CH 87

“A routine check?” Ye Fei sighed breathlessly, hating himself for his momentary confusion, “Bai SiNing this fool, I was dizzy in the head to believe him too.”

Gu Ang looked at him with a slight tilt of his head, a look of amusement, “Anxious? Panicked? Scared?”

It was rare for him to see Ye Fei so lost in thought, a good-looking face bloodless and cold.

“Mn, scared me to death.” Ye Fei nodded in acknowledgement and stressed again, “Nothing can happen to you or the baby.”

Gu Ang wrinkled his nose and turned to where he was getting his report, “So is it me or the baby that’s important? You didn’t quit smoking for me before.”

Ye Fei curled his lips, and followed him with his hands in his pockets, “Why? Still jealous of the baby?”

“I’m not, how could I be so childishly jealous?” Gu Ang retorted with a strained neck. He sat in front of the nurse’s desk and reached back for his report.

Ye Fei didn’t take a step away from the person, stating the facts in a low voice, “You’re the most important, and I love you the most.”

Gu Ang gave him a blank look, getting goosebumps at the comment, “Disgusting.”

Ye Fei continued, “If I had to choose between you and the baby, I’d have to go with you, hands down.”

That was a mid-sentence, mind-blowing statement. Gu Ang’s eyes were droopy and his ears were red, even the tips were flushed pink. He moved his lips and his voice went down gently, “Okay, got it.”

“What did the report say?”

“I couldn’t read it, I’m going to get a doctor.”

Ye Fei followed him down the stairs, watching Gu Ang venture three steps, nervous. Turning the corner, the small of his back almost brushed the railing as he reached out and padded over it to block it and slow the impact. The back of his hand hit with the force of the squeeze, leaving a small red mark.

“Be careful.”

Gu Ang took a half step back and proceeded to walk downstairs, “It’s okay.”

Ye Fei shook his head and sighed helplessly, “Reckless.”

Gu Ang was too big-headed and didn’t take anything to heart.

The daily burden of everything had to fall on his head. Ye Fei rubbed the back of his reddened hand, thinking to himself that he would have to keep a closer eye on his lover. The two returned to the doctor’s office, and Gu Ang reached over and handed over the report, dangling it in front of the doctor’s eyes.

Doctor Zhang looked up and looked at the two big and tall men in front of him with a bewildered look, “How come the person changed?”

“He thought I came to get an abortion.” Gu Ang stifled a laugh, his tone full of bragging.

It was still quite delightful to see Ye Fei so nervous.

The doctor felt inexplicably stuffed with a mouthful of dog food at those words. He’d seen quite a few young couples have children without getting married, those who fought and those who went with the flow and had them. This was a peculiar and puzzling pair of circumstances. He pushed his glasses up and looked at the two suspiciously, questioning, “So, Ye Fei, why didn’t you admit it before?”

Ye Fei said matter-of-factly, “Memory loss, didn’t remember.”

The doctor choked for a moment, “It’s still possible, no wonder Gu Ang could forgive you. You’re the first one I’ve come across that disowned a child and came out alive.”

Gu Ang was amused, “Check out the report. If there’s no problem, we’ll be on our way.”

The doctor turned over the thick pile of papers in his hand, all indicators were normal, “The development is healthy, you can already see the gender, do you want to know?”

“Yes.”

“Don’t want to.”

Gu Ang grunted, “No tacit understanding.”

Ye Fei asked him, “Why wouldn’t you want to?”

“Wouldn’t that be no surprise?” Gu Ang wrinkled his brow and took a step back, “Why? Are you sexist?”

Ye Fei shrugged his shoulders slightly, his tone cloudy, “I just want to prepare early so I don’t have my hands full when the time comes. If you don’t want to know, forget it, I don’t care.”

The doctor’s expression was subtle and the corner of his mouth twitched, “Ye Fei, you’re being too accommodating, aren’t you? You really don’t want to hear it?”

Ye Fei glanced at Gu Ang, and the child stubbornly looked away with a resistant face. He shook his head, giving up his curiosity, “Forget it, we’ll know when they’re born.”

