251 Let Me Spoil You

Zhang Li Xue went back to her place after picking up Bai Xi Xi from Auntie Ji’s place. She made sure that Bai Qi would have everything within his reach before reluctantly leaving.

Looking at everything that his girlfriend had prepared for him made him sigh helplessly. But, he liked the feeling of being pampered like this.

The phone on his bedside table rang.

Bai Qi saw the message from his girlfriend, telling him that she had arrived home. After telling her to have a good rest, Bai Qi put down his phone and closed his eyes with a smile on his face.

A certain someone did not allow him to move because of his injury. He was forced to stay in bed and stay there quietly.

The girl walked into his room wearing the same clothes that she wore earlier. She took a slow step towards him before taking off the white top.

His throat bobbed and Bai Qi found that he was unable to look away.

With a seductive smile on her face, the person slowly took off almost every piece of clothing. Then, she stopped at the bedside before climbing on top of him.

Later, Bai Qi opened his eyes and breathed heavily.

He looked around his room and finally reached to take his phone to turn off the alarm. His lips curled into a mocking smile. Bai Qi did not know whether it was good or bad that his alarm had blasted off before things had gotten too far in his dream.

However, that dream was giving him a headache. He wouldn’t know how to face his little fairy after this.

Taking a deep breath, Bai Qi got off the bed and limped slightly to the bathroom to take a cold shower.

When he was all dressed up, Bai Qi went into the kitchen to start preparing some breakfast.

However, just as he made his way to the kitchen, his ears picked up the sound of someone trying to come into the apartment.

A deep frown appeared on his face.

His little sister should still be in bed at this time.

Stealthily, Bai Qi walked over to the door. The door swung open and two pairs of eyes were looking at each other in shock.

“Li Xue?” It was Bai Qi who spoke first.

“Why are you here?” Then, both of them spoke at the same time.

Bai Qi shot his girlfriend an inquiring look.

“Your leg is still injured,” Zhang Li Xue pointed out. “Aren’t you supposed to be in bed?”

Bai Qi touched the tip of his nose. “Well, I thought that I should be preparing some breakfast before Xi Xi wakes up.” His gaze fell on the set of keys in her hand.

“Xi Xi gave them to me yesterday,” Zhang Li Xue explained. Then, she lifted the paper bags in her hand. “I worry that you might be hungry. I brought you breakfast.”

His heart was filled with an indescribable warmth. Bai Qi stepped aside and spoke, “Come in first.”

Zhang Li Xue put down the paper bag on the table before turning to help Bai Qi. However, the man had already moved towards the kitchen. She walked over to him and tugged at his hand. “You should have a seat. I’ll take out the cutleries.”

Bai Qi was forced to sit down in the dining room without a chance to decline.

“Why are you up so early?” Zhang Li Xue asked. “It was rare for you to have a chance to stay at home. You should sleep a little bit more.”

Bai Qi was suddenly reminded of that colorful dream he had earlier. “I guess, I got used to waking up at around this time,” Bai Qi spoke.

Zhang Li Xue heaved a sigh. She stood in front of him and could not help but to pinch his cheek. “Just sit down a little bit. Breakfast should be served soon.”

She turned around to take a few plates and cutleries. Then, she took out the breakfast that she had bought along the way.

Bai Qi looked at the variety of food on the table and tugged at his girlfriend’s arms. As she was facing him, Bai Qi pulled her over until she was seated on his lap.

“Li Xue, my ankle is already healed. Didn’t you hear what Doctor Qi said? It’s not that serious.”

“But Uncle Qi Zheng also said that you need to rest for a few days.” She leaned over to peck at the corner of his lips. “Just stay quiet. Let me spoil you a little bit.”

Bai Qi laughed. “Alright then. I guess I will have to listen to you.”

“Good.”

“But what if I get used to this pampering?” Bai Qi held her tightly in his arms. “Then, I might be reluctant to let you go.”

“Then, I’ll just stay and accompany you a little while longer.”

Bai Qi heaved a breath. He actually wanted to keep her by his side forever. But his little fairy thought that he wanted her to accompany him a little longer.

“I’ve been thinking,” Zhang Li Xue spoke. “Now that my uncles had found out about our relationship, what do you think if I bring you home and introduce you to my dad? I don’t want him to hear about us through my uncles.”

Bai Qi knew that Zhang Li Xue and her father were quite close. The only reason why she was worried about her father’s reaction was that she wanted her father to accept him.

He also wished to make a good impression. Other than giving his promise that he would love Zhang Li Xue and protect her forever, he could not give anything else.

After meeting Zhang Li Xue’s uncles, Bai Qi knew that Zhang Li Xue did not lack anything. She had a lot of big supporters behind her.

“Alright. You can arrange it. I’ll let you decide.”

Zhang Li Xue heaved a sigh. She thought that after meeting her uncles, Bai Qi would be terrified to meet her father. Fortunately, he did not mind meeting him. Zhang Li Xue leaned forward and kissed the man on his lips.

After a while, she stood up and took out the phone in her purse. She checked the calendar and her expression gradually changed upon realizing that soon, it would be her great-grandfather’s death anniversary.
