Chapter 149

149 Getting Out (1)

Something like this had never happened before in his entire life so far in the demon realm.

Although the connection he had with Robus enabled the two of them to converse and they could locate each other no matter how far apart they were, Blake had never felt his heart beating faster and a massive sense of wary and stress hit his body and mind before from the connection he had with Robus.

Blake had wandered off quite far away in his stroll, and it would take him about 10 minutes if he were to walk back to the place where Robus should have been resting.

However, no way Blake would have leisurely walked back to check on Robus after the feelings that he felt.

Using all his might, including lightening up his body with his wings, Blake ran back towards Robus’ location as fast as he could.

And the supposedly 10 minutes journey had become only 3 minutes in total with Blake going as fast as his body was capable of doing.

Blake hadn’t even seen Robus yet, but he could already have an inkling of what had happened as when he was only some distance away from Robus’ location, Blake was met with rows of humanoid demons that all stood facing Robus’ direction.

Blake didn’t even have to think about what he had to do as he cast darkness bullet after darkness bullet and killed as many humanoid demons as possible that he met on his way.

Of course, while doing all this, Blake didn’t stop moving his feet at all and kept on running towards Robus while casting as many spells as possible to cull down the humanoid demons’ number.

.....

Blake didn’t even stop for a second to grab the souls of humanoid demons that he had killed with either his darkness bullet or darkness spike spell as he only cared about seeing the condition of his best friend first.

Best

And when he finally arrived at Robus’ location, Blake couldn’t help but let out a curse.

“YOU FUCKERS!”

What Blake saw in his sight was the scene of Robus being besieged from 3 different directions by a group of humanoid demons each.

Which means 15 humanoid demons were currently attacking Robus from three different directions and kept him from being able to move too much.

Different from the usual team of humanoid hunters that were so weak that they needed bone weapons to aid them in their attacks, these 3 groups of humanoid demons were all composed of humanoid demons that all had a unique physical trait that was suitable for combat.

Even there were 4 demons that had deformed wings that could use the enhanced charge by lightening their bodies.

And not stopping there, outside the group of physical type humanoid demons, some distance away from the three groups of humanoid demons, there were another two groups of humanoid demons consisting of humanoid demons that had colorful skin colors standing and drawing runes that were aimed in Robus’ direction.

Fireballs, tree roots, vines, earth walls, and even darkness tendrils were found around Robus’ body as the humanoid demon mages cast their spells toward the huge gorilla.

And lastly, more humanoid demons were found circling around the area, with Robus and the 5 humanoid demons group in the middle of the encirclement.

Despite all the attacks that Robus received, his actual body wasn’t in any great danger due to the dark earth armor negating almost all of the attacks that the groups of humanoid demons released toward him.

However, even the very strong dark earth armor had already developed several cracks, particularly on Robus’ arm which the gorilla used to block most of the incoming attacks.

Of course, Blake didn’t just stand still and watch all of this happen.

After announcing his arrival with a loud curse, Blake sent nether through his wings again before dashing as powerfully as he could toward the two groups of humanoid demon mages.

Blake’s control over his own power when using the wing-lightening method wasn’t the best, but he didn’t need much control to ram himself onto the humanoid demon mages’ bodies.

Blake didn’t give a single care about control as he released all of his strength to his feet to get into the middle of the humanoid demon mages as fast as he could.

And while his body was flying, both of his hands already completed drawing two of the same spells that he held in his hands, waiting for the right moment to activate them.

So when his body that was covered in dark earth armor crashed head-first into the nearest humanoid demon mage, Blake then released one of the spells that he held in his hands.

As the spell was finally released, a wave of darkness element began to wash over the humanoid demon mages that stood all around him and the darkness element latched itself onto the humanoid demons’ bodies.

However, Blake didn’t release the second spell until he got back up and dashed forward once again toward the other group of humanoid demon mages.

Unlike the first group of humanoid demon mages that weren’t aware of Blake’s existence, the second group already noticed the first group was attacked by an unknown creature and they were aware that the unknown creature was making its way toward their location.

But the distance between the first group and the second group was just too close that it only took Blake, who used his wings to make his body lighter, less than two seconds to arrive at the second group.

And two seconds were not enough for the humanoid demon mages native of the first demon realm to cast a single spell.

And the same thing happened once again, Blake rammed his body into another humanoid demon mage, breaking its fragile bones with the dark earth armor covering his body, before then releasing the mass marking spell onto the group.

Then when all the humanoid demon mages had his mark on their bodies, Blake finally began drawing two sets of runes in each of his two hands.

And yes, those two runes were two myriad of darkness tendril spells.