The doctor choked for a moment, with the unpleasant feeling of having to swallow back the words that had come out of his mouth. All ready to say it but still had to hold it back. He rubbed his nose and smiled sarcastically, “Mn, respect your opinions, the baby is developing rather quickly and should be born in another three months I guess, so you guys pay attention.”

Gu Ang was surprised, “So soon? Isn’t it just over three months? My belly hasn’t even bulged yet.”

“Everyone’s body is different, and some people have just a little bit of a bump up to birth.” The doctor laughed and teased, “It’s probably because you’re more muscular.”

Gu Ang muttered in a low voice, “That’s true, and it’s fine, I don’t want to look big and ugly either.”

“It’s not ugly.” Ye Fei lifted a hand to touch the small of his back and looked to the doctor again, speaking with a straight face, “I have one more question.”

Doctor Zhang put down the report, lifted his hand to his teacup and blew on the tea leaves floating on it, “What?”

“Now that we’re in a stable phase, could we…” Ye Fei paused for a moment, thinking that it would be prudent to pick a more academic term in the face of an MD, “Can we have intercourse?”

The doctor was sipping his water and didn’t hold back a mouthful from spewing it all out. He scrambled to find tissue to wipe the table, having no time for Ye Fei’s questions.

“What the hell kind of questions are you asking?” Gu Ang couldn’t resist punching him in the face.

Ye Fei looked at him with seriousness written all over his face, “Wouldn’t you like to know?”

God knew he was getting hot and horny every time he remembered that night. If he kept holding it like this, he’d be wasted sooner or later.

Gu Ang held his face red, his ears perked up slightly instead, wanting to hear the answer.

Finally finishing the mess on the table, the doctor coughed lightly, “Theoretically, it ‘s fine, but it’s not advisable to get over excited. You guys understand, right?”

Ye Fei nodded with a smirk, “Understood.”

After six years of vegetarianism, he’d just run out of meat, and he had to plan for his future. It wasn’t advisable to get excited as long as he could do it.

Gu Ang glared at him, “You don’t know shit.”

He hasn’t even compromised yet, so why was this guy asking so bluntly? Gu Ang reached for the report and turned for the door, not bothering with the slutty fox.

Ye Fei nodded at the doctor and followed in stride, taking Gu Ang’s wrist, “What are you running for? Shy?”

“Let go, move your hands.” Gu Ang broke free from the confines of his grip and didn’t look back.

Ye Fei tsked, “Enough is enough. Move back.”

Gu Ang gave him a disgusted look, “Not moving, moving back in and waiting for you to be an animal? How could you even ask that kind of question?”

“I’m not afraid I’ll get you hurt again, it was right to ask.”

“Dog man, bad intentions.” Gu Ang finished through gritted teeth and finally walked to the entrance of the hospital and saw Bai SiNing who was spinning around. He didn’t bother with Ye Fei, striding over and slapping Bai SiNing on the back of the head, “Finally, I have time to settle accounts with you. Why were you opening your mouth and talking nonsense?”

“Brother Ang, you’re out so soon? Aren’t you…” Bai SiNing looked the man up and down, looking calm, and entered together. He saw Ye Fei behind him again and his expression was even more puzzled.

Gu Ang slapped him again and asked through clenched teeth, “Who wants an abortion?”

Bai SiNing’s head was full of question marks, his brain still unable to comprehend.

Ye Fei sulked and whispered a warning, “Bai SiNing, the next time you talk nonsense, you might have to be beaten up by the two of us together. Could you please figure out the situation before briefing, please?”

Bai SiNing held his mouth in aggravation, “I’m not worried about him… it was my fault for overthinking. Ah’Ang, then what were you doing here at the hospital?”

Gu Ang waved the report in his hand, “I came to check to see if I was fine. Have you never heard of a maternity check?”

Oh, hospital, maternity, made sense.

“Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry.” Bai SiNing dropped his head, knowing his mistake and apologizing on the fly.

“Don’t worry about it next time, with your pig brain and lack of intelligence.” Looking at that pathetic look, Gu Ang couldn’t bear to scold him again. He waved his hand in annoyance and pushed the man out the door, “Alright, alright, let’s go back to bed, I’m sleepy again.”

