Chapter 908

Chapter 908: After Lunch

The spectacular lunch ended with none of them could hold a fork steady anymore, well, almost everyone.

( She is really amazing ) thought Lyon as he looked at Lumina keeping steadfast pace. ( I want to comment on her bottomless stomach so badly! )

Lumina raised her brows before looking at Lyon with a frown, “Do you mind?”

“Nope!” Lyon quickly answered to avert disaster.

“I think I’m going to call it a day,” said Cecile before she stood up. She looked at Sylviana who was still sitting before smiling. “Thank you for hosting us, it’s really pleasant.”

Sylviana shot up from her chair and immediately nodded. “N-No, thank you for coming to visit us!”

Fei chuckled, “I’m afraid that my lady here is not really versed in facing someone as superior as, Empress Cecile.”

Cecile smiled, “Please drop the title, I’m not the empress any more.”

Sylviana raised her brows at Cecile’s words.

“I’m afraid that merely dropping the title won’t do,” Fei smiled wryly. “Many, many people regarded you as the empress, not just as status.”

“That would be troublesome,” said Cecile before sighing. “However, they can think as they please.”

“Fufufu added to the fact that you are also Lyon’s wife, it only enhances your being further,” Fei jested.

Cecile shrugged, “I hope that I didn’t disappoint any of them.”

“With your highness’s disposition, many had only dreamed to even see you,” Fei added.

Cecile chuckled, “Alright, alright, you can stop praising me now, my head won’t expand like my husband.”

Fei remained to chuckle as Cecile left both of them before approaching the woman sitting right beside Lyon.

She grabbed Selena’s shoulder before the latter frowned.

“Come with me,” said Cecile before letting the shoulder go. She then left without seeing Selena get off of her chair.

Selena darted her glance toward Lyon, “Darling, looks like Cecile has something to talk about.”

“Looks like so,” said Lyon as he nodded with a smile.

“En!” Selena nodded before getting off of her chair. She glances over at Sylviana before giving her a nod and then turning around.

( Wow, she is really cold ) thought Sylviana as she couldn’t even react fast enough to give Selena a response. ( Meanwhile, Lumina is eating like there is no tomorrow, how come she is not afraid of getting fat?! Unbelievable! ).

Kyoko chuckled, “Lyon, that new wife of yours…”

“Yeah?” Lyon raised his brows.

“I will say this in the most respectful manner possible— frightening,” Kyoko smiled.

Lyon could only smile wryly, “Hehe.”

Lumina put down her utensils right on top of the clean plate before courting all of their attention. She looked over at Kyoko, “I see that you’ve noticed.”

“Is that sarcasm?” Kyoko smiled.

Lumina snorted a smile, “I wonder.”

“Alright ladies, enough of useless fighting,” said Lyon.

“Hahaha, the savior is right!” Tristan answered.

“Miko thinks so too!” Miko nodded.

Lyon smiled before he said, “Oh right, that reminds me, where are the others?”

Sylviana sighed as she sat back down. “We have no idea, they can do as much as they please, they can roam or do whatever, it’s not like they’re obliged to live here.”

“Biane and her sister are currently in Heaven’s Dawn,” said Fei. “They are living peacefully, though not for long with your arrival here.”

Lyon crossed his arms and chuckled.

“There you go again,” said Sylviana.

“What?”

“Nothing,” Sylviana looked away.

Lyon raised one of his brows.

“You’re a cruel man, Lyon,” said Fei as she sighed and placed her hand on her cheek whilst her eyes closed shut.

“What did I do?” Lyon raised both brows.

“That,” Fei added.

Lyon sighed and muttered, “Woman.”

“Hubby!” Ryona suddenly leaped forward from her chair and crashed against Lyon.

“?!” Lyon got his breath stuck before he was pushed down.

Sylviana sighed as they watched them on the floor laughing at each other. ( Is she a dog or something? ).

“I missed you,” said Lyon before Ryona could utter the same word. His hand softly clutched the back of her head as he smiled.

Ryona’s eyes opened wide as her ears swallowed those words. Her eyes glanced at his face with gleams of everlasting brightness. Her heart thumped against his ribs as more blood fueled the veins around her face.

“Hm? Ryona?”

Ryona gulped before pushing Lyon’s shoulder down. She grinned, “Then, let’s do it, let’s make a baby.”

One could say that the entire dining room heard the void for the first time, tasting what Selena had been training on. Hearts were stopped except for Ryona and Lyon.

