Chapter 195 - 195 Disparate Viewpoint (Muscular)

195 Disparate Viewpoint (Muscular)

Going back a few moments before the muscular humanoid demon had successfully escaped from Blake’s grasp and sent Blake flying using an uppercut, the muscular humanoid demon was biding his time, waiting for the exact perfect moment where he could exert out his last ditch effort to survive.

He might have been stuck under a powerful binding spell that prevented him from utilizing his full strength- or rather, any of his strength at all. A twitch of a finger was the only thing that he was capable of doing.

However, that did not mean that the muscular humanoid demon didn’t have any strength left in his body. Instead of being wasted of his energy and nether, the muscular humanoid demon had only fallen into a trap because of his enemy’s unexpected use of rune formations and careful planning.

The muscular humanoid demon being trapped did not mean that his strength had been sapped away from his body. He had only used his bloodline power several times and did several moves using his body. With his capped out stats, both his physique stat and spirit stat was relatively high although his physique stat definitely took the trophy for being number one in the total amount of stats that had been automatically assigned to his body.

Unlike Blake, who had the ability to dump all his unused stats to his spirit stat, the other demons had their stats automatically assigned by their body without their consciousness taking part in it. And it was very unlikely that the body would be assigning all 5 unused stats that it got after a level up to just one stat completely.

A ratio of 4:1 was possible, but 5 : 0 was very unlikely to happen due to the basic explanation that Vera gave Blake about the body needing to keep up with the spirit’s growth lest they want the harsh nether environment in the deeper realms to break their body just simply from existing. The unconscious function of the distribution of status points certainly would not want the demons died because of such a mistake

Blake was aware of it, hence he kept putting points into his physique stat at least two points to it, despite him knowing that he would probably get more benefits if he dumped all his unused stats into his spirit stat, even possibly giving him the ability to cast a second realm spell twice.

However, he knew that such a thing would be foolish considering Vera already told him about his body needing to be at least formidable enough that he wouldn’t be killed by a stray attack of a strong demonic beast that could uproot a large chunk of a forest with a single attack.

If he could at least do that, then it would be a small guarantee that his body would be able to survive just fine in the next demon realm that he would sooner or later descend to.

.....

And the muscular humanoid demon still had a lot of juice left in his tank, both his body and nether were still far from exhausted despite him not having the ability to use either of them now due to the darkness tendrils latching onto his body from top to bottom from almost all possible angles.

He might be able to use his nether and activate his bloodline power, but without having the ability to move his body parts, the bloodline power would become useless as it needed his body to make contact with the target for it to work.

And when Blake added even more restrictions with the dark earth constructs, despair and hopelessness began to creep up higher in the muscular humanoid demon’s mind as the thought of escaping became further and further away with more and more restrictions put into his body.

Hence why the absence of any kind of retaliation from the muscular humanoid demon, be it physical or vocal, the muscular humanoid demon tried keeping all his strength stored in his body if that moment when a chance of escaping ever come, he would pour all his remaining strength into that effort.

Although his mind was still in a high alert state, the muscular humanoid demon already half-accepted that the slim chance that he hoped would come probably would not come when he heard the urgentness in Blake’s voice, ordering his two henchmen to prepare to do something.

Soon, the sight of the familiar dark flame bullet then entered his eyes once again, growing bigger and bigger as his head was forced to stay still and look upward was currently staring at the human-fireball variant demon and the jet-black humanoid demon standing beside each other, pouring their nether and combining their attack together.

The muscular humanoid demon was ready to risk it all to try and grasp that small chance that he didn’t would come at all before the dark flame bullet was released from the duo’s control, but in the end, his eyes regained the sliver of hope that almost died out completely.

With his two eyes locked on the dark flame that was ever increasing in the density of nether, telling him that he would definitely be obliterated into countless pieces if that dark flame bundle ever hit his body without any cover, another thought other than death had entered the muscular humanoid demon’s mind.

Remembering the nature of the dark flame that burned everything that it touched, the darkness tendrils that latched onto his body, and his own bloodline power that could get rid of the dark flame by directly colliding with it, the last ditch attempt opportunity that the muscular humanoid demon had hoped of stumbling into had finally come to him.

While Blake and Crya were still pouring even more of their nether inside the dark flame bullet, the muscular humanoid demon also controlled his own nether to move to the inscriptions in his body, powering his bloodline power to activate once again.

By the time the nether in his body had fallen to about 30 percent capacity, and an abundant amount of nether in his body had been turned to his bloodline power, it was also the moment where Blake shouted his instructions to Cyra, telling her to let go of the dark flame bundle when he told her to.

As if using Blake’s voice as a signal, the muscular humanoid demon poured in even more nether from his heart to his body, squeezing out as much of his bloodline power ability as possible before he then transferred those white light that came out of his bloodline power to the other part of his body, away from his back.

The muscular humanoid demon had used the ability several times by sending the white glow to his arms, but now, he didn’t send the white light to his arms, instead, he sent it to the last exposed part of his body that wasn’t covered by the dark earth constructs.

It was none other than his head that was squeezed from all directions by the diagonal earth walls.

“Now!” Blake’s loud shout in the demonic language traveled to the muscular humanoid demon’s ear, becoming a blaring buzzer telling the muscular humanoid demon to brace himself.

With the white light fully covering his head, the muscular humanoid demon then fully braced for impact as the very condensed dark flame bullet headed straight to his glowing head.

The next scene in Blake’s senses was none other than a resounding boom that was so loud that it felt like the sound was blocking out all of his other senses, making his hands reflexively cover his ears.

However, for the muscular humanoid demon, it was a whole different experience. All kinds of feelings assaulted him as he felt a large force knocking on his skull, threatening to break his neck if not breaking the skull itself.

The white light that had not failed once in dissipating the dark flame once again did its job as they had successfully whittled down the strength of the dark flame, making it strong enough to make the muscular humanoid demon’s skull about to crack, but actually not strong enough to do it.

But still, his bloodline power, more particularly, the amount of nether that he poured into his bloodline power was still not enough to completely dissipate all the force from the bundle of dark flame that had been injected with a ridiculous amount of nether, resulting in the dark flame bullet still making the loudest explosion when it hit the dark earth constructs that covered the muscular humanoid demon’s body.

However, that was exactly what the muscular humanoid demon wanted to happen.

And the thundering noise of something did not necessarily mean the strength of the attack was overwhelming. However, it was the case this time, and the dark earth wall that had pinched his neck from all sides had actually broken apart, making a man-sized hole that the muscular humanoid demon’s body can squeeze out to.

But the muscular humanoid demon didn’t try to do anything yet as he knew that his attempt would still end up in a failure if he did try to forcefully squeeze his body out at that moment.

He waited patiently, keeping his mouth shut and his body as still as possible despite the dark flame that he had avoided like a plague a few moments ago was now crawling in his body, slowly but surely eating his body to his bones.

But his body wasn’t the only thing that the dark flame had eaten. The darkness tendrils that latched onto his body had also been eaten away by those sinister dark flames.
