93 It’s a Secret
As the food arrived, Bai Xi Xi began to eat her noodle happily.
The two girls had only gotten to know each other. As Bai Qi was the only topic in common for them, the girls continued to talk about him. Of course, Bai Xi Xi who adored her brother very much would love to talk about him non-stop.
Zhang Li Xue continued to listen to the little girl’s chattery and smiled. She could not help thinking that both Bai Qi and his little sister’s personality were too different.

Bai Qi glanced at his sister. A breath of relief escaped him when he saw that his sister was still eating her noodles. He looked at Zhang Li Xue again and shot her an apologetic look.

Zhang Li Xie waved her hand. “It’s fine. Doctor Bai, please, have a seat. Your sister is still eating her noodle.”
Bai Qi nodded. Then he sat next to his sister and spoke, “Xi Xi, have you been obedient?”
The little girl drank some soup before turning to her brother. “Brother Bai Qi, listen to you and stayed with Pretty Sister obediently.”
“Pretty Sister?” Bai Qi blinked. Wasn’t it Sister Zhang a while ago? When did it change to pretty sister?
Bai Xi Xi showed off her white teeth as she looked at the pretty sister.
A helpless sigh escaped him. Bai Qi stretched his hand to pat his sister on the head before looking at Zhang Li Xue. “I hope that my little sister isn’t making things difficult for you.”
“Of course, not. Your little sister is fun to talk to.”
Bai Qi raised a brow. He looked at his sister and asked, “Xi Xi, what did you and my friend talk about?”
The little girl glanced at Zhang Li Xue before turning to her brother again. “It’s a secret.”
The corner of his lips twitched. Bai Qi almost thought that he was hearing things when he saw that his sister was being serious about it.
Growing up, his sister would tell him almost everything. This was the first time that he had heard his sister keeping a secret from him and Bai Qi did not know how he should react to this.
“Xi Xi, you have a secret from me?”
Bai Xi Xi lowered her head. She thought about the matters she had told this pretty sister. She thought that her brother would not like it if he knew that she had told the pretty sister about their life.
“Brother Bai Qi, girls are allowed to have secrets with each other.” The little girl batted her eyes, looking all innocent.
Zhang Li Xue watched the siblings’ interaction and laughed. Bai Xi Xi was just too adorable. It was impossible not to like her.
Bai Qi heaved helplessly when h heard Zhang Li Xue’s laughter. “Miss Zhang, what did you and my sister talk about.”
“Mmm...” Zhang Li Xue looked at Bai Xi Xi and smiled. “Your sister is right. Girls are allowed to have secrets. Anyway, Doctor Bai, you shouldn’t probe into a girl’s matter.”
Bai Qi was starting to worry about what his sister had told Zhang Li Xue. But the girls seemed to have made up their minds and did not want to tell him anything.

The little girl nodded obediently before she lowered her head again.
If her brother did not send her to Auntie Ji’s place, then, she will have to stay home alone as her brother went to work, right? She hoped that her brother would not have to work at night. Although she was getting used to staying home alone, Bai Xi Xi did not like to stay alone at night.
