Chapter 3.2. Goblin

The man nods and checks his surroundings, saying that the man was quite a mobster. Sakimori’s eyes glow in the darkness, and he spots the demon hiding.

“They’re already here. Those lookouts, it looks like they got lucky.”

A little later, they would have been dead. Sakimori can see the goblins hiding in the forest grass in front of this field.

“Well, Shizuku-san? Is it your turn today?”

[As far as I can see, it doesn’t look like it. But there are a lot of them, so you should be careful. I hope they don’t turn you into dinner like they did the other night?]

“That one, huh? The mole that was burrowing in the ground is bad. I didn’t expect to get my leg gouged off with a single blow. The name of the mole is not a joke. Those guys deserve the name dragon.”

The old man talks lightly. While he was showing the suspiciousness of talking to himself when no one was around, an arrow stuck in front of his face with a toss. A crude arrow with no arrow feathers rests in mid-air.

It would be difficult for such a fragile arrow to fly straight. However, just like that, the arrow stuck right in front of Sakimori’s face. As if they were a wall.

“Archery skills, huh?”

Seeing the arrow flying unnaturally straight, the old man squints his eyes.

After decades of combat, the old man understands something. The enemy has skills, too. Skill greatly compensates for that technique. For example, a rusty knife with a sword skill can make an ordinary cut. With archery skills, even a crude stick-like arrow can fly straight. And so on.

Maybe the skill level is 1 or 2. If it’s more than that, Sakimori expects it to be able to deliver a more powerful blow.

“But it doesn’t seem to work with my shadow magic. [Shadow Barrier] is as thin as a piece of cardboard, but it’s enough to keep out arrows.”

It’s about the size of a piece of cardboard, so it won’t protect against bullets or even melee attacks for the most part.

Sakimori approaches the forest, thinking that magic is really useful. Then, goblins, realizing their arrows were ineffective, came out of the grass with an ugly laugh.

The number is about 20. Unlike games, goblins have the same powers as adults. Moreover, they possess a skill with a skill level of 0. Don’t be fooled if it’s 0. It’s a little correction, but it’s not a clumsy swing like when people are swinging a wooden stick.

Its numbers and the same strength as an adult. With their slight intelligence, they are feared by all as a troublesome foe among monsters. If there is any saving grace, it is that they don’t use women as breeding tools. I don’t think it would be better to be killed. There is no erotic development.

They have the same strength as adults. In other words, it runs with its crotch, but it is surprisingly fast. Magicians will die if they get too close, so the old man generously puts his hand up and puts in magic power.

A volleyball-sized fireball is born in his palm. That’s the full power of skill 2. 1 is about the size of a fist. People can use the fire magic skill of 0 for ignition. The power of other magic is about the same. People can change the fireball shape by how much magic power they put into it.

[Fireball]

First, Sakimori shoots into the middle of the enemy. The fireball flies toward the goblin. The goblin is enveloped in fire and burns in a flash. Seeing this, the defender waves his index finger like a tact.

[Fire Snake].

In response to that magical power, the flames that burn the goblins branched out into volleyball-sized fireballs and wrapped around the surrounding goblins.

“Gya?”

“Gyagya!”

“Gyagyagya!”

The goblins suffer from the unexpected flames. As their bodies begin to burn, the protectors pour sweat from their foreheads and wave their index fingers. And the fire serpent attacks the other goblins with flames again.

As long as Sakimori’s mana is not dispersed, and his concentration is not interrupted, the defender can control the flames of a volleyball. Low-class goblins don’t have enough magic resistance to scatter the flames, and the defenders burn the confused goblins at once.

However, while controlling them, the old man’s mana is decreased. Even though his mana decreased, Sakimori burned his enemies without disturbing his concentration.

Some goblins rolled on the ground and tried to put out the flames, but it was futile. The goblin’s flames would not go out as if they got burned with oil. It takes magic or water to put them out.

Goblins try to grab the fire snakes with their bare hands to prevent them, but they are flames. There was no way they could grab it, and they got burned.

The goblin archer, who rushed out in a panic, was also engulfed in flames and burned. The old man’s mana was decreasing at an alarming rate. But since it’s decreasing by one per second, he had only about 20 left. But he was relieved that he had defeated the enemy in front of me.

“Did you see it, Shizuku-kun? Have you seen the God of Fire?”

And the old man was on a roll. He was smiling like a colonel somewhere, but then he scratched his eyes at a goblin that appeared with a thud as he waded through the grass.

“I’ve been having trouble seeing lately. That guy looks awfully big.”

[It’s not your imagination. It looks the same to me. If you have presbyopia, you can see better in the distance, can’t you?]

“I ain’t that old yet.”

While arguing against the auditory hallucinations that dissed him, he fixed his sights on a new enemy. Three enemies. About 2 meters tall. Their muscles are bursting.

The old man moves his fingers with a quick flick and directs the fire snake toward the enemy, but it only scorches the surface slightly, and when it grabs him, the fire serpent, which had been so unbeatable against the goblins, easily scatters to the ground. It was an arm caged with magic power.

“Did I do something wrong?”

[Wrong usage. Red mark. Please say that line when you are a Warriors].

Without time to return that line, the preventer mutters, his face tense.

“They’re a hobgoblin, aren’t you?”

Monsters with power people can’t compare to goblins. The hobgoblins were right in front of him. He was playing with the flag.
