「By the way, Gold-san, are you Khadar’s subordinates, perhaps? 」

「Feel free to address us by name. 」

Gold seemed to be chuckling.

「Didn’t we sign the oath with our names, right? 」

Silver seemed to be mocking my memory.

「Is it really alright for me to call your name? Never mind Silver, but even you, Gold? 」

Gold’s name is Auro, Silver is Kiel, and no, it’s not because I forgot your names that I’m being obstinate about calling you Gold and Silver. Why you cheeky — I’m going to drop the honorifics!

Kiel didn’t have the sense of taste probably because Auro mimicked him, and in doing so deprived that particular human trait from him. That missing part probably became spiritualized.

Contracts vary depending on how the human and the spirit encountered each other, as well as the procedures that will be included, but the final step is always the same. You have to name the spirit, or if the spirit already has a name that will be difficult to discard, you have to call its true name. By doing that final step, you’ll be establishing connection.

I then introduced them to the islanders, went around to check the wells as well as the entire island while at it, then returned to Nalluahdid’s main island.

Auro and Kiel will be visiting the mainland to hire carpenters and order building materials while fixing their house. And so, I decided to drop by the Commercial Guild to inform them about my proxies, and also arranged it so that they could use the deposit, before calling it a day.

Still, the main bottleneck in this project would be the ships that would carry the materials. Huge ships won’t be able to dock, so the transportation fees are relatively high. I think it’d cost me more than my initial plan, so I have to work hard to make more money.

In the meantime, I’ll sell this lamp at Nalluahdid. Then, what’s next? Maybe I can sell the enormous amount of white geese feather pillows and cushions I stored… Nah, they’ll come in handy once the house is done. I’ll be using them a lot for the rooms.

Strawberries should be ready to be released by now, I guess? Ah, but then, Ash loves them, so I often use them for making snacks.

I fell asleep still worrying about the right timing for selling them as well as the time and effort it requires to make them.
