Bai SiNing didn’t dare to speak, just blinked slightly through the dim light. He had wanted to get up to use the bathroom, and as soon as he rolled over in a daze he saw a shocking scene. At first, he thought he was going crazy on his CP, and was hallucinating. Only when he pinched himself violently on the back of his hand, did he see Gu Ang tilting his head in the dim light kissing Ye Fei’s Adam’s apple.

Not an accidental touch, but a lingering, gentle nibble.

It only lasted a few seconds before Gu Ang let go of the man, but he was sure he’d seen him correctly. Bai SiNing was scared half to death and covered his mouth to keep from making a sound. What were these two up to? were they having an underground relationship? He feels like his elbow grease head was spinning a bit, so he was fighting and having a tantrum the other day? That was so weird. Gu Ang clearly said the two of them weren’t together.

When his eyes focused, he realized that Gu Ang had opened his eyes across the place. His expression was cold, the action was ruthless, and if he wasn’t afraid of alarming the people next to him, he may have directly come over and assassinate him.

Bai SiNing winced. Could he still see the sun in a few hours?

Gu Ang lowered his eyes, thinking about how to deal with the current situation. Although he was already open, with Ye Fei, it was a matter of taking things step by step and slowly opening up all those knots. So, now wasn’t the time.

He gently lifted Ye Fei’s head and slowly stood up himself, then carefully lay the man down. In case Ye Fei was uncomfortable, he folded the jacket on the floor a bit more and gave it to him as a pillow. With that done, Gu Ang got up sharply, and walked straight to Bai SiNing.

Bai SiNing shook his head frantically and made gestures, “I didn’t see anything.”

His heart was beating wildly, and he blamed himself for looking blindly and fucking around in the middle of the night.

Gu Ang inclined his head towards him, his voice soft, “Come with me.”

Bai SiNing got up warily and followed behind Gu Ang, even as his legs trembled. What, this was going to make him dictate a suicide note first, then do him in this front and back.

The two men stepped over the gravel towards the river, the light was getting brighter and it was almost dawn. Bai SiNing couldn’t hold his tongue, “Brother Ang, what did you call me over for? I know I’ve been challenging you every day and making you tolerate it, but this time I really didn’t mean to! I just accidentally…”

“Don’t tell Ye Fei,” Gu Ang said as he casually thrust his hand into his pocket and found a hard object inside. He took it out and looked at it in the faint light; it was a golden button with an intricate pattern, not one that had fallen off his own shirt.

Gu Ang recalled that it seemed to be from the mystery man’s clothes yesterday. Is it hard to believe that it fell in by accident when he was fighting back?

Bai SiNing didn’t even dare to breathe loudly and asked in a suppressed voice, “Why can’t you tell him?”

Gu Ang looked back and casually tossed the button into his pocket, “Don’t want to talk about it.”

“Brother Ang, you like God Ye right?” Bai SiNing swallowed and spoke carefully, afraid that if he didn’t use the right word, he would piss off this lion.

Gu Ang didn’t admit or deny it, just looked away in silence.

Bai SiNing continued, “If you like him, why don’t you say so? You’re so cool, you don’t look like the kind of person who squirms, you should be bold enough to tell someone if you like them.”

Seeing that Gu Ang still looked calm, he boldly continued to persuade, “Besides, I have a feeling that God Ye likes you quite a lot too.”

Gu Ang raised an eyebrow, “You think he likes me?”

“Yeah, well, I’m not blind.” Bai SiNing shrugged, “He’s such a cold person, but he could be meticulous and considerate to you. It’s not like you, such a high and mighty man would be willing to fall off the pedestal?”

Gu Ang nodded in recognition. Ye Fei should have liked him, he could feel the gentle love in every gesture. What was more, explicitly and implicitly, the man had made it quite obvious.

Bai SiNing continued, “So yeah, if you’re in love, why don’t you just make it clear?”

“You’re a good door to talk about other people’s affairs.” Gu Ang opened his heart in a rare moment, “Bai, the matter of feelings isn’t so simple.”

“Huh? It’s hard to believe that you guys still care about what the world thought of double-A relationships. You shouldn’t.” Bai SiNing scratched his head, “But my parents also said that I’m simple-minded and four-legged, and that I probably think of things too innocently.”

Gu Ang froze, “Your parents, are they okay now?”

Bai SiNing didn’t know why the conversation had turned here and froze, “They’re good, in great shape.”

Gu Ang thought deeply. He understood why Bai had changed his temperament so much later. When he met Bai SiNing in his last life, he told him that his parents were both dead. If that didn’t happen soon, there must have been some major mishap in between.

Gu Ang looked rare and serious, “You have time now, spend more time with them.”

Bai SiNing laughed, “Got it, I’m filially obedient. Were you trying to change the subject?”

“Do you need a beating?” Gu Ang lifted his leg and kicked him, “I called you over here to tell you that no one is to say anything about tonight.”

Bai SiNing looked disappointed, “Ah, am I ever going to get to see you two together…”

Gu Ang pursed his lips and let out a rare sigh of relief, “Maybe.”

There was already the light of the morning sun in the sky, vibrant and full of hope. The little bit of sunlight warmed up the chilly body, and Gu Ang thought that he might really be able to make up with Ye Fei. Only, he couldn’t find that opportunity, or that opening. Those unspeakable secrets that he didn’t know how to mention to Ye Fei would be more appropriate. He was like a prey scurrying away in the vast darkness, trying to jump into a trap, unable to find the hole.

