CH 1

1. That’s too much

Amid the confusion, she saw a man’s back as large as the Pacific Ocean.

The solid, muscled back was covered with a blanket while his shoulders were exposed.

She staggered away from him, but one slight movement made the quilt flow down.

They were completely nude.

“Argh!”

So Hee fell off the bed and let out a struggling sound.

She was so shocked to see a man’s naked body for the first time that her face turned pale.

The sleeping man made a sudden noise and looked back over his shoulder.

His threateningly huge ass was revealed when he turned his head.

She shut her eyes tighter.

“What’s wrong?”

It was the first voice she ever heard.

When she opened her eyes, the copper-colored view in her vision made her head spin.

So Hee swallowed her dry saliva and hurriedly wrapped her hands around her face.

“Hey, could you put that blanket up? Do something.”

“What nonsense are you talking about?”

The man chuckled when he witnessed So Hee slapping her cheek.

This was a dream.

“Have you gone mad?”

“It hurts. It hurts so much.”

“If you keep hitting yourself like that, of course, it’s going to hurt. Ari, stop  that! Pull yourself together and come back here on the bed.”

So-Hee grabbed her swollen cheek.

What?

Why did that man call her that?

That’s so sweet.

“Ari, do it again with me.”

“What are we doing?”

“What do you mean?”

When her eyes widened in surprise as she looked at him, the man moved to the edge of the bed and smiled lazily. “Ari. You’re cute even when you’re crouching down. You make me feel sexually excited.”

His gray eyes glistened with lust as his large hand drew closer.

So-Hee gazed at his fingers when they reached out to touch her, and only then did she realize that she was also naked.

“This dream is insane.”

“No, this is not a dream.”

The man lifted her as if she was light as a feather.

The sticky heat that she wanted to deny came up through the gap between the surface of their skin.

Soon, the man put So-Hee on the bed and pushed against her hot body.

“Ari, I’d be so sad if you thought that our first night was just a dream.” The man continued, breathing heavily. “Joshua. I’m curious about what face he’ll make when he sees us.”

His fierce strength felt like he was squeezing her neck.

When the kisses on her face was about to touch her lips, she suddenly realized something.

“Wow!”

She stopped and pushed him off her.

“What is it, Ari? What’s wrong with you all of a sudden?”

“It doesn’t make sense.”

“What?”

Hearing the name Joshua made her grimace at the story that just came to her mind.

Joshua McKinley.

He was the male lead of her web novel, ‘Just Roll It.’

And this name, Ari, was short for Ariad Pearson.

She couldn’t believe she realized this just now.

“Wow! I’ve been writing 15,000 words daily because of the deadline. That must explain this realistic dream..”

“What are you talking about?”

If so, who was this man–with gloriously naked bronze frame and grey hair crumpling between his eyebrows–on top of her?

“Deon Filtmore?”

She took a deep breath and spat it out, her voice becoming smaller as if it was melting.

“Yes, Ari?”

So-hee knew the ending of this dream, where she had accidentally possessed Ariad’s body, all too well.

Although her novel was still serialized, the synopsis was already complete.

Deon had seduced Ariad, Joshua McKinley’s wife, to have sex with him and have his child.

Once Joshua found out about his wife’s betrayal, he would do everything to destroy both Deon and Ariad’s family, cut off their heads and decorate them in front of the castle.

She planned to kill Ariad so easily.

Why?

Because she was just a supporting role.

“Are we going to die at the end of this dream?”

“This isn’t a dream, Ari!” Deon bellowed, and her eyelids fell shut at his roar.

His voice did pierce her eardrums.

This situation was too vivid to be a dream, but what if it really wasn’t?

Did she really possess this woman, Ari?

After pondering about it for a long time, she spoke.

“Yes. Let’s finish what we’re doing.”

If this was just a dream, they will just have to finish what they were doing.

When would she ever do this with such a good-looking guy?

They should have sex.

She waited for him with her eyes closed, and Deon planted rough kisses on So-hee’s mouth.

Before long, both of their grunts and moans had mingled through the night.

* * *

With his head buried between her legs, Deon murmured. “It’s time to wake up.”

He had devoured her body day and night.

“I don’t want to wake up anymore.”

It’s a good thing to do it once or twice but having multiple rounds of carnal pleasures left nothing but pain.

The muscled, handsome man f*cked her nonstop without showing signs of exhaustion.

So-Hee grabbed his disheveled gray hair and shouted. “Stop! Stop! Stop!”

Deon finally raised his head when she suddenly pulled his hair out.

“Ari, just one more time.”

“Ha.”

Yes.

She used this madman with her own hands but this dream didn’t have to be similar to the novel.

So-hee hit her forehead hard with her right hand.

“Stop it. I want to wake up from my dream.”

Still, the dream continued even as she slapped her wide forehead.

This scene began at night until sunrise came.

Soon, a clear blue light poured form the window, shining brightly on their tangled, naked bodies.

“Deon Filtmore. You’re pretty good because I wrote you so perfectly. You’re a handsome beast to die for!”

“Ari, why are you saying such strange things?”

“But I think it’s time for me to go. Thanks for the good time.”

So-hee planned to wake up from her dream.

Perhaps, the window she was looking at would provide her clarity.

