CH 175

It was as I expected that the imitation pizza bread and French toast were very popular, so I’m not surprised at all. Mayonnaise was also introduced for the first time, but I thought that not many people would dislike it. There are many people on earth who like mayonnaise. Of course, there are people who don’t like it, but I think they’re in the minority.

What surprised me was the miso. Eating vegetable sticks with miso was unexpectedly popular. I thought there would be more likes and dislikes for miso, but everyone here seems to be fine. Miso soup was also okay, so miso may be unexpectedly accepted here.

The goodness of white rice is still not getting through to them. Mikoto and I were the only ones eating white rice, and no one else was eating it. Is it all about the environment you grew up in? If you haven’t eaten it since you were a child, you may not want to eat white rice.

I wonder if it’s still easy for everyone to eat if it’s like paella or pilaf. It might be a good idea to try something like that next time. Or how about using rice as part of a salad? It may be easier to eat if you stop cooking like Japanese methods and use a different style. Well, I don’t think I’ll go that far to feed it to them, but…

It was a dish that suddenly started because there was no dinner, but the meal ended while it was well received except for white rice.
