Kairen opened his eyes wide and looked at the person who had just slapped his face so hard that his cheek felt numb.

Kairen touched his swollen cheek and raised his body with a dejected face.

He searched everywhere with his gaze, but he couldn’t find him. Alan, Darren, Rai, and a few agents from unit 6 were also missing.

“He went back to the capital with the others.”

“To the capital?”

Team leader Dains nodded his head.

“That man. He gave him a list of locations before he disappeared. They went to check out those locations.”

Something like that happened. Kairen was dealing with that headache back then so he didn’t pay much attention to the soil dude.

Kairen bit his lips and hesitantly opened his mouth.

Kairen felt the strange gazes of the people all around him.

‘What? Can’t I worry about the person who helped us out so much?’

Kairen couldn’t stop worrying about him. He could possibly be his brother so how could he not worry about his health?

When the bomb exploded, that man was not inside Kairen’s shield. If he hadn’t seen him when the man was giving Kain the locations, he would assume that he was dead for sure.

But he was alive.

‘It is strange. He must’ve been burnt to ashes-‘

Kairen shook his head.

‘Don’t think about such things.’

He wasn’t dead and that was good news. However, not being dead doesn’t mean he was not hurt!

After looking at him for a few seconds, team leader Dains shook his head.

“I don’t know. I didn’t see him, you guys did.”

Grabbing Reyan’s arm and with his help, Kairen stood up from the ground.

“What about the capital? How are things there?”

Team leader Dains shook his head.

“Still no news.”

The fact that the prince was still here meant that the capital was not safe yet. And seeing the faces of the others, that didn’t look as scared and helpless as before, it was also safe to assume that the bombs hadn’t exploded yet.

“Send me to the capital as well.”

The team leader’s eyes widened at Kairen’s sudden request.
