Chapter 105 Yet Another Discovery

As Liu Yong held the muddy object in his hand, he couldn't believe his eyes.

"If this muddy thing is gold, then such a big piece is too big. It is too big!"

He exclaimed.

He had seen gold bars before and was very familiar with their weight and size, with most weighing several hundred grams or one kilogram.

However, the object in his hand was estimated to weigh 10 kilograms.

Despite his initial skepticism, Liu Yong couldn't help but feel hopeful about discovering such a massive piece of gold. He immediately wiped the object with his hands, trying to remove as much dirt and silt as possible.

The mud began to come off as he brushed, revealing a glimmering surface beneath.

"It is cumbersome. According to this volume, what has this weight should be gold," he mused. And as the last of the mud was removed, his heart skipped a beat at sight before him. "Golden!" he exclaimed, "This is not what gold is!"

Liu Yong was filled with overwhelming joy as he stood amidst the murky waters.

"If I could laugh in the water, I would laugh out loud. I never expected to find such a surprise," he thought.

He couldn't believe his luck as he stumbled upon a stash of gold in the cargo hold of the sunken ship.

Liu Yong tentatively reached into the thick silt, wondering if gold was still hidden beneath. Surprised, he felt a few pieces of gold in the mud. Excitement coursed through his veins.

"Get rich, get rich!" he whispered to himself. He tried his best to remain calm as he collected over a dozen gold bricks and placed them carefully in the net bag he had brought.

As he exited the sunken ship, Liu Yong clutched the net bag in one hand and an extra-large flashlight in the other.

Once outside, he quickly washed and wiped the gold bricks before stashing them securely. As he counted his newfound wealth, he couldn't believe his eyes - 15 blocks of gold, which amounted to 150 kilograms!

Liu Yong knew there were still more gold bricks to be found, and he was determined to extract every single one. He turned to Overlord, who had been patiently waiting on the boat. "Come with me," he said, gesturing towards the sunken ship.

Overlord's eyes widened in amazement as Liu Yong revealed the gold bricks he had found.

"Master, you've gotten rich again!" The Overlord exclaimed. After a brief conversation, Liu Yong's gaze fell upon the giant spear in Overlord's hand.

He looked back at the sunken ship and made a decision. "Overlord, come with me," he said with determination.

As Bawang trailed behind, Liu Yong swam closer to the sunken ship and examined it intently. After analyzing it, he could locate the cargo hold where the gold was kept.

"Overlord, I need you to use your giant spear to make a hole here for me," Liu Yong ordered, pointing to a specific spot on the shipwreck.

The Master gave the command, and the Overlord, reinvigorated, plunged his giant spear into the ship with great force. The corroded vessel was no match for the mighty weapon, and a gaping hole was quickly created.

While it had taken Bawang a lot of effort to dismantle the ship, poking a few holes through it proved to be a breeze. The Overlord wanted more than just one hole and continued to jab at the same spot repeatedly.

Finally, Liu Yong called out, "That's enough, no need to poke anymore," when a massive hole appeared before him. Bawang looked like he wanted to continue, but Liu Yong intervened.

"What else do you need me to do, Master?" Bawang asked, eager to please.

Liu Yong responded, "Watch over the gold and make sure that no other sea creatures get near it."

"Of course, Master. I will guard the gold with my life and make sure nothing gets close to it," the Overlord vowed.

With that, Liu Yong quickly swam through the hole and entered the cargo hold. Although some marine creatures are attracted to shiny objects, it was unlikely that the gold would be taken away since it did not emit any light.

The Overlord kept a close eye on the gold and any other objects at bay while Liu Yong focused on retrieving the valuable treasure.

Liu Yong searched through the sunken ship's cargo hold and discovered a lot of gold in the silt.

"There is indeed a lot of gold in the silt in the cargo hold, and you can touch it with your hand," he exclaimed as he took out one piece after another and put it in his net pocket. After finding a dozen or so, he put the gold in the net bag outside the open space.

"Liu Yong, what have you found?" asked Overlord, his assistant.

Liu Yong replied, "I've found gold! These shelves were originally used to store gold. No wonder they are so thick and strong. When the ship sank, these shelves also toppled over, and all the gold bricks stacked on them fell to the ground."

Liu Yong would have missed these gold bricks without that lucky kick. He continued searching and found hundreds of gold bricks from the silt.

Feeling that there were many more in the muck and the large shelves were in the way, he threw them out of the hole and onto the open space outside the sunken ship.

"Well, that's much better and out of the way," he said.

"There are no more shelves in the warehouse, only silt and pieces of gold bricks," Liu Yong noted. He worked for over half an hour and found more than 1,000 gold bricks inside.

"If each piece weighs 10 kilograms, this is more than ten tons of gold," he said, astonished at his haul. "My God, more than ten tons of gold. How much is this!"

Fumbled in the mud with the net bag again but found only two gold bricks, and after confirming that there were no more, Liu Yong left with a sense of satisfaction.

There were piles of gold bricks on the open space outside the sunken ship. Some had revealed their true colors, while others still had silt on the surface.

"Liu Yong, what should I do with all this gold?" Overlord asked.

Liu Yong waved his hand and said, "Overlord, come here."

Overlord immediately asked, "Master, do you have any orders?"

Liu Yong pointed to all the gold and said: "Transport them all to the warehouse by the sea, you can't miss a piece, you know?"

"Master, this is a trivial matter for me, don't worry," Overlord replied.

After giving Overlord a few words, Liu Yong felt he needed to go up to the top to take a breather. He had been on the bottom of the sea for more than an hour this time.

As he swam towards the water's surface, Overlord put these gold bricks one by one into its enormous mouth, even if some gold bricks had mud on the surface.

"Wow, this is a lot of gold bricks!" exclaimed Overlord.

More than a thousand gold bricks were put into its vast mouth, not even the dozen gold bricks that Liu Yong took out first and placed not far away.

With a mouthful of gold bricks, Overlord cleaned the gold bricks with a few strokes, like rinsing his mouth, and spit out pieces of muddy seawater.

The last few mouthfuls of seawater it spits out were clear, and it knew that all the gold bricks had been cleaned. All the thousands of gold bricks had been cleaned in just one or two minutes. This efficiency was simply outstanding.
