CH 53.1

Ye Yuqing snickered all the way.

But, she had tried very hard to control herself, trying not to laugh out loud.

Li Che looked at her out of the corner of the eye, and the curve of his mouth softened unconsciously.

This woman was usually quite timid, but from time to time, she could do things that he didn’t expect.

There were traps and surprises everywhere.

“What are you thinking about?”

“Nothing, what is there?” Ye Yuqing said lightly.

Li Che: “…Rascal.”

Ye Yuqing gently coughed while choking back a smile that appeared at the corner of her mouth.

It doesn’t matter,  I’ll let you scold me.

Just think about how tall he was. She just pushed him down and he couldn’t move.

It was a little embarrassing, but…it was actually pretty cool.

Li Che was quite pure, and he used to say that he had a hundred girlfriends.

It was strange.

It seemed like elementary school behaviour.

Ye Yuqing was worried that Li Che would be hesitant again, so she simply kissed and made up his mind.

With insurance, one couldn’t escape easily.

Between the traffic lights, she gave him a side glance, “I’m so happy today.”

Li Che appeared a little helpless, but the corners of his mouth softened.

They held hands, intertwined their fingers, and separated after a few seconds.

Li Che reminded her. “Don’t look at me, look at the car in front, you will distract me.”

“Oh, then I’ll help you watch the car’s condition. We’re going to live a hundred years.”

The car stopped on the side of the road.

Ye Yuqing was a little hesitant. Li Che’s umbrella was all on her side just now, so his shoulders were all wet, so she might as well deal with it before leaving.

It was still flu season.

“Come to my house, sit down, and have a hot drink.”

Li Che looked at her, hesitated for two seconds, and finally gave in. “Alright.”

Ye Yuqing entered the door, found an unused towel, and handed it to him.

“I’m afraid you will catch a cold, so you should go take a shower.”

He was entirely wet, so his condition was much more serious.

Li Che took the towel and walked into the bathroom.

The bathroom was not big, and things were placed in an orderly manner.

Outside was the washbasin, and the shower area was hung with a layer of soft curtains as a partition.

The moment the hot water rushed down, he breathed a sigh of relief.

After being abandoned by a loved one several times, no matter who it was, there would be a conditioned reflex to doubt whether he was worthy of being loved and cherished.

Because of wanting to be sure and wanting more to question each other, they eventually drifted away.

Like his senior.

Li Che closed his eyes.

He would try to restrain himself.

Ye Yuqing sat on the sofa and brought a hairdryer to help him dry his coat.

Listening to the sound of water inside, she suddenly thought of the scene she saw in the hot spring hotel that day.

Ten minutes later, Ye Yuqing threw the clothes, placed the hairdryer at an angle, and let it continue to work.

She walked gently to the bathroom door.

She couldn’t see anything through the door, she just wanted to hear the movement.

He has been bathing for half an hour. Why didn’t he come out? Did he slip and fainted in the bathroom?

Ye Yuqing squatted down, her ears close to the bathroom to hear what was going on inside.

Since there was fog on the glass, she couldn’t see him clearly, but she could still see the black outline from the inside.

Just as Li Che was about to turn off the water, he glanced at the silhouette against the door, and walked straight over.

Ye Yuqing was listening intently, but there was nothing except the sound of dripping water.

The door was suddenly pushed open, and she fell forward by inertia.

Li Che used his knees to hold back her head.

Her forehead was a little wet. Ye Yuqing looked up, and the next second, she sat on the ground and took two steps back.

Li Che asked blankly, “What do you want to do? Do you want to come in and bathe with me?”

He was wearing boxer shorts, but it wasn’t much better.

Ye Yuqing stood up from the ground. “I don’t! Hurry up! I was afraid you fainted inside.”

After speaking, she ran away, showing her back and dared not look at him again. Ye Yuqing picked up the hairdryer on the table and continued to dry his clothes.

Washing together or something…does he really think so?

But it’s going too fast!

Li Che chuckled lightly, and it seemed that she still didn’t have the courage to do so.

Ye Yuqing pricked up her ears to listen to the movement inside the bathroom while drying the clothes.

After knowing that the other party came out of the bathroom, she lingered for another two minutes before walking over with his clothes in her arms.

“Put it on, don’t catch a cold.” She dared not look into his eyes, and whispered, “I’ll make you ginger tea to avoid catching a cold.”

Putting the coat on the sofa, she turned around and went to the kitchen again.

Li Che’s eyes followed her back, his expression softened. He found it interesting to watch her shy behaviour.

Fifteen minutes later, Ye Yuqing came out with a small pot and filled a bowl for both of them.

“It might be a little hot, but ginger tea works better while it’s hot.”

Li Che had already put on his coat, and the moment Ye Yuqing sat down, he came over without warning.

Ye Yuqing was stunned, and leaned against the back of the sofa.

She was a little nervous and didn’t know what the other party was going to do.

Li Che put his hand on the sofa and wrapped her in his arms to prevent her from escaping.

Then he lowered his head and said, “I have a question for you.”

“What, what?” Ye Yuqing tilted her head.
