Chapter 25

Andra was a novice at clearing dungeons. She didn’t know how to survive in the dungeon. In other words, they were destined to starve to death here until they miraculously find the entrance or clear the dungeon. A sigh filled her throat at the dreary and desperate reality.

‘I didn’t know that I would die like this without graduating.’

Her head hurts. After all, why do these things only happen to her? Lately, her life has been a total mess. It was already the second time that she fell to the dungeon. She had experienced it twice when other people have never found this difficulty in their life.

Is that all? After falling to the dungeon, she was stuck with the person she didn’t want to get involved with the most in the world and even had a nonsensical magic.

Andra ruffled her hair nervously, then she turned her head towards Dustin and lashed out at him.

“It’s all because of you. If you’re not there!”

Dustin frowned at the one-sided criticism. He also had a face with a lot to say. A heavy, subdued voice asked the question.

“Don’t be ridiculous. Why is it my fault?”

“It’s been that way ever since. I had nothing to do with you!”

The life of Avellin’s famous daughter, who was perfect from the age of eight, when she met Lord Airak in the capital, where she left the East for the first time, was twisted.

“Why the hell can’t you just not intervene in my life every time?”

Andra could be sure.

For Andra Avellin, Dustin Airak was only a stain. This was evident from the fact that Dustin appeared in every big episode of her life.

That bastard Dustin Airak! You damn Dustin Airak! Damn you, Dustin Airak! The unlucky Dustin Airak!

It was an awful relationship.

“Who do you think wants any of this? That’s what I want to say.”

Dustin, who had shoved Andra onto the floor in anger, looked down at her and said. When Andra rebelled with one free hand, he grabbed it and fixed her to the ground, and he continued speaking.

“You always intervened in my life, you.”

At first, he thought she was just an annoying girl. It was just that. But she was not to be taken lightly. Even after their first meeting, Dustin continued to bump into Andra. Wherever he went, Andra was there. Andra kept appearing in front of him and interrupting him.

“You think you screwed me up once or twice? I had nothing to do with you.”

Last but not least, there was Andra in the academy that he chose to go to escape. By then, Dustin had no choice but to admit that it was an ill-fated relationship. Andra Avellin, a terrible and terrifying relationship. When will he be able to stop looking at that shameless face? How long will it take to live his life without Andra Avellin?

“It’s still the same. Why do I have to be like this because of you?”

Also, it is impossible to define the anger soaring from underneath him.

His stomach twisted as the sky-like blue eyes stared at him with contempt. Even though it was a familiar look, it was difficult to bear. He wanted to shout at Andra right away. Don’t look at me with those eyes. Every time you look with those eyes, unbearable anger rises within me.

“You grate on my nerves. But I’m still patient enough to look after you, don’t you think?”

At that moment, Andra retaliated and answered strongly in Dustin’s face. It was like she couldn’t listen to that at all.

“A dog won’t be as talkative as you.”

Andra rolled her eyes towards Dustin.

“What do you mean? Don’t you think I’m accepting all your temper tantrums? If you have a head, use it. Who’s the one who’s caused trouble in the lives of others by acting carelessly?”

And like this, she can solve it now. Andra crawls out of the place, pulling Dustin off of her wrist with her magic. One after another, her wrists tingle as he catches her. The white skin was swollen and bare, just like Dustin’s handprints. Crazy, ignorant, if you only like strength… The curses came out of nowhere.

“In the end, all you have to offer is your ignorant power, don’t you?”

“You have nothing but that kind of pride.”

Dustin wiped the saliva off his face and struck back. The eyes of the two were entangled in each other at the same time. It was a mixture of hatred and disdain. Each time they used to look at each other like this.

Silence came for a moment. Andra was the first to break the sudden silence.

“Dustin Airak, did you say you were looking after me?”

A whirlpool appeared in the air, and she swept it. A sharp wind blew around them. The whirlpool gradually enlarged her body and began to swallow the grass and dirt. After a while it turned into a powerful whirlwind and started heading straight for Dustin. Dustin’s face was stained with surprise.

Andra said as she snorted, as if she couldn’t stand it.

“Then let’s take a look at this.”

The whirlwind was moving forward at a frightening speed, as if it was swallowing up everything. Even Andra had to keep her sanity in order not to fall over in the wind. Whoo! The ground was dug deep where the whirlwind had passed.

“Andra Avellin, are you crazy?”

Dustin rolled to the side, avoiding the whirlwind that almost hit him. He habitually touched his waist, but there was no sword. He was reminded that he had given up his sword before he plunged into the river. Damn it! He looked around, but couldn’t find anything that could be used as a weapon. In the meantime, the whirlwind had come close.