Bai SiNing turned back and froze, pointing at Ye Fei, “He’s here, and you’re not going back with him?”

Gu Ang was stubborn, “Not following him, let’s go.”

What Ye Fei had in mind, Gu Ang couldn’t have been clearer. It was only a day that they had been apart and he hadn’t figured it out yet, so what was the rush?

Ye Fei watched the two men’s backs, thinking that he really shouldn’t have asked that question in front of Gu Ang and pissed the man off again. But this wasn’t the way to go, he had to think of a way to irritate his little friend and get him to come back sooner.

Ye Fei stood in the doorway for a moment, thinking over the possibilities and finally deciding on the most violent one. The sticking point for both was that Gu Ang couldn’t face actually doing it, so let him step over it.

With that in mind, Ye Fei took a detour to the small shop at the entrance. Once inside, he opened the door and explained his purpose, “Uncle, is there a potion to accelerate the susceptibility period?”

The boss saw the visitor and let out a chuckle, “What do you want?”

Ye Fei was calm, “I’m having trouble with my boyfriend, so I’m using some tricks to get him back.”

“You young people are so good at it these days. Yes, of course I have.” The older man glanced around the shelves, carried two small bottles down and put them on the counter with a clank, “What don’t I have here? Treasure little shop.”

Ye Fei lowered his eyes to the instructions on the bottle, “Does it work? When will it work?”

The older man looked at him, smirking, “A little harder, tonight, but the process will be harder.”

Ye Fei thought to himself, It’s about being fierce, about being fast and very accurate.

“Okay, I’ll pay.” He settled the bill dryly and carried the two bottles of medicine back to his dorm. It was a bit of a villainous tactic, but that was the kind of thing Gu Ang needed to spice things up a bit. Otherwise the two were at a strange distance, obviously having done everything and not knowing what to be shy about.

Break through that barrier in his mind and things would be much better.

Consider him to be, well, plotting to commit a crime. A beating was inevitable, but the death that needed to be done still needed to be done. Ye Fei entered 404, closed the door behind him, and went into the bathroom first to take a shower. After changing into his bathrobe and coming out, he injected himself with the medicine according to the instructions.

Down hard, two sticks.

After the injection, Ye Fei lay on the couch and waited for a reaction. The effect of the medicine was indeed fierce, and within a short while, a dry heat rose up in his body and quickly spread to his limbs. The feeling was familiar, and Ye Fei’s pupils twitched slightly, exactly as they had felt that night when he had been hit with the inducer.

His mouth was dry and his body was burning. Even the smell of brandy pheromone was emanating from the body bit by bit. Ye Fei knew that the agent had worked and that his susceptibility period was coming. This time, he had done something to himself to get his little friend back. Every time he used to get to this stage, he would stay with Gu Ang and go crazy for two days and two nights.

Usually the susceptibility period lasted a long time, but basically after making out with Gu Ang, it subsided quickly. At the end of the day, a vulnerable period was one that required the reassurance of a loved one.

After another half hour, the dryness got worse. Even the mere flash of Gu Ang’s face in his head made the small of his back feel tight. Ye Fei rubbed his brow and dialed Gu Ang’s number.

Gu Ang picked up quickly and hung back, asking, “What?”

Ye Fei was hoarse, forcing down the reaction that came up, “I’m not feeling well, could you come back here?”

Gu Ang was lying on the couch munching on an apple and asked vaguely, “Weren’t you just fine?”

“I don’t know, it’s hot, like I have a fever.” Ye Fei’s tone remained the same as he made something up, “Maybe I was worried about you last night and caught a cold sitting on the balcony.”

Gu Ang threw the apple core in the trash and got a little worried, “Is it serious? Should we go see a doctor?”

There was a moment of silence before Ye Fei spoke. He was sprawled across the couch, his robe already lifted a small amount, in a difficult state at this point, “Come back to see me.”

Gu Ang was silent for a moment, “Okay.”

He did think that Ye Fei was in such good health that he wouldn’t get a fever from a breeze. Just by the sound of it, he did sound a bit unnatural. His voice was low and hoarse, like a fire burning. The oppressive discomfort could be felt through the earpiece. After all, he couldn’t let go of Ye Fei.

