[Jarvis’s Trouble]

After a great deal of persuasion, we managed to clear Cornell’s misunderstanding.

She had been so close to opening a forbidden door…

“Haah, it was a tiring day.” I sighed.

“Fufufu, good work? I suppose.” Tayte giggled.

At night.

Having had dinner in the cafeteria, Tayte and I worked on today’s homework in the lounge.

It had been our daily routine since I first came to the academy.

It was a time when I could relax blissfully.

“I will prepare another pot of tea.”

“Thank you, Marina.”

It was when Marina, watching our studying from the side, was about to brew a new pot of tea.

Knock, knock, soft knocks echoed in the lounge.

“Huh? Someone came?”

“Who may it be…?”

Marina tried to get the door, but I stopped her and went to the door myself.

“Who is it?” I asked the person on the other side of the door, and…

“It’s me, Jarvis.”

…it seemed the visitor was Jarvis.

“What’s up?”

Realizing that, I opened the door and invited her into the room.

“Oh, I’ll prepare a chair for you.”

“L-Lady Tayte, please let me-”

“It’s fine. I’d like you to prepare tea for Jarvis.”

“U-understood.”

Tayte and Marina hurriedly began preparations to welcome our guest.

I, on the other hand, was wondering if Jarvis had come to talk about some concerns plaguing her mind, seeing her slightly gloomy expression.

–My guess turned out to be spot on.

“Actually, I’d like to talk to you guys about something on my mind lately.” Jarvis began after sitting and taking a sip of tea.

“What is it?”

“Well… it’s about a certain someone.”

A certain someone?

……Huh?

I’d got deja vu.

“It’s about Andrei.”

I knew it.

However, I’d best keep quiet about Andrei asking for my advice. It’d be bad manners on my part if I told Jarvis about Andrei’s feelings for her.

“What’s wrong with Andrei?”

“…He’s my first friend at school, see.”

Her first friend, huh?

That reminded me, I only began to get close to Jarvis at the start of this school year. It seemed she had been friends with Andrei long before then.

“As a matter of fact, I’ve had a relationship with his family since I was little.”

“The Lekrusts?”

“No, me personally.”

Andrei’s full name was Andrei Fontana.

He came from a noble family that governed a small territory in the north.

So, I thought it wouldn’t be strange if Jarvis’s Lekrust family and his family were close, but it appeared Jarvis had a personal relationship with his family.

“We’re the same age, but I’ve always thought of him as my brother… however, he’s been avoiding me recently.”

“He’s been avoiding you?”

Tayte echoed in wonder, but… yup. I knew why he’d been avoiding her.

Andrei… it seemed you were going to have an uphill battle ahead of you.
