[Hated Hero and the Berserk Comrade]
“How about we roast this Black Boar for dinner?”
“C-can monsters be eaten?”
“They are apparently well known to be delicious among adventurers, you know? And if I wasn’t mistaken, one of the dishes served at the academy ball used monster meat as an ingredient, too.”
“I-is that so…”
Jarvis and Tayte—unaware of Eureka’s abnormality—had a lively conversation, but… Eureka’s condition was clearly not good.
“Are you okay, Eureka?”
“I-I’m fine… you don’t need to worry about me…”

Sweats forming on her forehead didn’t come from the heat, and her body was shivering. She was desperately suppressing it by wrapping her arms around her body, but to no avail.
We had to get her to a doctor, and fast.

I clicked my tongue as I pulled out the Holy Sword, then dashed out in front of Jarvis and Tayte.
“Tayte! Look after Eureka!”

Noticing Eureka’s abnormal condition, Tayte rushed over to her. The Black Boar changed its direction as if to chase her back, but—

I sent it flying with a single swing of the Holy Sword.
The Black Boar slammed into the rock wall back first, slid down the wall, and laid down on the ground, completely unmoving. That shouldn’t have been enough to kill it, so it must have only passed out.