Hanging up the phone, Gu Ang got up from the couch and put on his shoes, rushing to say goodbye to Bai SiNing, “Xiao Bai, I’m going out.”

Bai SiNing was instantly nervous, “Where are you going? Do you want me to accompany you?”

Ever since he found out that Gu Ang was pregnant, he was afraid that he would bump into him and something would go wrong.

Gu Ang waved his hand, “Don’t mind me, I’m going back to my dorm.”

Bai SiNing instantly understood and nodded, “Okay, go back.”

“Evening… No need to wait for me for dinner.” Gu Ang instructed uncomfortably. If Ye Fei got sick, he’d have to stay and take care of him.

Bai SiNing smiled and squeezed his eyebrows, “Fine, fine, it’s fine if you don’t come back to sleep at night.”

Gu Ang saw through it at a glance, “Bai SiNing, put away the yellow thoughts that fill your head.”

Bai SiNing held back his laughter, not daring to let loose, “Sorry, go.”

Gu Ang glared at him again before he stormed out the door and rushed back to his dorm. Along the way, his feet flew. It was too long of a walk and too short of a step for a full five minutes. Opening the combination lock to get inside, the smell of brandy that hit him almost made him weak in the knees.

It wasn’t like a fever, it was like a rut. That familiar pheromone, unfolding its deadly attraction, eroded him bit by bit. Gu Ang entered on soft legs, his expression stony, and saw Ye Fei lying on the couch. The black bathrobe was open most of the way, revealing a lean chest and abs, the middle strap tied loosely to block some of the view.

Further down, long straight legs rested lazily on the couch, their healthy complexion contrasting with the white sofa. Poorly dressed, Svengali scum. The entire scene looked tantalizingly springlike. Who the fuck could hold this? He felt like he’d fallen into a fox hole, that the man had turned into a demon and was seducing him.

“Don’t you, like, have a fever?” Gu Ang mumbled the question as he pinched his palm to bring himself back to his senses.

Ye Fei opened his eyes to look at him, pupils dark as if they were burning with an invisible fire, “Mn, sort of.”

“So you’re having a hard time?” Gu Ang slowly walked over to him, crouched down on the edge of the couch, and pressed the back of his hand to his forehead. It was hot, burning his skin.

Ye Fei looked at him without blinking, “It’s a fever, I’m susceptible.”

Gu Ang froze, “What’s with the sudden…”

He felt like he’d stepped on a trap and fallen into said trap. His hand was caught by Ye Fei and he was in a dilemma. A desire to escape the grip was born in his heart, but his feet couldn’t move.

Ye Fei licked his lower lip, “Light, I’m hard.”

“What do you want?” Gu Ang spoke with difficulty, feeling a shiver run down his back.

Ye Fei’s eyes were too aggressive, like a cheetah locking onto its prey. Gu Ang felt an unprecedented sense of oppression, as if in the next second, he was going to be eaten by him. Ye Fei propped himself up on the couch and sat up, dropping his eyes to look at the man, “What do I want, you don’t know?”

Wanted to hold him, wanted to kiss him, wanted to mark him, wanted to make love. There was a lot he wanted to do, he just didn’t know how far Gu Ang could take it right now. He laughed to himself inwardly, coming down pretty hard on himself in order to trick the person to come back. If Gu Ang didn’t care enough about him, he could have tortured himself to death during the susceptibility period after the pharmaceutical stimulation.

Gu Ang felt as if his eyes had fogged up and he blinked, a hint of confusion running through him, “What do you want me to do?”

Ye Fei pressed his fingers against his neck, “I want to mark you.”

Bold, blunt, and revealing. The susceptibility period shredded his svelte facade to reveal a heavy possessiveness. Gu Ang had almost forgotten that Ye Fei, at times like this, had nothing to do with gentleness. He was a bloodthirsty wolf who wanted to eat him cleanly.

He lowered his eyes, his mind doing a tremendous struggle. Being his Omega himself, that wasn’t too much to ask at all. He was just afraid that by taking one step back, he’d have no control over what happened next, and what would be the result?

