Soon the maid approached and poured the tea into an empty glass. Perhaps thirsty, the Duchess gulped down the tea at once.
“I’m glad you’re here for an interview, though. I don’t want to have an interview unless you’re from another region because the rumors are all over the place.”
“Please, this tutor needs to last a long time.” The Duchess made a groan.
The proud academy tutor quit in a fit of rage, and the good tutor quit in tears.
The shortest quit was an hour after we met, and the longest period was two months.
“She did seem nice.”
“She’s gonna cry and quit, isn’t she?”
“She rather stops the crying than be angry.”

“How can Abbey and her daughter be just as eccentric. I’ll just have to send you to the academy or the convent, meaning.”
What’s the big deal about dyslexia?

“Oh, and in two months, I’ll raise her salary by 50 percent.Treat her according to the aristocrats who visit their lodgings. We have to hold her at this house somehow.”
