With this in mind, Xuan Di decided to visit Pei Mi’s WeChat Moments to see if she could get some more information about No. 18.

As soon as Xuan Di opened WeChat, she saw a new notification in her address book.

It was a friend request from No. 17.

[DD, I was wrong. I will never ask you for a photo again. Don’t delete me.]

Xuan Di clicked to ignore.

A kicked-out fish would have no chance of coming back.

Not to mention that she now had a new target.

Pei Mi’s WeChat Moments was set to be visible for one month. But in that month, she only posted three selfies.

Xuan Di couldn’t find any information about Pei Yi and was a little annoyed. She closed WeChat and thought about the bet with Guan Jing. How could she add Pei Yi to her WeChat within a week?

It was the first time for her to fish the Three Dimensional* (real life) fish, Xuan Di didn’t find the way.

But it was useless to worry about such things. She must be patient and wait for the other party to take the bait.

Xuan Di decided not to think about it anymore. She took a bath and went to sleep.

When she woke up the next day, she ate some breakfast and sat down in front of the computer as usual. She was about to edit some videos when Xuan Jinyu came in and told her, “Your brother will arrive by plane at 5 pm. We’ll greet him at the restaurant at 6 p.m.”

Xuan Di kept looking at the screen and said in a low voice, “I didn’t admit him as my brother.

Xuan Jinyu was not angry, “Even if you don’t admit it, you are still brother and sister on the household register.

“… ”

A WeChat alert interrupted the conversation between mother and daughter.

It was from Pei Mi.

[Sister, are you free this afternoon? I’d like to invite you to tea.]

Xuan Di was still thinking, if Pei Mi kept quiet, how would she get the chance to meet the siblings?

She didn’t expected Pei Mi to invite her so quickly.

Xuan Di was perfunctory to her mother and went to the cafe to meet Pei Mi at 3 pm.

When she arrived, she saw that Pei Yi was also there.

He was wearing a Bluetooth headset and looking down at his phone.

“Xuan Di, come sit here.” Pei Mi greeted Xuan Di warmly.

Xuan Di sat next to Pei Mi. As she leaned over, she vaguely saw the man across from her looking at pages on the V website.

Pei Mi waved to remind Pei Yi, “Brother, Xuan Di’s here.

Pei Yi looked up and took it as an response.

Pei Mi smiled. She comforted Xuan, “Leave him alone. He’s always like this. What do you drink?”

Xuan Di ordered a cup of orange juice and asked Pei Mi in a low voice, “Why is your brother here?”

She picked up Pei Mi’s cell phone last night. So it would make sense for Pei Mi to invite her for tea.

But why did he come?

Alas, her damned charm…

However, Pei Mi winked and said, “Oh, my brother had an appointment with someone here. I hitchhiked and invited you here as well.”

“…”

Xuan Di felt her face hurt badly.

“I see.” Xuan Di kept a smile on her face. Every now and then, she would glance at Pei Yi from the corner of her eye.

Pei Yi wore a loose black sweater today. His face was immaculately handsome. He wore a silver earring in his left ear, which was inconspicuous but noticeable. He leaned lazily against the sofa, looking like a hero walking out  of a comic book.

Pei Yi seemed to sense Xuan Di’s gaze as he picked up his coffee cup. He raised his head.

Their eyes met.

Guan Jing had always said that Xuan Di had two weapons, the first was her innocent eyes that could not be denied, and the second was her seductive voice that one would be easily lured.

As for the voice, Xuan Di established a Fish Pond* (a group of admirers she flirts with ) based on it.

But as for her eyes… she hadn’t tested their power yet.

So, Xuan Di did not dodge. She generously looked at Pei Yi and blinked her innocent eyes. She even gave him a sweet smile.

But the imaginary chemical reaction did not happen.

Pei Yi slowly averted his gaze and looked out of the window without any fluctuation.

“…”

Fine. As long as one was bold enough, the embarrassment would pass on the other side.