For the past two days, he’d been psyching himself up. Two people who had done everything and went with the flow should bond like normal Alphas and Omegas. But he was so strong before, and now that the relationship was reversed, it felt awkward.

It was like once he compromised, he was going to be bullied by Ye Fei forever. What would that man do to him, would he possess him with force and violence?

Ye Fei saw his hesitation, and he reached out a finger, brushing his fingertips over the gland on his neck. Gently, but with a strong possessive edge, “Light, don’t be afraid.”

Gu Ang whispered, “I wasn’t an Omega before, and you came over.”

The two men were silent, caught in an eerie tug of war. Ye Fei reached out and rubbed the man into his arms, lighting fires all around to break the balance.

He opened his mouth to explain, and as if to persuade him, “I’m not a saint, I can’t fight an Alpha’s natural attraction.”

Seems like, well, that made sense. Gu Ang thought, after all, he had been marked by Ye Fei so many times that he was physically an unbeatable fit. He shuddered slightly and tilted his head sideways to expose his neck with a look of heroism, “If it will make you feel better marking me, then do it.”

Ye Fei’s eyelashes twitched and the hand squeezing his waist tightened. He was really bad, taking advantage of Gu Ang’s love for him. But he had to take this step.

Only when Gu Ang accepted the state of affairs between an Alpha and an Omega could the two of them truly live smoothly. He was setting a trap in a loop, drawing his prey back bit by bit and then taking him into captivity.

One step at a time, one step at a time. He pressed his lips to the neck, the tip of his tongue gently touching the fragile gland. His canine teeth were brushing against it, as if to tease him.

Gu Ang closed his eyes and felt his body tingle, even as his fingers became stiff. It was the first time he had ever been so intuitive, feeling the reaction that the mark brought. He felt the canines linger and then jabbed into the glands before catching a strong whiff of brandy.

The smell of that liquor swept into his body, invading every cell, getting them drunk and then doing whatever they wanted. Gu Ang felt like he really seemed to have changed. Just a bite on the neck and his body was already limp and ready for the picking.

He couldn’t help but hug Ye Fei back, his ankles hooked around his lean waist. He even began to gasp as his heart gave birth to a fine longing, a deeper infusion, a harder branding. But he was too shy to speak and was silent. Just obediently accepting this long mark.

Ye Fei narrowed his eyes slightly, revealing an insatiable look as his fingers moved disobediently down and dug into the hem of his shirt. He pressed against Gu Ang’s earlobe and compelled in his best voice, “Light, I want you.”

His plan was half successful, and he gained an inch.

“No, I’m pregnant.” Gu Ang’s heart almost leapt out of his throat, a shred of sanity remaining.

Ye Fei licked the bitten gland and moved back to the corner of his lips for a delicate kiss, “The doctor said it was okay.”

Gu Ang routed and made a last ditch struggle, “Use my legs.”

It was the biggest concession he could make right now.

As soon as the words were out of his mouth, Ye Fei picked his lover up sharply and strutted over to the bed in their dormitory to set him down. His entire body had fallen into the abyss of lust, but his movements still remained gentle.

Gu Ang sank into the mattress and was pinned by Ye Fei before he could move. The two were pressed tightly together, buttons falling apart, the waist of their pants falling, and the heat suddenly rushing up.

“I’ll be gentle.” Ye Fei gripped his neck and continued the unfinished mark. Ye Fei’s hands imprisoned Gu Ang’s long legs, merging them into a tight angle before opening up a gap and squeezing in his erection with difficulty.

Gu Ang’s eyes flushed red at the end, and he himself looked like a trapped animal entering his rut. His legs became stone mills, and the beans fell on them, grinding back and forth, little by little, to grind out the juice. Him, on the other hand, was like a pounded rice cake, soft and sticky, gooey and limp.

The rut seemed to be contagious, he wanted to be appeased too.

“I’m hard.” Gu Ang moved haphazardly, the rhythm completely messed up, all on instinct.

Ye Fei’s breathing was thick, “I’ll help you.”

Gu Ang closed his eyes and his senses were magnified to infinity.

Ye Fei’s lips were on the neck, his hands moving down, the heat provoking his rubbed, fragile skin, bullying it back and forth. He felt Ye Fei murmur, “You were more active than I was that night, begging me to take you. Much like the present scene, do you recall?”

