Chapter 96 Amusement Park: Rides

[Samuel's POV ]

After the meal, we left the restaurant to explore more.

The World Bazaar was like a trip down a 1950's American-style main street underneath a Victorian-style conservatory roof.

It was filled with different shops and dining areas.

We decided to shop here on the last day of our trip.

"Young master we could either take a left down this road to visit AdventureLand or right to go to TomorrowLand." Jenny asked.

"Brother, we should turn left, I want to see pirates first!"

"I think I want to see the futuristic stuff more, I heard about some film technology. I always wanted to see it." said Adele.

"Young Lady is well informed, It is called Circle vision. Circle-Vision 360° is a film technique, refined by the Walt Disney Company, that uses nine cameras for nine huge rounded screens arranged in a circle. The cameras are usually mounted on top of an automobile for scenes through cities and highways. The most popular film The Timekeeper use a static camera and many CGI effects. It is definitely a unique experience." Tina explained.

"What about you Iblis?" Karoline asked.

"Trains." She whispered; I heard it clearly while everyone perked up their ears to listen to it.

"Trains? I saw it on the map outside." I said.

While we were discussing, princess Kako stayed silent; it was not fair to listen to everyone except her, so I asked.

"Princess, what about you?" I explained and translated our conversation.

Damn, where are her attendant? They secretly left her to enjoy themselves.

"I also want to ride the train," she said sheepishly. She felt left out because of the language barrier. I decided to pay more attention to her in the future.

But with the majority favoring AdventureLand, we went toward it. A huge sign came into view as soon as we walked for a few meters.

"ADVENTURELAND" was written in bold letters.

For the next several hours, we visited many attractions inside it, from lifelike talking Macau to treehouses.

We enjoyed and roamed with our out-group while Tima and Jenny would explain things from time to time.

We made our way toward the pirates that Hannah wanted to see. She was excited, to say the least.

"Now, now, it may get scary do you still want to ride it?" I asked.

"I will be fine! Quickly! the boat will leave!"

"Aye, aye sir!" I exclaimed and gave a lousy salute.

Everyone began laughing, and we boarded the next one. Our group was large, but we managed somehow.

Pirates of the Caribbean is a water-based dark ride attraction at Disneyland that will become the basis for the highly successful film series of the same name.

"Will the film be made in this timeline too?" I thought as we entered the tunnel. From the corner of my eye, I could see Oscar and Karoline getting cozy in the back seat.

I shook my head and decided to focus ahead; Hannah and Princess were holding my hand, anticipating the start of the attraction.

"Wander a meandering alleyway within a Spanish fortress and board a small barge for a spellbinding high-seas adventure. Escape through a shadowy grotto past the ghostly catacombs of fallen pirates and swoop down a small rushing waterfall—your passageway to the Golden Age of Piracy."

"Wow, look at that brother, It looks so real!"

"Omg! It is so loud." Adele exclaimed while holding her hand over her ears.

"Yeah," Iblis was also alert due to noises.

"It was the largest Audio-Animatronic project to date and the last attraction in which Walt Disney had any involvement in the design," said Jenny from the side, to which the group nodded.

The ride begins amid glimmering fireflies during an evening abuzz with the croaking of a bullfrog; we could see an actual restaurant at the side where people were gathering for a meal.

A beautiful melody played in the back while the story unfolded in front of our eyes. No one was saying anything because they were immersed in the story.

"Behold boisterous buccaneers drunk on the spoils of plundering during a 9-minute cruise amid the Old World. Sing along as windswept pirates serenade you with their classic anthem, "Yo Ho." And even spy a sly Captain Jack Sparrow from the film series along the way!"

We visited,

Pirates Grotto, which is home to Dead Man's Cove and Hurricane Lagoon, this haunted realm recalls the struggles pirates endured on the open seas.

The Fort where we had to navigate through a shadowy bay, where a foggy Caribbean fort and a striking 12-gun galleon, helmed by Captain Barbossa, are locked in battle.

Town Square, a small river where we had to sail straight past a crowded marketplace of rambunctious scalawags gleefully bidding in an auction for a bride.

Burning City vividly describes the looters and buccaneers singing a song of jubilation as flames engulf a seaside town.

And the Dungeon where Jack is trapped in a jail cell, freebooters attempt to lure a confused dog within reach to nab the prison keys he has in his mouth. It was a famous scene in the movie which was yet to be made.

.

.

"That was amazing!" Hannah shouted as soon as we left the exit while pulling my shirt.

"Yeah, You screamed a few times in there."

We went around the stall to taste a few more dishes when Tina said.

"Should we head to the train station? It will be lunchtime when we reach the next stop. I will inform others to arrange it accordingly. "After the incident, Tina can now be sure that Samuel was fine.

Almost everyone; they are the kind of person who is easy to get along with. She also observed Jenny, who seemed to have similar values as her.

"At least, They don't have the feeling of being superior to others and are much easier to get along with than some other celebrities and stars I have hosted." She thought.

"Of course lead the way." Samuel said.

They also saw other rides, but due to safety reasons, children were not allowed on them.

However, Samuel allowed the adults to enter it whenever they took a break. Their faces clearly showed they had a lot of fun, but for some reason, Oscar felt even dizzy when he saw him yelling with cute screams

You could clearly see his head spinning.

The next stop was the train station. No one knew, but they booked the whole compartment for their small group despite having a long line.

"Is this all our seat?" I asked.

"Yeah, manager had decided to delay some of the passengers for safety reasons." Tina said.

"It was the right decision, we have to avoid crowd in small, congested places." Oscar praised the manager.

Others didn't care much; they were busy inspecting the train and its seats.

"Will go around the whole park?" Princess asked; Tina called someone to help the princess, which relieved me of my duties.

"No, It doesn't. Tt instead passes Adventureland, Westernland, and Critter Country. Only three sections of the total seven." Jenny replied.

Within a few minutes, we passed through beautiful mountains and rivers to arrive at our destination: Critter Country. We decided to skip the Westernland for now as we wanted a long train ride.

Tina led us to a secluded area surrounded by various plants, and as the lake was at a distance, it seemed like a great spot where you could see a wide area of the park.

"I don't see many people around here." Adele asked. They were surrounded by tens of people all through the day.

"We made some arrangements." Tina gave a vague answer.

There were artificial shades with tables and chairs arranged neatly, overlooking and pointing toward the scenery below. In the distance, Disney cartoon characters came out to take pictures with the guest.

"Young master, the food will be served shortly. Please wait few minutes." Jenny asked as she motioned us to sit down.

"It seemed like this scenic spot provides catering services," I thought as I felt something was amiss.

"Where is Hannah and the princess?" Iblis asked.

I looked around to see both of them missing; others also started looking around.

I got up to see several vibrant flowers at a distance. It seemed like a vast garden beside the small hill-like area where we were.

"I think they went to see flowers, they were also interested in them when we were vising the palace gardens." I said.

"I will look for them," Tina asked, but I stopped her.

"No, arrange everything here, I will go get them. They must not have went far."

Others started to protest, but I shut them down, Oscar wanted to come, but I didn't want to ruin whatever had been going on between him and Karoline. I had to assure them that nothing would go wrong before leaving to which they reluctantly agreed.

After gaining some distance from them, I activated my title to sense for life sources which immediately gave me some signs, but there were few more of them present. I could point to Hannah and the princess's signatures as they were small, but several adult signs also showed inside my mind.

I quickly walked toward them to see Hannah lying on the ground while the princess sat beside her.

There were two adults, along with a chubby kid towering over them.
