CH 63.1

“Yes. I can’t get through to him no matter how hard I try to concentrate. You didn’t hear from His Highness yesterday, right? I’m more worried about him than you are.”

Frowning, Prince Victor explained while caressing his chin. “I know. I’m afraid I hadn’t heard from Allen at all. There are only two explanations for when the communication bracelets don’t connect. Either the other person took the bracelet off, or it was broken. Knowing Allen, I don’t think he would ever take off that bracelet. I conclude that the communication bracelet was broken.”

“Is there something wrong at the boundary? I just find it strange, too. Something big must have happened for the communication bracelet to break. But I don’t think Allen’s abilities will allow him to be put in such a situation.”

Isabella’s anxiety grew even more.

She just had a bad feeling about it.

Isabella clutched the obsidian stone of her necklace while thinking about thousands of beasts pouring out through the cracks in the boundaries.

“I think I will have to go there myself.”

“Where?”

“To the place where His Highness is. He gave me a necklace for teleportation.”

“You can’t communicate with each other using the bracelet, and now he had given you a teleportation stone to hang around your neck? Allen’s something. No. This isn’t what’s important right now. Let’s just take the Teleport Tower and go. I will accompany you. I fully understand that you are concerned about him, but you might be in greater danger if you move recklessly without knowing what’s going on. If Allen sees you hurt, he might panic and not know what to do.” Prince Victor said calmly.

Isabella looked troubled for a moment, but she realized she was right.

Being impulsive might put Duke Kyar in a more difficult position.

“I should prepare so that we can travel immediately. I need to know what’s going on to relax a little.”

“All right. Go and get ready. I’ll tell Ria and Kyle.”

“Thank you, Your Highness.”

After talking to Prince Victor, Isabella went straight to her bedroom.

Ignis flew to her side while she packed her bag.

“What’s the matter, Isabella? You look very anxious!”

” I just don’t feel good, Ignis.”

For the life of her, she couldn’t explain why she felt this way, but she knew deep in her gut that something terrible had happened.

**

Isabella tried to communicate with the Archduke all the way to the Teleport Tower, but there was no response from the bracelet at all.

“You still haven’t heard from Uncle, sister?” Kyle asked across her in the carriage, and Isabella nodded bitterly.

“I’m sure everything is fine with Uncle. He is a strong person, so don’t worry too much.” Kyle comforted her, and Isabella looked away from the bracelet.

It appeared as if the role had reversed.

At this moment, it was Kyle who was acting like an adult.

When did Young Master Kyle mature this much?

“Yes. I’m not that worried, either. I’m sure nothing will happen.”

“Yes, I’m sure everything will be all right.”

Isabella’s dread intensified.

She memorized these calming words like a spell.

Upon arriving at the Teleport Tower, Isabella, Kyle, Ria, and Prince Victor hurried out of the carriage.

If someone wanted to use the Teleport Tower, the Imperial Household automatically downloads the users’ information.

The data from the South will be given to Arpeon Castle, while the North will be given to Rubella Castle.

It wasn’t a coincidence that Prince Victor would come and meet them every time Isabella went to Arpeon.

Waiting to use the Teleport Tower for thirty minutes felt like an eternity.

Finally, Ignis and the four stood in a circular space with complex magic symbols engraved on their circumference.

The mysterious symbols and patterns glowed, and in an instant,  their bodies were transported to the Teleport Tower in the Northern Kingdom.

Everyone hurried out of the teleport tower afterward.

Isabella couldn’t see any carriage from the Kyar Household when it was supposed to be waiting for them once they arrived.

Kyle’s expression turned grim.

“I think something is wrong. This had never happened before.”

The footmen should have been informed that their group had used the Teleport Tower to get to the North.

The missing carriage, which was supposed to pick them up, disturbed Kyle.

That also made Isabella nervous.

Did something happen in the North during their absence?

“Let’s go down to the village and take another carriage.” Prince Victor said, and the rest nodded in agreement.

Isabella was in a hurry.

As they walked briskly, Isabella murmured an earnest prayer for everyone’s safety in Rubella Castle, especially her beloved Duke Kyar.

**

Unfortunately, her paranoia became alive and turned into a reality.

The castle was flooded with injured patients.

More than half of the knights who went on the beast hunting expedition were injured and brought to the castle, and all the servants were busy running around to aid the knights shouting from the pain.
