CH 56

He was about to leave the ballroom alone.

His fiancee, Bianca, was nowhere to be found, and he had no desire to find her. He’d also been sneaking out of the ballroom because he was terrified the marks on his neck would be discovered by others.

Leonis’ handprint was on Fabian’s neck. Leonis would have strangled him to death if Celia hadn’t intervened (Leonis). Leonis could perhaps have broken Fabian’s neck.

As that realization dawned on him, he swallowed his dry saliva, but he couldn’t give up on Celia.

Did someone say a fish that got away looks bigger?[1] He was even more disappointed that she thought it was natural for her to be in his hands.

Fabian drew his collar back and requested that his servant be summoned by the courtier at the Imperial Palace’s entrance. The courtesans knew who Fabian was because he was Marquis Yersil’s successor and didn’t have to reveal it.

When the servant arrived, they would have quickly wrapped a scarf to cover his neck.

He intended to call the coachman and then return home. His fiancee, Bianca, was left alone, although he had little say in the situation.

‘I have a lot of friends, so they’ll definitely get me a carriage!’

Although the Duke and Duchess of Cardians had left, the ball had continued.

Bianca was relieved to see that the Duke and Duchess of Cardian had left. Although Fabian’s whereabouts bothered her, the Duke of Cardian would not have been away from his wife, and they are unlikely to see each other alone.

‘I’m not stupid…….’

Rumors had already circulated in society that the Duke of Cardian had sent a man to assassinate the Third Empress’s entourage when she sought to touch his wife. As a result, the 2nd Prince Phil, who had invited the Duchess to his palace, was also reticent, but Bianca wished he Fabian had come and spoken with her first.

He was enraged when he heard the Duchess’s insults, but then she had a terrifying thought.

When she stood in front of the Duke and Duchess of Cardian, she barely looked at the Duke’s face. She was conversing with other young ladies at her age and thought how they could greet such a terrifying person.

‘Now that I think about it, I don’t need to be upset, right? Imagine how annoyed I must have been to live with such a monster and see him the day I got engaged to Fabian’

Although Fabian had flaws in his personality, he was a handsome man. And he was the child of Marquis!

Bianca was well aware of her limitations as Viscount Rizalus. That Fabian is the most powerful person she can marry.

She wished she could marry the duke like Young Lady Montague, but it was merely a dream.

Those with the title of prince could not marry barons or viscounts. They were just positioned as a concubine or a mistress.

‘I can’t be satisfied with that position!’

She felt certain she would inherit Rizalus’ family business. It was because she was the only child in the family, with no other siblings.

When Fabian inherited his title as Marquis and prop her up, she planned to use it to propel her business to the top of the empire. Then her children would be able to connect with the imperial family.

‘But……’

Bianca looked embarrassed as she remembered being humiliated by Celia. On second thought, she realized those were not the words she intended.

Therefore, she was furious at the time when she said that, but she couldn’t stop thinking about it.

The Duchess of Cardian had a love affair with her fiance Fabian when they were engaged. She wasn’t sure if saying something like that was enough…… Is there anything more you’d like to say?

Fabian had not betrayed the daughter of Marquis Montague. At least in the case of women (cheating).

‘Is it because Fabian didn’t help her when she was engaged to the Duke of Cardian? She hates that, but……’

It was unavoidable for any aristocrat.

Of course, they couldn’t possibly stay engaged. Either they have a child together or they run away together…… It was possible if they were mentally prepared to lose.

‘Did she say it with that childish mind of hers? Who is the current Young Lady of Marquis?’

Just thinking about it made her laugh.

Such a foolish woman.

‘Not me. I was engaged to Fabian after thoroughly weighing the pros and cons.’

Bianca hoisted her glass of champagne and smiled arrogantly.

“What did you say?”

The imperial servant said again, his face expressionless, in response to the Young Lady Viscount’s indignant voice.

“He had already returned with the family carriage of Count Rowen.”

“That…..!”

Bianca started to raise her voice, but she was aware that there were other nobles and young ladies who were close to them. She was about to show them off her relationship with Fabian.

Given that Fabian had just broken up with Celia, such a comment would actually detract from Fabian’s point……  But she couldn’t help it. Because it was right after Celia Cardian said that.

“Count Rowen must have had a reason.”

Bianca smiled naturally at the words of a young woman who comforted her. Her smile was tense, but she couldn’t show her anger in front of them.

Because she had pride.

‘Why? Did I say I didn’t want to be followed around by you?’

