Davis also stopped laughing as he focused his gaze on Vereina, causing her to completely hide behind Katherine before he chuckled and looked away, knowing that she felt slightly threatened even though he was only desensitizing himself to the confidence that every woman was after him in a romantic way.

The only things he wanted from them were love, care, and loyalty. Davis chuckled at her as he couldn't help but feel that she explained it aptly.

Indeed, Mingzhi was the most aware when it came to the emotions of his harem and wanting to learn Heart Intent, she did go around speaking with everyone when she had the chance, but the emotions she garnered from them were so confusing that it was like a circle, at one moment, wanting Davis, and at another moment, wanting him to remain free of bind and sometimes, even slightly angry at him for not coming to see them.

Davis laughed at her comprehension ability, which was off the charts, while he also felt that she was better as a big sister than Evelynn was- purely because of her ability to comprehend Heart Intent.
