127 First Night
While Yang Ning was panicking at the thought of spending a night with Zheng Liang in his chamber alone, Xiaowei looked towards the closed door anxiously and went to Yang Ning’s side.
She held onto Yang Ning’s hand and said, ” Milady, you must be tired. You should take some rest.” As saying this, she started walking towards the bed that was covered in red and white rose petals while pulling on Yang Ning’s hand.

“Ahhh! What is this? This is not water!” She frowned at the bitter taste and burning sensation left in her mouth after she drank the clear drink in one go.
“Don’t tell me.....is this wedding wine?” Yang Ning was speechless when she realized that she drank the alcohol that she was supposed to share with Zheng Liang.
She pursed her lips and licked her lips feeling guilty for drinking the wine on her own when she was supposed to drink it with Zheng Liang.
She cleared her throat and looked at the cup of wine with her lust-filled eyes. “Why does it leave an addictive sweet taste afterward?” She commented while staring at the wine pot.
Should I just have one more cup of drink? I am still feeling thirsty.
After thinking about it for a few moments, she poured another drink for herself and gulped it in one go as well. ” How can it taste so good the more you drink it?” She remarked and drank two more cups of wine before pausing in action to take a deep breath.
“Why am I feeling so hot?” She groaned and loosened the upper vest that was making her feel uncomfortable.
“There is still some wine in the pot. Should I finish it? Otherwise, it will rot if no one drinks it.” She pursed her lips and was about to pour another drink to herself when she heard the maid’s voices from outside.

“Your Highness, Her Highness is waiting for you inside.” The maids informed Zheng Liang who just returned to his chamber after seeing off all the guests.
Zheng Liang pursed his lips when he heard the maid’s words and felt strange when he heard that Yang Ning was waiting for him inside his chamber.
