Chapter 85 The Paranoid In Tortoise Shell Technique

He felt a sense of uncertainty in his heart and couldn't understand what was going on, but he pushed those doubts aside and focused on the mission given by his master.

After finishing his meal, Bawang set off toward his destination.

In less than thirty minutes, he arrived at a desolate beach with no visible buildings or people, except for a nearby road where occasional vehicles would pass.

Zhou Zhengming must have put much effort into selecting such a remote location.

The Overlord had arrived and was eager to retrieve the item and leave as quickly as possible.

Thus, he began his search.

Using his superior vision and perception, no machine tool was too small to escape his notice.

It would only take a few minutes for the Overlord to spot a target as big as he was looking for.

Deep in the sea, with a water depth of 20 to 30 meters, two enormous waterproof packing boxes sat on the ocean floor, each containing a valuable machine tool.

Bawang carefully lifted one of the boxes in his powerful jaws and approached Huahai City.

Transporting both machine tools was impossible, so Bawang would have to make two trips.

Despite the heavy load, Bawang maintained a speed of over 100 knots.

Meanwhile, a massive shark weighing over 100 tons and measuring 30 to 40 meters long was enjoying its meal.

Suddenly, it stopped and looked to the right, thinking it had seen an illusion.

A massive object had just flown by at an unbelievable speed, and it was not a ship, as no boat could move that fast.

The shark was curious and wanted to investigate, but the object disappeared before it could act.

That object was none other than the Overlord, who held a giant spear in one hand and a packing box in his jaws.

He had encountered the enormous shark over 300 meters underwater.

Bawang should have paid more attention to the massive creature, assuming it was a blue whale, which can grow to more than 30 meters long and weigh over 100 tons.

Focused on his task, Bawang traveled seven to eight hundred nautical miles and arrived in Huahai City at night.

He swiftly went to the seaside warehouse, where he delivered the first machine tool.

"Master, the first machine tool has been retrieved," Bawang informed Liu Yong, who could see him and the machine tool through a third-party vision.

"Thank you for your hard work, Bawang. Rest well in the sea tonight and retrieve the other machine tool from RB tomorrow morning,"

Liu Yong instructed.

"Master, I'm feeling hungry again, but I'll have a meal later. For now, I'll take a good rest and head to RB tomorrow," said Bawang.

Liu Yong replied, "No problem, take your time. We have a few days to spare, so there's no need to rush."

Liu Yong knew the ship would take a few days to return to RB, even after transporting the machine tool. Hence, Liu Yong planned to hand it over to Zhou Zhengming in a few days.

"Master, I noticed something strange in the waters near RB. A few fish there are much larger than their usual size. I even caught a sunfish that weighed over a ton and a swordfish that weighed over a thousand catties,"

Reported Bawang.

This revelation surprised Liu Yong, and he knew it wasn't a good sign. "This doesn't seem to be a good thing," he said, voicing his concerns to  Bawang.

Liu Yong chatted briefly with Bawang before checking his mobile phone for news and speculations.

He came across numerous reports about RB nuclear radiation affecting animals and plants, including the appearance of massive marine life near the area.

Liu Yong was surprised to learn about swordfish and sunfish weighing thousands of catties and wondered if there were even more giant marine creatures out there.

His attention was then drawn to a report about the RB spider crab, which had mutated due to nuclear radiation.

This crab had grown in size and had become extremely aggressive and bloodthirsty.

It had attacked and killed 34 fishermen and 26 tourists.

Liu Yong couldn't help but wonder if even more giant and dangerous creatures were in the sea.

All these worries filled Liu Yong's mind, and he contacted Overlord again. He warned him to be cautious when going to RB the following day, advising him to fight if he could and to run away if he encountered any massive mutated sea creatures.

If he discovered such animals, Liu Yong was concerned about Bawang's ability to handle them.

Liu Yong believed in Bawang's ability to sprint, believing no marine creature could catch up to him. Bawang appeared calm and reassured Liu Yong that he was not foolish and knew how to gauge his abilities.

This response put Liu Yong's mind at ease, and he thought that Bawang had the intelligence level of a twelve or thirteen-year-old child and could understand the situation.

There was nothing more to say for the rest of the night.

The following day, the Overlord had a hearty meal and set off with his giant spear to RB again, determined to retrieve the remaining machine tool.

Meanwhile, Liu Yong arrived at his office and, examining Bawang's progress from a third-party perspective, noticed significant advancements in its sea exploration.

As he pondered this, Liu Yong also realized that Bawang had gained weight and grown a little taller overnight, prompting him to hope for its speedy growth and development.

Just as he was about to review some documents on his desk, there came a knocking on the door, and in walked Hu Shijun, looking flustered and exclaiming that Liu Yong needed to see the news.

According to Hu Shijun, a vicious attack had occurred on the coast of RB the previous afternoon, attributed to a massive shark measuring at least 30-40 meters long, killing seven people by attacking their yacht.

This news alarmed Liu Yong, as a shark of that size would weigh over 100 tons, more than three times the weight of the Overlord, and its biting power was formidable.

Suppose we take an adult great white shark's bite force as a benchmark, generally over 3,000 kilograms.

In that case, it is estimated that the bite force of a giant shark measuring 30 to 40 meters in length and weighing over 100 tons would be in the tens of thousands of kilograms.

The enormity of such a bite force would be intolerable for any marine creature. Even with the added protection of the tortoiseshell technique and a hard shell, it remains uncertain whether it could withstand such immense force.

Liu Yong picked up his mobile phone and perused the news report, which included several images, one of which was a stunning photo of a small boat being bitten in half.