‘Would you like to try it?’

Dustin quickly drew the power of the Awakened into his clenched fist. The patterns on his wrists flashed a deep red light, and his fists began to grow very hot. He clenched his fist in the whirlwind that was about to swallow him.

Pong! Shaaa!

His fists pierced the wind, causing the whirlwind to burst in an instant. The grass and soil spilled with rainwater. Dustin turned his head to check Andra’s location. She started attacking recklessly. Did she think she would be able to beat him in the first place? As he took a step forward, the movement of the soil was unusual.

It was an instant when the dirt began to cling to each other and wriggle around Dustin.

As Dustin was caught in the dirt as if wrapped around a thick cord, Andra quickly appeared with a long string of grass and grabbed Dustin’s neck from behind his back. Dustin reflexively exhaled, choking. Andra had a triumphant expression on her face.

“You better surrender—”

At that moment, the dirt that wrapped around Dustin’s body could not stand and burst with his power. The soil was scattered like bombs. Andra unwittingly loosened her grip on the rope as the dirt poured on her, obscuring her view. Without missing the moment, Dustin used the rope strangling his neck to knock down Andra.

“Ah!”

Andra’s body flipped over into the air. Unprepared for that, she just fell to the ground. She fell back first as she touched the ground, and then her whole body tingled. But she couldn’t leave it here. Andra reached out her hand and called the wind, pushing Dustin wildly away from her.

“Ugh!”

Andra jumped out while Dustin was pushed out of his control. Her limbs were still numb, but she didn’t have time here to procrastinate. The fight with Dustin should not be delayed. It was a shortcut that soon led to Andra’s defeat.

In the first place, if Andra didn’t have this power, it was a fight that she wouldn’t even be able to compete in. Dustin was a man who was good at fighting as a knight, and his combative skills were also excellent. Andra, on the other hand, was just normal, with her stamina slightly above her average.

So Andra’s way to win against Dustin was to hit him and knock him out fast. She glanced at her wrist.

‘I have to finish it before the light runs out.’

Andra gathered her powers again. Several whirlwinds were created simultaneously. Because of that, the airflow became rougher than before. It was a storm. Andra’s blonde hair fluttered nonstop in the harsh wind. The five whirlwinds grew bigger and bigger and soon filled the cavity.

Whoooh—

The wind grew stronger. It was as powerful as a storm. It was difficult to control and steer all of the whirlwind, so even Andra herself swayed to and fro. It was even more so because it was raw magic, not ordinary magic, which needed to be set up in formulas in the head like wizards and infused magical power one after another.

Before long, the whirlwinds that swept her body all began to rush towards Dustin. Kuakakang! The mere movement of the whirlwind made a huge roar. Andra was swayed by the gusts of wind, but smiled foretelling her victory. Not even Dustin would be able to stop this,

Dustin, on the other hand, standing opposite her, watching the five whirlwinds rushing towards him, was fed up with her. Again, Andra Avellin, it was clear that she was not an easy match. Who would have known that she could use her power in this way? What she was doing now was an act that was close to suicidal, in which she could even get herself involved. But Andra did not hesitate.

‘You’re going to die, and I’m going to die.’

Dustin, himself, brought all of his powers to the end. It won’t work if he doesn’t strike back properly. He was determined to do his best as Andra wanted him. Dustin slammed a fist to the floor as the whirlwind came right in front of him.

Kuaaaangg!

The ground trembled violently with a loud sound that shook the sky and the earth. The wave spread like a gust of wind. Andra, unable to resist the recoil, slumped to the floor. A cloudy dust wind hit the area. Cough! Cough! After a while, a large shadow began to approach in front of Andra, who was coughing with her head down.

‘Run away, run away…’

She couldn’t open her eyes properly because there was dirt in her eyes. Andra reluctantly reached out her hand and pushed the opponent away from her. But the other side was faster. Dustin grabbed Andra tightly. His tight arms wrapped around her neck. Andra squeezed her strength and made a struggle.

“Let go!”

“Have you forgotten who started it first?”

“Do you think I will surrender to you?”

Andra kicked Dustin’s crotch. Thud! Dustin crouched down for a moment in excruciating pain, and as his center of gravity shifted to one place, the two rolled to the floor together. The skin was swept to the ground, and dirt and grass got into their mouth. But no one admitted defeat first. After a fight ensued, they were pushed to the edge of the river and fell straight down.
