Yue happily hugged Fan. He also made sure that their hands didn't touch..

"Can you hear perfectly well? Repeat what I'm saying "I love you," he said with his hands cupping Yue's eyes.

Yue chuckled. "I love you,"

"Ah I love you too!"' he pulled him onto his lap and gently kissed his lips.

"Um... you might want to..." Peng Peng awkwardly pointed to something.

"Sorry I got emotional," Yue whispered with a blush. "I know some are uncomfortable with PDA…."

"No not that... I meant that..." Peng ah pointed to something...

"What?" Yue questionably looked at him.

"Behind ... behind you.." even Qian was looking at him weirdly.

Yue glanced back. a huge stripped tail stood erect. "AH!" he screamed. "' what is this!" he grabbed it.

It was so freaking soft and fluffy. He subconsciously rubbed it against his face and softly moaned.

"What is he?" Peng Peng secretly whispered to Qian.

"Judging by the curved tip of the tail I reckon he is a lemur,"

"Oh I see, he looked adorable," Peng Peng whispered to him.

"Not as cute as you," Qian whispered back.

Peng Peng shyly slapped his shoulders.

Suddenly, Fan cleared his throat loudly. "Can I know what is going on? He had a tail..."

"It's my powers," Peng Peng shyly whispered. "I'm an animal morph I think..."

Yue stood up, ribbing the small circular ears on his head. "Fan look, I have fur ears!! It's so soft!!" he squealed. "Here touch it," he pulled Fan's hand to it.

Fan hesitantly touched it. But right after feeling the warm soft fur, he started to massage it with ease. "It's nice..."

Yue happily ran into the house, into the bathroom and stood in front of the mirror. his fur ears twitched excitedly and the tail behind him was stiff though. He grabbed it and caressed it from top to bottom. It gave a weird tingling sensation. He really liked it. The tip of the tail was slightly curved, and the black and white strips really made it look like a fake cosplay tail.

Fan came up to him from behind and hugged him tightly. "Are you happy?"

"I'm happy I have a tail. Look, look..." he moved his ass showing off his new body part. "it's amazing. I heard lemurs can even climb trees with their tails! Do you think I can do that?"

"We can try to see if you can."

"yes~~~"

Fan knew exactly the place to try this. "Why don't we go out for a small picnic?" he suggested.

Qian looked at him skeptically but his lover seemed to like that idea so he relented.

"But where do you even find a spot to lie out in the grass and view the sky?" Qian grumbled.

"There is a place perfect for this,"

Fan Xui and Yue helped Peng Peng pack a small bag of snacks, wine and blankets. they all set out.

Yue borrowed a huge hoodie and a baseball cap from Peng Peng to cover his tail and ears.

But his tail just kept popping out of his hoodie.

Fan tucked the tip of his tail inside. "Everyone packed?"

"yes~" Yue clung to his arm. "Where are we going?"

"We are going to a very familiar place,"

Fan led them to a familiar location.

Standing in front of the abandoned building Yue gave him a dull look. "Seriously? The abandoned house I was kidnapped in?"

Fan froze. "Was it a bad idea?"

"It's the worse idea," Qian patted his friend's back. "Sorry Yue, you had to tolerate the brainless guy so long. You my stupid fined, your lover must have been traumatized by this place and you brought I'm here for a picnic? Did you trade your brain cells for powers?"

Fan pushed his hand away. "the trees. The fruit trees are here. I thought you would like it..." he mumbled.

Yue gasped. "The fruit trees! They are still here?!"

"They are too big to be moved, so we just left it be. Some random people who walk by, take a few fruits." He whispered as they walked in.

The whole place was destroyed. The ceiling had caved in. and the four fruit trees were thriving. They had starched their branches all over, covering the open ceiling with a lush green view.

Yue took a deep breath. The fresh scent of mangoes and other fruits rushed into his system. "Okay, Fan is right. This place is awesome..."

Maybe because he was in an animal form but Yue could smell and sense everything in 4D. The small sounds of the trees rustling, the squeaky sound of branches rubbing against each other. The fruits dropped to the ground.

Even the scent of rotting fruit on the ground was tantalizing.

"It's perfect~" he hugged Fan's arm.

"you.. You're not triggered by any bad memories?" he cautiously whispered

Yue rolled his eyes. "I was barely conscious. And it's okay. I'm not a delicate flower; you don't have to tiptoe around me. if I feel traumatized by something I will definitely let you know so that we can avoid it in the future, yes?"

"Definitely,"

Peng Peng spread the blanket on the ground and finally he pulled down his hood. His cute black cat ears were exposed. He let out a deep breath and laid down.

Qian also joined him.

Yue and Fan spread a separate blanket little away from them and laid down watching the beautiful expanse of the tree.

The braches and the leaves rustled in the small gust of wind. It was a really nice thing to look at.

Fan pulled him closer. "Don't you want to try climbing like a monkey,"

He slapped his chest playfully. "I'm a lemur."

"Yes yes, a cute little lemur," Fan kissed his forehead. "You're not hairy ..." he whispered.

Yue glared at him. he was poking fun at Peng Peng who was slightly more hairy in his beast form. "You're mean,"

"I didn't mean it that way at all. I was just making an observation. Besides you would have been so cute when you were hairy. I could have rubbed my face all over your body hair," Fan appeased him with kisses. "so you still don't want to climb that,"

"I'll try," Yue stood up, flexing his muscles. Surprisingly his body was super flexible.

He got close to the banyan tree and climbed on it. his tail did not assist in any way. It was just staying in an erect position.

"That tail is of no help.." he shouted from above a tree branch.

"Lemurs use their tail for balance. Try jumping from one branch to another," Qian shouted from below.

"no! Don't jump!" Fan shouted back.

"I'm jumping~" Yue happily jumped around while his lover panicked from below.. fan was running around like a headless chicken with his arms out stretched ready to catch him. it was super adorable to look at.