“Don’t say it.” Gu Ang shielded his face with his hands, and the memories in his head seemed to be coming back bit by bit. The picture was still dim, with only a lot of fragmented dialogue.

“I want you.”

“Back, come in.”

“Big brother, I love you.”

“Don’t go, give me that.”

…

Every sentence, his seduction. Each time, he was the one taking the initiative.

Ye Fei wasn’t wrong, he dominated and the truth came out that he was the culprit. Gu Ang’s eyes snapped open, accompanied by a stormy rhythm, and he stiffened before falling back onto the bed. The pieces that rushed to his mind were hard enough to face. He felt ashamed and wanted to find a crack in the ground, but his body felt like it was pinned.

He became a broken fallen doll, ebbing and flowing, accompanying Ye Fei as he reached the abyss of his descent. While sanity was falling layer by layer, his lust was rising. Gu Ang’s mind was a jumble of nothing but primal cravings.

They were like statues poured into one, a natural fit for each other. But the statues actually moved, turning into birds with wings, fitting together and flying towards the light. White light glowed all around them, and the thane suddenly found an exit to break through. There was a sudden stillness in the movement, and after a few seconds, Ye Fei let out a low, muffled grunt.

A little off from the outcome he wanted, but not too bad right now.

This was the first time they’d been physically intimate since Gu Ang got pregnant.

Ye Fei looked up and touched Gu Ang’s lower lip, “I’m sorry, I couldn’t control it, did I hurt you?”

Gu Ang came back to his senses before he felt the hot patch, “That fucking hurt.”

“Let me see.”

“Don’t look, go away.” The child afterwards was cranky.

Ye Fei rolled over and lay flat, “I didn’t go in, I did my best, would you please feel sorry for me?”

Gu Ang stopped talking, feeling a little guilty. This was indeed a bit harsh to treat Ye Fei during his susceptible period. He didn’t dare look at his lover, his eyes dropping as he remembered what he had just seen.

After the intimacy of earlier, so much maneuvering down, it seemed like facing Ye Fei as an Omega was much more candid. If Ye Fei had just been a little more forceful, it seemed… it was also acceptable. Sure enough breaking through that barrier was just a matter of gritting his teeth and closing his eyes.

In particular, the walls in his heart seemed to collapse as he thought about the fragments of that night. The memory of that night was opened and that taste, then, became the tempting apple of Eden.

Gu Ang thought to himself that next time, he could definitely open himself up completely and accept Ye Fei. He moved and there were some sticky marks on the base of his leg that weren’t too comfortable. He turned onto his side and reached out to touch the tissue on the bed, trying to clean it up.

He didn’t hold it steady and the entire packet of paper fell to the floor.

Gu Ang bent over the side of the bed to reach for it, the light was dim and he did it all by feel. His fingers fidgeted and his fingertips touched the glass bottle at the bottom of the bed.

Ye Fei’s energy had just gone down and he was squinting to admire the wonderful body when he suddenly thought of something and sat up straight. But, it was too late.

Gu Ang rolled over with the bottle in his hand and came up to read the instructions carefully. He spoke slowly, his voice like the dull blade of a lingering man, “You used this stuff to make yourself susceptible today?”

Ye Fei reached up to rub the base of Gu Ang’s reddened leg, massaging him with warm fingers, “I was wrong, I just wanted you back.”

“Bullshit, you were craving my body and tricked me back into doing something immoral!”

“It wasn’t immoral.” Ye Fei didn’t bother to cover up.

Gu Ang closed his eyes as the afterglow of his earlier arousal receded and his sanity returned. He knew then that to feel sorry for Ye Fei was to bring guilt upon himself. How dark this man was, he had learned time and time again, and still fell into the trap every time.

Fuck, I feel sorry for the old dog for nothing, he deserves to suffocate himself. Gu Ang tossed the bottle on the nightstand and spit in disgust, “Here’s the incriminating evidence, prisoner Ye, you have committed a deliberate crime! How long have you been premeditating this?”

Ye Fei shamelessly admitted to a double entendre, “I’ve been deliberately trying to get you back for a long time.”
