Chapter 75

Chapter 75: Fighting The Humanoid Demons (5)

“ROBUS!”

Upon those words leaving Blake’s mouth, a reverberating roar that shook the whole area came from the side of Blake and the five humanoid demons.

The five humanoid demons were frozen in place, but it wasn’t due to the loud roar that they just heard.

Instead, it was because of the creature that suddenly appeared from their side.

Landing on the ground with a jump that shook the rocks, trees, and bushes all around its feet, a humongous gorilla about half the height of the trees covered in dark earth rocks came out of the forest.

Unlike before when Blake first met the five humanoid demons and the two sides did a stare off. This time, the humongous gorilla didn’t waste a single second as he made his way and ran headfirst into the five humanoid demons without even an ounce of fear both in his eyes and his heart.

With the connection that Robus had with Blake, Robus was able to faintly feel the distress and worry that Blake felt in his heart a few minutes ago, and there was an urge in his body telling him to go towards Blake’s location.

.....

However, Robus trusted Blake and decided to do as Blake said before and stay at his current position first unless Blake said otherwise, so he decided to stand still and patiently waited for Blake to come.

And soon, Robus felt the connection between him and Blake got stronger which means that Blake had come closer to him.

Blake then told Robus about the five humanoid demons and what they had done to him, attacking him from all sides and trying to make him fall into their trap.

And when Robus heard his friend had been ganged up on, the huge gorilla had almost run towards the five humanoid demons’ direction on his own even when they still hadn’t caught up towards Blake.

Fortunately, Blake was still able to stop Robus from doing so and told Robus about the plan that he had in mind about ambushing the five humanoid demons from the side while he confronted them from the front.

And of course, Blake also didn’t forget to tell Robus to wear the dark earth armor as he had proven for himself how there were only some white spots and no cracks on the armor on his body despite the beating that he got a few minutes ago.

Robus was more than just eager to pummel the five humanoid demons who hurt his friend.

So when the five humanoid demons appeared and Blake gave him the signal, it didn’t take Robus more than just a second to release his usual war cry before charging straight into the battlefield.

Robus’ huge intimidating body, his resounding war cry, and the fact that the ground shook a little every time he took a step, made the five humanoid demons almost frozen in shock as this was their first time ever meeting a demonic beast as huge as Robus.

The ones that they usually met so far were only slightly bigger than them, and none of them had this certain intimidating aura that told everyone not to mess around with it unless they wanted their heads crushed by Robus’ huge hands that could easily fit two of their heads inside one of his palms.

Fortunately for them, the brownish demon, the one that had been giving the command so far, seemed to have regained its senses much quicker than the others as it was able to utter another command when Robus was already halfway towards them.

“Aghttack!”

Upon hearing the command, as if they had been trained to respond to it, the four other humanoid demons started moving.

With a much or less barely coordinated movement, the three physical demons, the skeletal wing demon, the insect wing demon, and the long claw demon, kicked their feet off of the ground and also charged forward, meeting Robus straight on.

While the remaining two demons, the brownish and the greenish demon, or basically the mages of the group, also kicked their feet off the ground.

But instead of moving forward to meet Robus, they instead jumped backward to gain an even more distance from the charging Robus.

Just like before, the skeletal wing demon spread its wings sideways and poured nether into it while running towards Robus.

With its wings spread and making its body lighter, the skeletal wing demon shot its body forward in the huge gorilla’s direction with incredible speed and carrying huge momentum in its body.

Blake might be seriously worried about the possible damage the skeletal wing demon could bring to him with such huge momentum.

But Robus, on the other hand, didn’t give a single care about it and wasn’t afraid to ram his body to the enemy that seemingly disappeared from its last location before a blur came heading straight to him.

Seeing the blur coming to him, Robus put more strength into his feet, braced his body, and increased his running speed.

The skeletal wing demon might have carried a lot of momentum by moving so fast that Robus could only see a blur coming to him.

However, Robus himself was also moving as fast as he could.

And with a body three or four times bigger than the skeletal wing demon and was also covered in the dark earth armor, the result of the clash between the two was obvious.

Upon the skeletal wing demon’s fist made contact with Robus’ huge armored body, a split second of numbness on his body was all that Robus could feel before he saw a small humanoid demon appearing right in front of his body.

Without even caring about how the demon looked, the second Robus laid his eyes on the figure, Robus raised his fist and shoved it straight into the humanoid demon’s chest.

The force of Robus’ fist was already so huge even without adding any additional momentum by running or jumping that his fist instantly made loud bone-cracking noise when it hit the skeletal wing demon’s body and hurled the humanoid demon backward, falling straight to the dirt ground and not getting up for a while because the intense pain that it felt on its chest.

And just like that, the demon that had been giving Blake quite a headache back then had been taken care of temporarily just with a single punch.
