Chapter 258 - 258 - Attempted Burglary

Zou Yue tightly hugged the person close to him, trying his best to zone out the loud clicking sounds. But the sound was too insistent..

groaning he opened his eyes. The first thing he saw was his lover's face right in front of his.

He gently kissed his slightly opened mouth. "adorable."

"click.. click click click..."

"What is that sound?" he glanced back. The sound was definitely coming from outside.

Zou Yue sat up in the mattress and slowly opened the glass windows apart. Outside he saw a suspicious figure crouching down next to his room window. Another figure was standing on top of the roof, cutting the chicken wires he had placed on top of the solar sheets.

'Robbers!' he hurriedly searched Fan's room and came out with a few things he can throw. there was only a thermos nearby. Taking his aim, he tossed it right at the man who was on top of the roof with all his force.

"oomph."' The black-clothed figure stumbled back after being hit right on its face.

Yue threw open the door. "hey! Fucking assholes. Next time my knife will fly at you," he pointed his dagger at them.

The two men hurriedly rushed away.

He had no intentions of letting them go unscathed at all. He took the Smartphone and tossed it at the other man's head.

It hid him right on the target.

The man collapsed on the ground.

The other one who got hit with the thermos water bottle paused and glanced back. Without a second delay he started to run.

"You wait right there, you fucker. I will fucking smack your head," he shouted.

Suddenly a hand cupped his mouth and a huge lightning hid the man who was escaping.

The burglar twitched on the ground, unable to move.

"Is this a new kink now?" Yue licked the fingers covering his mouth.

"hmm...can't handle seeing you cuss out loud. It just feels wrong and sexy at the same time," Fan Xui mumbled, kissing the back of his neck.

Yue wiggled around, trying his best to escape his warm lips. "lest go see who was brazen enough to rob our house. Darn, that guy even cut into the wires. I need to get them fixed too..."

It was deep into the night. Only moonlight lit the surroundings.

"Where's the flashlight," he gently patted Fan's sleepy face.

"Right shelf... do we have to go out?"

"We have to check on them. What if they passed away? We have to destroy the evidence," Yue took the flashlight from the shelf. That's when he noticed the huge oven mittens on his hands. "aw, did you put it on me?"

"Hmm Hary came over. He almost touched your hand. I didn't want that to happen again. So had to put it on you,"

Yue looked at the oven mittens carefully. In order for it not to come off Fan had even placed two rubber bands and secured them tightly. "You're so cute."

Fan Xui sat up, wiping his eyes. "Wait I have something," he took out a black thing hand handed it to him. "It's not the best but I hope you like it,"

"What is it? a gift~" Yue excitedly took the cloth. It was actually a glove. It was stitched so well.

He pulled the oven mittens away and swiftly wore them. The fabric it was made from was slightly elastic and the glove fit his fingers so well.

He flexed his fingertips. "It's so good~ baby, did you make this for me?"

"yeah, struggled a bit in the beginning but I figured it out later on," he sheepishly smiled at him.

Yue threw himself into his arms and kissed his pouty lips. "Thank you. They are so lovely. And just what I wanted." He gently caressed his face. "Sad, I can't even touch your beautifully handsome face. Let's set up the plants soon. I want to touch you all I want,"

Fan Xui smirked widely and kissed his nose softly. "You can touch me all you want…" He mumbled softly.

"Tempting offer, but not now. Let's go check on the burglars first," Yue excitedly adjusted his glove on his wrist and ran out of the house with the flashlight.

The two men were nowhere to be seen.

"Where did they go? That guy was hit by your lightning he can't just up and walk away right?/" he searched around but no one was found.

Yue walked over to the front door. I was fully intact with no signs of break-in.

He proceeded to check the other windows.

Everything was in place. All he had to do was check the roof.

He did not want to climb up the roof and disturb his family's sleep time so he just decided to go back to Fan's warm bed and sleep off.

A dark figure watched all this from a hidden place close by.

"The boss said that guy will be in that old house. Did we get the wrong house? and fuck that pretty boy's strong." The scrawny glanced at the two corpses on the ground. They were just the local bandits they hired from the market side.

He wanted to make this kidnapping/break-in look very much like a robbery.

That was what boss's new lover told them to do.

"Let's go to our base first. We won't be able to do anything when they are awake." The two others will him left the corpses there and left to their new base.

Fan Xui who was right beside the door looked in the direction the three disappeared off to. "This was not a normal break-in."

"What?" Yue yawned loudly. "Why do you say so?"

"There were three others waiting to see how we would react. Those people were openly testing the waters."

Yue shrugged. "Well, we have to make the waters much more dangerous then." he glanced at the ceiling and at the ground. "Do you need such a big hall space?"

Fan Xui hugged him tight and gently kissed his pink cheeks. "You want to plant a tree in here?"

"Yeah, I was planning on keeping willow here. What if the pea plant and willow don't get along? It will be hard to take care of two mutated plants then..."

"Don't worry so much. If you want plant one of the other fruit tree here. Plant the willow in your house.. My house is empty most of the time so your house is the one which needs protection 24/7."
