Chapter 848: I Made You Wait...

Natalya didn't want to be belittled by someone she thought as her life and her future, but more than that, she didn't want to disappoint him, neither did she want to witness his sigh that almost looked like he was getting tired of her.

It felt excruciating in her heart to even hear it.

Davis didn't understand what kind of thoughts in her head led her to cry, and he felt that women were incomprehensible sometimes. He didn't think his typical sigh would harm her, and it usually wouldn't, but combined with the fact that he had educated her, made it seem like he was tired of her.

Sighing had already seeped deep into his soul from his past life as Tian Long. It was already a habit that every time he felt that a matter was over, even if it was small, he would do sigh in relief.

Nevertheless, hearing her question, Davis shook his head.

"You're lying..." Tears almost fell out of Natalya's eyes.

Davis became slightly awkward, "I didn't think you were dumb. I thought you were just ignorant..."

Natalya became taken aback.

Ignorant... It was unknown how long had passed to Natalya, but this word resounded in her mind until it snapped, making it come out of her reverie.

Last time, Davis had explained to her about Yin Laws that it was one of the Greater Laws, and to be skilled in comprehending it, he praised her as 'not an ordinary' person, which made her very pleased.

But after that, she made no progress in learning what exactly is Greater Laws. This was her ignorance, and if it could be equated to sin, she could be said to be slothful. Not only did she depend upon Davis for resources, but she was also waiting for him to teach everything to her rather than taking the initiative to learn.

Natalya's brain trembled from this feeling of being useless and ignorant.

She instantly grabbed his shoulders as her moist eyes became teary as her tears fell, "I swear I will learn about many things and become useful to you..."

"That's why... That's why..." She sniffled as her voice quivered, "Please don't sigh as if you're tired of me..."

Davis's heart trembled.

He finally understood what made her feel like this... Really, if Evelynn, Natalya, and Princess Isabella became tired of him for one day, then even he would be feeling down for that entire day. Sometimes, the expressions that your loved ones make to you alone have the capability to drive a wedge or strengthen the relationship.

He felt what he subconsciously did was irresponsible.

He was about to sigh when he remembered that this was the root cause for Natalya's hurt expression, even if it was a misunderstanding.

Davis knew that he couldn't easily get rid of his 'sighing' disease, but he etched it in his mind to get rid of it as much as possible.

Princess Isabella had once indirectly pointed out that he was too protective of them and didn't let them grow up. This also made him somewhat realize that he lacked consideration for their mental well-being.

Natalya's eyes shook as she heard those words that she didn't hear at all in the past. Tears fell out of her eyes like raindrops as she stared at him with a quivering yet content smile.

"You finally said it..."

She was unable to control her tears from falling down her cheeks.

"I made you wait..." Davis awkwardly replied.

Indeed, he realized that he never said those words 'I love you' before to her, even after he married her. Perhaps, he wanted to be true to himself, so he never said that to her until he really thought that way. He didn't know when he came to truly love her, but when he thought of conveying his thoughts, those endearing words came out without hesitation.

Natalya slightly shook her head as her hands reached out to cup his cheeks. Their heartbeats reverberated towards each other's body, their lips connected as they started making out before it was a given that it would dwell into a passionate lovemaking session.

Their tongues swayed as if dancing and their lips stuck greedily, feeling each other's taste and softness.

Natalya didn't let him go as she tightly held his neck. She pushed his head towards her, wanting him to be hers for the moment. She greedily kissed, licked, and sucked while Davis did the same, not letting her take the upper hand.