Bai SiNing tapped his head, “I get it, I’ve realized, you don’t want to be active, you like to be passive.”

Gu Ang: “……”

“You think it was humiliating to confess, don’t you?” Bai SiNing narrowed his eyes at him, “Geez, it might be a little hard for God Ye to initiate.”

Gu Ang didn’t resist kicking him again, “The more you talk, the further you get.”

Bai SiNing thought about what he would have to do to get Ye Fei to take the initiative. He didn’t have much experience with the whole chasing people thing either, it was balding. The two men walked quite a distance around the river and slowly returned along the same path.

Bai SiNing rubbed his somewhat sore eyes, “Brother Ang, it’s dawn. Are you still going back to sleep?”

Gu Ang exhaled a breath that turned into mist in the early morning, “Go back.”

Bai SiNing was indeed sleepy to the point of explosion, and just collapsed to the floor and instantly fell asleep.

Gu Ang turned around and circled back to where Ye Fei was lying on his side, the ground he was sitting on was taken and he could only half crouch next to it. He lowered his eyes to Ye Fei, whose eyes were closed, a little bit of scruff had sprung up, and underneath them was a faint ebony, looking a little tired.

Gu Ang propped his chin up for a moment, seeing Ye Fei’s brow furrow slightly. He glanced back at the sky as the sun slowly rose, illuminating the surrounding landscape in bright, shining light. Gu Ang reached out, holding his hand above his eyes, shielding him from the brightening sunlight.

Probably because of the sudden darkening of his vision, Ye Fei frowned again and slowly opened his eyes. It took him a moment to adjust before he saw the bandaged hand in front of him, “Why aren’t you asleep?”

Gu Ang quickly withdrew his hand, “You’re awake.”

“Mn, the ground was too hard.” Ye Fei moved his neck and half sat up, “Aren’t you sleepy?”

“Sleepy.” Gu Ang didn’t rest well. After stealing a kiss earlier and dragging Bai SiNing through a good part of a sleepless night talking about his worries.

Ye Fei reached out and pulled him back to sit on the folded clothes, “Uncomfortable sleep?”

Gu Ang nodded, “Kind of.”

“And my shoulders were uncomfortable to sleep on?” Ye Fei rubbed his somewhat sore shoulder, “Or, do you want to rest on my lap?”

Gu Ang laughed and scolded, “Fuck you.”

“Seriously, get some more sleep. Lean on my back.” Ye Fei turned his back, leaving him with a wide back.

The wide shoulders and narrow waist looked solid and reliable. Gu Ang hesitated for a few seconds, tilting his head sideways and pressing his head gently against it then closed his eyes. His cheek could even feel the warmth coming through his shirt, and the taut lines of muscle. It was the same as he remembered; generous, warm, with a flourishing hormone.

Gu Ang wasn’t really asleep either, he just felt particularly comfortable leaning in like this and faked sleep with his eyes closed. Ye Fei literally barely moved at all, just maintaining that pose and giving him his firm back.

The two maintained a strange silence, something ambiguous and something that made the heart swirl with flowers. It turned out that when feelings aren’t poking through yet, a little gesture could make a person’s heart thump.

Soon there were human voices in his ears, as if people were waking up one by one and talking in low voices. Feeling a little restless, Gu Ang rubbed his eyes and pretended to have just woken up. As soon as he opened his eyes, there was Bai SiNing’s enlarged face again.

Gu Ang was taken aback by the jolt, “What are you looking at?”

Bai SiNing smiled with a wry smile, catching people’s little secrets as if they were smug, “I’ll just look around.”

Gu Ang moved his right hand, “Want to get punched in the morning?”

Bai SiNing stretched his voice and his eyes dripped, “God Ye, last night Ah’Ang he…”

The rest of his words were muffled by Gu Ang.

Okay, he knows how to threaten people.

Ye Fei looked at the two who were fighting and asked, “What happened last night?”

Bai SiNing received another warning look and wincing, he turned the tables, “He couldn’t find a place to pee last night and wandered around, with his ass out.”

Gu Ang: “……” What was in this man’s head, why couldn’t he even panic?

Bai SiNing’s voice wasn’t small, so several people next to him heard it, and several boys began to giggle and laugh along.

The junior next to him scowled at him, “Piss in the river, nourish the minnows.”

“It’s disgusting.” Gu Ang gave him a blank look, “Don’t you forget, you ate fish from that river yesterday.”

Wei YangZe made a gesture to throw up, “Stop it, you made me imagine that smell.”

“You peed for Bai SiNing to see?” Ye Fei focused on the oddity.

Gu Ang: “……” He strained his neck and lowered his voice to try to round things off, “Why? I’m eighteen, should I be afraid of being seen?”

Gu Ang felt that he had quite a capital. It was just a bit of a shame that Ye Fei couldn’t press him down and didn’t get a chance to experience it in his last life.

Ye Fei didn’t expect perverted thoughts early in the morning, and images of Gu Ang without pants flashed through his mind. His waist was tight and thin, legs long and white, and the place in the middle when he wrapped his palm around it last…

Fuck, he couldn’t think about it.

Ye Fei coughed lightly, “Next time, be careful not to show it to anyone.”
