“I have work to do… There is none.”

It was good that she rationalized it as a rehearsal for leaving Leone, but now she didn’t know what to do. After all, it was her job to stick by Leone’s side every day.

“Should I report it to my superior?”

She moved to report Benjamin and Leone’s condition to Adler. Come to think of it, after she was immersed in education with Benjamin, she hardly encountered Adler. Now Adler seemed to believe in Benjamin. It was a surprising response for Adler, who took a long time to believe her.

“He is a good educator. I don’t think he is going to overdo it so that he doesn’t get hurt. And there are no trust issues.”

“You said that I was an assassin at first.”

She grumbled a little.

“I’ve investigated all of his circumstances, and he’s promised, so it’s hard to think otherwise.”

“Promised?”

“Trixie, you were promised something in return. Same goes for Benjamin.”

He finally took his eyes off the papers and looked at her.

“Perhaps he wants it more earnestly than you.”

“You discovered a teacher, however educator he may be, who lives on the borders of this vast empire. It’s strange to even know such news.”

She got out of the study. The only thing she was hiding was the fact that she knew everything about Leone’s identity. Adler didn’t ask about that, so if she said she knew, it would be nothing more than a scratch. Adler won’t let her go if he finds out she knew. Even if she claimed her innocence, he would call her a spy. She’s better off not talking.

“Now what do I really do?”

Should she do some cleanup? Since she was stuck with Leone, she didn’t have to worry about it, so even the place she cleaned before was a mess again. Thanks to the repairs made by the four knights who had been punished, only the exterior was clean. It seemed that she was naturally gifted as a worker ant. She made fun of hery busy steps to get the mop and broom.

After she went there, all she had to do was memorize the names and faces of a few servants over dinner. There was a sense of distance between the main building and the annex building. Meanwhile, Tom’s eyewitness account was absolutely accurate. really.
