CH 11.2

I’m Ready, Just Give Me Your Body (2)

“If you win Joshua’s heart, you will get a lot of footage.”

Kelly’s scene was rather disappointing when Joshua carried Ariad away after lunch despite her excitement to go to the garden with Joshua.

The last sentence was a bit unusual.

[As Kelly watched the two move away, she clenched her fists and scowled behind their back.]

“Oh, my God. I’m sorry, Female Lead. I’ll introduce you to a better man.”

The author, who had created the heroine with careful attention, was truly concerned.

She wasn’t a pretty heroine who had been treated like a princess.

She had walked into this particular scene steadily, undergoing all kinds of deadly hardships.

But in the end, she was rewarded with one-sided love.

“I’m so sorry, Kelly. I’ll give you a cool guy that’s better than the male lead. Joshua is a total nutcase, so take this as an opportunity to meet a better man.” So-hee muttered to herself. Although, she wasn’t sure who she was talking to.

Since she feared reading the comments about Kelly, she checked the contents of the next episode instead.

So-hee had to cover her eyes when she stumbled across the 18+ scenes she did with Joshua and the main ones with Deon.

Why did she have to relieve her embarrassing moments from reading this novel?

“Oh, I’m so ashamed. Isn’t this too detailed?”

Each word was so obscene that she caught herself covering her face with her hands the whole time.

Still, she was a little curious about the content, so she used her forefinger and middle finger to open and read it through the gap.

“Her content was powerful so it had to be well received.”

When she got to the last paragraph, Joshua’s thoughts about holding Ariad in his arms as he tried to grasp his emotions caught her attention.

[Joshua, who experienced crushing on someone for the first time in his life, tried to control his feelings.]

After reading that, So-hee screamed at the top of her lungs.

“Wow! Ariad had become the female lead! It’s already confirmed!”

So-hee clapped her hands in excitement.

With a relieved heart, she clicked on the comment window to check the opinion of the public.

The response was also positive.

[Author, what did I just read? It’s so nice. I’m drooling while reading.]

[Hahaha. Joshua and Deon are both sexy, but I like Joshua better.]

“I’ll make even better content, guys. Just wait.”

So-hee forgot that Ariad’s body was beaten up badly and murmured so out of pride.

Meanwhile, the comments were divided into two categories.

Some pushed Joshua for Ariad while the rest of the readers wanted Deon.

Of course, Joshua’s votes were overwhelmingly high, but so many readers wanted Deon as well.

[Deon is delicious.]

{I want Deon’s underwear.]

Similar comments had been plastered all over the chapters.

[Deon, you’re not going to die like this, right? You’re not going to perform those R-18 scenes and simply disappear, right? Author, please save him. I had already invested enough in his story.]

[Somebody helps him. I don’t want Deon to lose to Joshua.]

[Please increase the amount of Deon’s narration.]

Sohee groaned as she continued reading the comments.

Of course, she could save Deon.

She knew what Joshua was up to, where and how he planned to kill him.

However, he might hate her for preventing that.

“No, I’m already the female heroine in this web novel.”

She was certain Deon would get some footage, and Joshua already had a crush on Ariad.

“I think I can do whatever I want.”

So-hee lowered her head and giggled.

“Okay, let’s have a good time.”

She sprang up from her chair and stretched her arms upward.

“Readers! I’ll show you everything you want! Just trust me and follow me!”

* * *

The scent of strong mint tickled the tip of her nose and Sohee felt like she knew where she was without opening her eyes.

It turned out she was in Joshua’s arms.

No.

She didn’t have to do this with him as soon as she woke up.

As she tumbled out of the bed in chagrin, a warm hand  above her head gently stroked her hair.

Joshua had hugged her tightly as they laid on the same bed.

Did the room’s atmosphere become stranger because of the darkness of the dawn?

So-hee had no idea.

She buried her face in Joshua’s chest and inhaled his cool scent, instead.

‘Let’s stay like this for a while.’

“Don’t rub your lips against my skin too much, Ariad.” Joshua whispered lazily, his deep baritone drenched in heat.

“You’re hard.”

Joshua chuckled and So-hee coughed in surprise upon hearing him.

Of course, his deep baritone surprised her but what’s even more shocking was the large object swelling in his groin.

“I know you’re sick, Ariad. Don’t tempt me.”

No.

This is ridiculous.

Why was she excited when they were just hugging each other?

So-hee grumbled inwardly and held her breath.

His waist was so blatantly attached to her that when she tried to increase their distance, she couldn’t move her body because it hurt so much.

“You should sleep more.”

Joshua glanced down at her and covered her wide-open eyes.

Joshua sounded so sweet in that moment that So-hee had melted and turned into mush.

Anyway, why was Joshua not angry that she was with Deon earlier?

He didn’t even bring the subject up.

So-hee had never seen Joshua express his affection to another woman, and it made her even more anxious.

“Are you not angry at me, Joshua?”

When So-hee asked, Joshua faltered slightly and stared at her.

“I’m angry, Ariad. But if I show you my true feelings, you might run away from me.” He replied calmly.

“I wouldn’t.”

“I understand why you went to see Deon despite your injuries. You loved him that much, huh?”

“What?”

No.

What was he saying?

Every statement of his evoked more questions in her.

It appeared like Joshua’s assumptions of her had been firm.

“I don’t care if you like Deon.”

“What?”

“Stay with me, Ariad. You don’t even have to like me.”

Blood-red eyes flashed fiercely in the dark space.

“I will not care as long as you give me your body.”
