone-cracking sounds could be heard. Shen Fei’s right wrist, shoulder, and thigh were all fractured. His face twisted from the intense pain, and the hatred in his eyes grew stronger than ever.
Still, he gritted his teeth and persevered.
“Shen Fei, don’t hide your strength anymore, I beg you! Don’t let me see you suffer for me again!” Aloy cried.
“It’s okay. Trust me. I’ll recover soon,” Shen Fei said through gritted teeth. Hearing this, Aloy’s heart was filled with even more worry.
Shen Fei suddenly opened his eyes, and a bright light shot out from them. Under Shen Fei’s control, his broken bones mended quickly.
“How is this possible? Your bones are actually… healing?! What martial technique is this? How can it be so strong?”
Seeing that the broken bones on Shen Fei’s body were recovering rapidly, Lear and the others gaped at him.
However, Lear quickly schooled his features. “Hmph, let’s see how long you can last!” he sneered.
Immediately, Lear’s target changed again, and he locked onto Qian Yu and Luo Ying. Seeing this, the two seniors’ faces became filled with fear.
“I advise you to surrender obediently. Perhaps I’ll let you off if I’m in a good mood,” Lear said darkly.
Hearing this, Qian Yu and Luo Ying could not help but reveal bitter expressions.
“You… What are you planning?” Aloy asked in panic.
“I plan to kill these two bugs, of course! You have no right to defy me, because you are going to die here!” As soon as he finished speaking, Lear charged at Qian Yu and Luo Ying.
Shen Fei was angered by this. “No, I have to save them!”