Would she wake up if she just jumped over there?

Either way, Joshua would cut her head off and die whether she jumped, but she still wanted to wake up from this dream no matter what.

So-hee got up to get out of bed, but Deon’s large hands pushed her shoulders hard.

With a painful moan, So-hee’s back was forced to rest against the cushions.

“Where are you going?”

His sweet, shining grey eyes from earlier now trembled with anger.

An authoritative tone followed. “Why are you talking like it’s our last time?”

“That’s… because it’s the last.”

He slowly increased the strength of his fingers that clutched her shoulder.

‘Deon. Let go of me while I’m still being nice. If you don’t, I will reduce your weight once I wake up from this dream.’ Sohee repeated with clenched teeth.

As she struggled to get up, Deon’s large hand grabbed her thin wrist and twisted it.

“Don’t tell me you just wanted to enjoy having sex with me and return to Joshua, after wards?”

So-hee shook her head in embarrassment. “No, no, it’s not like that.”

“I couldn’t bear to look at that.” Deon said fiercely.

“I’m going back to where I was supposed to be. Not by Joshua’s side!”

“Where you were supposed to be?”

“Yeah, I’m returning to the place where I belong.”

Deon’s fierce pupils dilated when he snapped in front of her.”Do you have any other men besides Joshua and me?”

“What?”

No.

Why was the story like this?

“What kind of brat—-”

“No! No jerks—-”

“Tell me right now.”

Nostrils flaring, she stared at Deon—-who kept interrupting her thought—in bewilderment.

Of course, Ariad was a character who just met this man and the rest.

No.

That’s not what she meant.

“Ariad! Is this why you’re away every time I visit your mansion these days? Because you are meeting another man?”

“Yes!  Ariad must have been busy meeting other men. But I’m not Ariad.”

“Ari, do you want to escape from me that much?”

Ah.

This conversation wouldn’t work.

They only talked about what they wanted to talk about, so there was no proper communication.

“Ari, I still can’t let you go.”

“No, you have to let go. I have to go back and end this.”

Deon couldn’t understand what she meant so he simply ignored it and and buried his head at the crook of her neck.

“I’ll do anything to have you.” He said harshly underneath his chin.

As she felt something twitch at the crook of her neck, Ari swore in her thought.

‘If I wake up from this dream, I’ll kill you right away, Deon.’

While she watched his grey hair moving busily from below, Ari kicked his huge c*ck to distract him.

“Argh!” Deon rolled sideways in unimaginable pain. “Ari!”

“You should’ve gotten out of the way while I’m still nice to you.”

So-hee managed to escape from his thick, sinewy arms and stood in front of the window.

“Deon, you were perfect except for that obsession you have at the end. It was nice meeting you. Let’s not see each other next time.”

Ari glanced down at the window and realized that the scenic  vegetation  felt distant.

It was quite high but  if she jumped, she will go straight to the goal.

Good. Good.

Cackling, she threw herself to the window without hesitation.

* * *

“Oh. Oh. It hurts a lot.”

She must have fallen asleep at her desk because her neck and shoulders were too stiff to move when she raised her head.

Snack bags surrounded her, and the contents of her web novel were displayed on the monitor.

So-hee just got a phone call.

“Is this phone call going to ask for a quick deadline?”

So-hee frowned when she stared at the letters “PD” on her cell phone screen.

Soon, she raised her numb arm and answered the phone.

“Yes, sir.”

“Miss. Did you change the story to comedy?”

“What?

His confusing words made So-hee’s forehead wrinkle.

As she stared at her monitor, she realized that she had left Ariad and Deon at a point of no return.

“Ariad kicked the man between his legs.” The PD read. “Why is there something like this?”

“What? I haven’t even sent you the script yet.”

“What? Then, how come I got it from you?”

“What? What are you talking about?”

“You sent it five hours ago.”

Her mind was a feast of question marks, keeping her silent for a while.

Then, she asked, “Did I really send it?”

“Yes. I got it and uploaded it immediately. What’s wrong with you? Check your mail.”

When she hurriedly moved her mouse to check the mailbox, surprisingly, there was an email she had sent five hours ago.

“So, what’s the story?”

“Ariad kicks Deon’s member and jumps out of the window all of a sudden. Wow.”

“Author? Uh… should I get back to you later?”

“Yes.”

So-hee blanked out for a long time as she stared at the screen in front of her while holding her phone.

The call had been disconnected.

In the monitor she looked at,Ariad and Deon’s R-19 scenes weren’t resumed.

After pulling herself together, she quickly checked the serial platform.

The comments section was a mess.

[What a waste. Why did Ariad kick him?]

[We all know that Deon was a supporting actor but what’s with this ending?]

[I heard that the writer is famous but why is this story a mess?]

So-hee turned off her criticism-covered cell phone screen and threw it into bed.

“This is wrong.”

This was making her crazy.

She couldn’t even get her head organized, too confused by delusions.

Had she written this novel while sleeping?

Had she sleepwalked or something?

Was it a side effect of the sleeping pills she drank a while ago?

After a long thought, So-hee suddenly raised her head.

This wasn’t the time to be disturbed.

The story ended with Ariad jumping and dying, so she had to go back and revise everything she had written.

Sohee opened the Korean window and typed down
