Chapter 153 Cleaned And Ready To Go?

On an island without a name, Bawang wakes up to find that the sun is already setting and it's afternoon. After sleeping for several hours, Bawang stretches and feels content but hungry.

Looking towards the beach, it notices a group of seals and starts drooling, thinking they would make a great meal.

"Those seals look delicious. I could really go for a nice, big one right now," Bawang thinks.

Without hesitation, Bawang dashes to the beach at lightning speed and bites one of the larger male seals before it can react, relishing the taste of its flesh.

"Mmm, this is good. I need to catch some more," Bawang says to itself, feeling satisfied.

Feeling content, Bawang watches as the seals scatter and run away. Despite their speed, Bawang's superior agility and speed allow it to catch up with them on land, biting and devouring another big seal.

"This one is even better than the last. I could get used to this," Bawang exclaims, feeling delighted.

As most seals flee into the sea, Bawang enters the water, using its superior senses to quickly capture several more large seals.

"This is the life. I could eat like this every day," Bawang muses.

Satisfied with its meal, Bawang ignores the smaller seals and swims more profoundly into the sea to catch some big fish.

After catching some fish, Bawang returns to the shore but remembers its mission.

"New Fortune," and the crew responsible for cleaning the fishing nets reports to the captain.

"Captain, we've cleared up the fishing nets," one of the crew members says.

The captain is relieved that the nets have been cleared and announces it's time to set sail.

"Finally, we can set sail. Let's get going, everyone!" the captain exclaims as the ship's engine starts to work and the propeller, previously entangled with fishing nets, finally rotates again.

The boat slowly moves forward, leaving the island behind as it sets sail toward its destination.

Thousands of meters away, the Overlord watched silently, his eyes fixed on the ship as it sailed on the vast expanse of the ocean. He had been observing the vessel for days, patiently waiting for the right moment to strike.

As the ship sailed on, a figure known as Bawang emerged from the ocean's depths, swimming towards the vessel with grace and precision. He approached the ship quietly and carefully placed a few fishing nets near the propeller.

The suction from the propeller soon drew in the fishing nets, entangling them tighter and tighter around the rotating mechanism.

The ship slowed and eventually stopped as the propeller could no longer turn.

"What's going on!" shouted the captain in confusion as the ship stopped abruptly after sailing for a short distance.

The crew quickly inspected the vessel and discovered that the propeller was again entangled with fishing nets.

The captain cursed his luck and blamed the nearby fishermen for their recklessness, as he had already been entangled in fishing nets just two days prior.

"Quickly check what's going on," the captain ordered his crew, his voice betraying his anxiety.

Soon, the crew reported that their propeller had been again entangled with fishing nets. The captain almost spurted out a mouthful of old blood in frustration.

"My God! Why am I so unlucky!" he exclaimed, attributing his misfortune to the carelessness of the nearby fishermen.

"We have no choice but to send people with oxygen cylinders and tools to clean the fishing nets on the propellers. It was estimated that it would take another two or three days," the captain sighed in frustration, resigned to the fact that they would be delayed again.

Meanwhile, the Overlord continued to watch his plan coming to fruition. He knew that this was just the beginning of his scheme to take down the ship and its crew, and he awaited his next opportunity to strike.

Luo Maoyuan, the head of Risheng Ocean Shipping Group, was having a terrible day. He had just lost out on a major crude oil transportation contract to Universal, a fierce competitor. His frustration was palpable as he vented his anger in front of his subordinates.

As he paced back and forth in his office, his phone rang.

It was Yanguo Petroleum Group calling to formally inform him that they were handing over the transportation of 30 million barrels of crude oil to Universal instead of Risheng.

"This is outrageous!" Luo Maoyuan exclaimed, raising his voice. "What kind of business practice is this?"

He knew that this decision would have severe implications for Risheng.

The proportion of crude oil transportation held by his company in Yanguo Petroleum Group would be further reduced, while Universal's share would increase.

It was a significant blow to his company's reputation and profitability.

Seething angrily, Luo Maoyuan sat down on his chair, still fuming. His assistant knocked on the door and entered the room cautiously.

He could sense the tension in the air and knew his boss was in a foul mood. "Boss," he said softly, "I have some bad news."

"What is it?" Luo Maoyuan snapped.

"Our 'New Fortune' ship has run into some trouble," the assistant explained. "It sailed for only one or two nautical miles before getting entangled in fishing nets. It may take another two or three days to clear the nets."

Luo Maoyuan's face turned pale with shock. The 'New Fortune' carried over one million barrels of crude oil, and Yanguo Offshore Oil Group awaited it. "How did that happen?" he asked, his tone sharp.

"Our boat just happened to encounter a fishing net abandoned by local fishermen," the assistant replied.

But Luo Maoyuan couldn't shake off the feeling that Universal was behind this. "Tell me, could Universal do these things?" he asked his assistant.

"Probably not. If they have such a method, it would be too scary. It should be a coincidence. Our boat just happened to encounter a fishing net abandoned by local fishermen," the assistant reassured him.

"I hope so," Luo Maoyuan said with a sigh.

He knew that Risheng was in a vulnerable position. Losing the crude oil transportation contract and now facing a delay in delivery due to a fishing net could have been better for business.

"This is a stressful and uncertain time for us," he said, his voice heavy with concern. "I wonder how Yanguo Offshore Oil Group will react to the delay. Will it be like Yanguo Petroleum Group? If so, the proportion of crude oil transportation held by Risheng will be reduced even further."

His assistant nodded in agreement, "Yes, boss. It's a tough time for us, but we'll get through it. We'll make sure the 'New Fortune' arrives at Huahai Port as soon as possible."

Luo Maoyuan appreciated his assistant's support and nodded,

"You're right. We need to stay strong and persevere through these challenges. We'll do everything we can to make sure Risheng comes out on top."