“Yes!” Lyon ushered his answer before he ripped open his clothes.

“Alright,” Kyoko uttered before she punched Ryona’s head.

“Guha!” Ryona got off of Lyon’s body with her eyes spinning around.

“Welp,” Lyon smiled wryly as he looked at Kyoko.

Sylviana stood up, “Lyon! What are you doing?!”

Fei had already covered Miko’s eyes with her hands.

“Damn, savior, you need to hold it in!” Tristan laughed.

Lumina grunted before standing up. She crossed her arms and gave a merciless look toward Lyon. “You seem to be forgetting yourself.”

“Hehe,” Lyon smiled.

“Honestly,” Kyoko sighed. “This is a heartful reunion but not to that extent, alright, be civilized.”

“Alright, alright,” said Lyon as he got up with his chest bared open.

Sylviana sighed and sat back down. She slowly massaged the spot between her eyes with her fingers. “You’re a hero Lyon, please act like it! I can’t believe Luna could put you up with this… speaking of which, where is she?”

Lyon laughed, “Well she returned back to her mother when she got the chance.”

“The Phantera Kingdom,” said Fei. “Well since you’re here, why don’t you visit Nostria Academy?”

“I will pass,” said Lyon with a dejected face. “It’s not like I have fond memory there anyway.”

“That’s where you meet Jugen and Luna,” said Fei.

“Yeah, but what’s the point if those two are not there,” said Lyon before his eyes turned solemn, “Besides, I have something, no, someone I have to meet.”

The atmosphere inside the room immediately fell gray as they looked at his expression. For many, he was a hero of unbound potential. His legend spread far more than anyone, even Cecile herself. For some, he was the savior and a miracle maker. He could bring back a cultivator from death, let alone those on the brink. However, for the first time in their life, they had finally seen something he couldn’t accomplish, an important task, an important debt.

“Savior, why don’t you and the overseer take a walk in the garden,” said Tristan. “The greens and fresh nature nurtured by hers truly might ease you up, no, it must be!”

“You sure are full of vigor,” Lyon smiled.

“Sir Tristan is right,” said Sylviana, “Why don’t you go to the garden, I will instruct that you shall not be bothered by even a fly.”

Lyon raised his brows as he looked at Sylviana’s red ruby eyes. His lips parted for a second before inciting the latter’s reaction.

Her face turned blush as her jaw made a slight tremble. “W-What?”

Lyon smiled, “You’ve grown.”

“W-Wha?!” his words only sparked a deeper color of red in the spectrum. “I’m older than you, stupid!” Sylviana clenched her fist as she closed her eyes in rage.

“Hahaha!” Lyon laughed.

Kyoko smiled seeing his spirit lift up again. “Shall we?”

“Can I go too?” Miko raised her hand and skipped twice.

“No,” Kyoko flatly refused.

“Aw!” Miko sat back down and put her hands crossed on the table before burying her face.

“Hahaha, this is adult talk,” said Tristan.

Lumina stood up, “Thank you for the meal.”

“Are you coming, Lumina?” asked Lyon.

“I’m not in the mood,” said Lumina before she leave the dining room.

“Oof!” Tristan made a wry grin. “She’s a mad savior.”

Lyon sighed.

“Alright, tough guy, enough sadness for the day,” said Kyoko before pulling out a pipe with her intent. She led him toward the garden after.

“I wonder what she is talking about,” said Tristan.

“Wow, you didn’t know Uncle Tristan?” asked Miko with a peek.

“She is full of secrets and mostly composed without betraying her bearing,” said Tristan. “It’s hard to tell what she is thinking most of the time.”

“You think she is trying to knot Lyon’s fate?” Fei covered her lips and laughed.

“Knot?” Miko tilted her head.

“As if,” Sylviana rolled her eyes. “The joke is getting pretty dry, Fei.”

“Dry you say?” Fei smiled with her eyes closed whilst Sylviana’s skin immediately crawled.

“I-I was just joking,” said Sylviana before she suddenly clutched her stomach, “Oh no, it hurt, I think I’m going to the bathroom first.”

“Let me check it first,” said Fei, “It might not be a stomachache but something more serious.”

“No, no, it’s alright!” said Sylviana as she scurried over toward the door of the dining room. “I’m sure I’ll be fine after one session in the toilet.”

“But—”

Sylviana immediately made a run before Fei could utter another word.

“Oh my, young miss, that was the lamest excuse I’ve ever heard, you need to do better next time,” Fei sighed.