Bianca knew what Fabian wanted from her. She was most likely following him around like a toy, hoping to take the seat next to him.

However, because of her relationship with the Duchess of Cardian, Bianca had become a laughingstock, and she didn’t want to make a negative first impression on Fabian’s acquaintances.

‘My choice is obvious! You’re the one who turned your back on me and walked away because I said so!’

As a result, his fiance, Fabian, had no choice but to appease her. That was not the case for Bianca, who was engaged to a man named Fabian!

She sighed angrily and looked back at the ladies who had a perplexed look on their faces.

“The Count appears to be completely insane. I’ll have to go back and send someone to look into it.”

“I suppose so. Lady, take my carriage with you.”

Fortunately, Viscount Rizalus’s neighbor, Young Lady Count, asked her of this.

Bianca thanked her on her graciousness and thanked her. She inwardly grinds her teeth to Fabian.

She was used to the warmth that touched her fingertips.Celia sighed, fiddling with it. It didn’t seem to matter if the man cuddling her was hot or cold.

“Celia…….”

Celia seemed exhausted yesterday, so he did not wake her up and instead placed her directly on the bed. He took off his dress and bathed her face before talking about how she was sleeping and how he couldn’t forcingly wake her up.

So he changed into her pajamas and went to sleep in her bed.

Celia was wriggling and fiddling with his chest, he didn’t know if she was sleeping or not. He then tucked her hand into his pajamas to ensure that it wouldn’t bothering her.

He didn’t feel uncomfortable, but his body was heating up as if he was in trouble.

‘Eum. You have a nice body.’

Celia felt comfortable as she fidgeted around in her sleep. Despite the fact that she was fatigued from the ball, she slept soundly till the morning and did not feel nauseated.

She was willing to do it if Leonis asked.

‘In the ballroom, I was impressed with how intently you listened to me.’

She was a little surprised when he grabbed Fabian’s neck and lifted him up, but it was good to put him in his place.  Celia dug into Leonis ‘arms, feeling the corners of her mouth going up.

‘You’re mine, you’re mine!’

Leonis’ face flushed as her palm rubbed over his well-built chest.

Patience has its limits as well. His lower body was already bursting with heat.

“…… Are you pretending to sleep?”

“It’s not like that…… Whoa!”

Leonis then took Celia’s hand, which was tickling him on his chest, and shoved it inside his bulging jeans. Celia shrieked unconsciously at something huge in her grasp.

“It’s because of you, Madam. How are you going to handle it?”

“Ugh……It’s morning, so everything is still bright and early.”

“Is this something that can be solved simply by saying it’s still early?”

Leonis, who hugged Celia and growled low, quickly took off his clothes.

As the sunlight shone through the lace curtains, revealing Leonis’ beautiful, fine body, Celia swallowed her dry saliva.

“Are you not embarrassed now? Are you staring at me too closely?”

“That… … Le, Leon is also staring at me!”

Leonis grinned as he undid Celia’s pajamas.

“I did. I wanted to engrave it on my retina because you are so beautiful.”

“Ukh…….”

Celia’s smooth skin was visible beneath her nightgown when Leonis stretched her hands. His firm touch pierced the thighs, which still bore kiss traces.

“Ugh…..Ah, Oh……”

It made him feel so good to see her embarrassed expression on her face and when her reluctantly spread legs.

Leonis devoured Celia’s lips, and she was laid flat on the bed.

It was going to be a long and exciting morning.

✦ ✦ ✦

‘I shouldn’t have let lust take over my body……’

I was so engrossed in those nice chests that I could feel them even when I was sleeping! Don’t get your hands on it! Even if it was mine, it was careless! Of course, I do not regret about the touch!

“Why are you sulking?  You were in a good mood earlier.”

Leonis, who had left Celia in the moderately warm water, asked while examining her mood.

They sat next to one other in a marble bathtub. Celia sat on Leonis’ leg, her back to his chest.

Leonis was extending one side of his arm to her, knowing how much Celia enjoyed it. Celia had a glum expression, but Leonis’ arm muscles trembled.

“If you had done it twice and stopped, my legs would have been fine.”

Celia’s murmuring caused Leonis to make a bitter face.

Celia’s leg was not injured because of her sex with Leonis. However, she felt it was too much and her legs were giving out.

“……I won’t apologize. How can I stand it just twice when you see a face like that? I can’t do that.”

‘What is with that face?’

Leonis smiled and kissed Celia as she looked at him in disbelief.

“I did. Your expression is what drives me insane. You look exactly like that right now…… I want to eat you.”
