367 Pretty Sister Already Agree

A few minutes later, the students came out of the school and rushed out to their parents. The surroundings were quite lively with the children’s cheery voices as well as their teacher’s reminder to be careful.

Bai Qi stood straight in front of the entrance while looking for his little sister. Fortunately, with his long legs, Bai Qi was able to spot his sister immediately. The little girl bid her friends goodbye before she started to look around for a familiar face.

Bai Xi Xi spotted her brother after a while. It was rare for her brother to pick her up at the school. As soon as she saw her, Bai Xi Xi ran over quickly and reached his side.

“Brother Bai Qi!” The little girl smiled brightly. “You came to pick me up today?”

“Mmm...” Bai Qi patted his sister’s head.

“Don’t you have to go to the hospital today?”

“I’m on my off day.”

The smile on Bai Xi Xi’s lips became wider. Bai Xi Xi was just happy that she won’t have to stay at home alone today. Although she did not mind staying at home alone, Bai Xi Xi would feel more at ease with her brother around.

Holding the little girl’s hand, Bai Qi led her to his vehicle. However, after a few steps, Bai Qi made an abrupt stop. Then, he crouched down to get on the little girl’s level and smiled.

“Xi Xi, I have something to tell you.” Bai Qi held his sister’s hand tightly and pursed his lips. He knew that his sister would be accepting of this news. However, he was still unsure just how should he be telling her about this.

The little girl looked at her brother in puzzlement when he did not speak for a long time. “Brother?”

“Hmm...” Bai Qi tried to arrange the words he wanted to say to her. “Earlier today...” Bai Qi touched the tip of his nose and looked away shyly. “I proposed to your Pretty Sister and asked her to marry me.”

Bai Xi Xi’s eyes lit up upon hearing her brother’s words.

Proposing and getting married... was it what she had in mind?

“Then, what did my Pretty Sister say?” Her brother popping out the question was not the most important matter. What important was her Pretty Sister’s answer!

“Your Pretty Sister already agreed.”

“Really?”

Bai Qi nodded. “Un.” Seeing the smile on his sister’s face made him smile. “What is it? Why do you look so happy?”

“Of course, I’m happy. Brother Bai Qi, if you marry my Pretty Sister, then, she will be a family, right? Then, Pretty Sister will be my sister.”

The smile on his face turned a little sad.

His little sister grew up with only him by her side. But his sister always dreamed of having the love of their parents. He had always known that Bai Xi Xi always envied her friends with bigger family members. Seeing her so happy made him sad. He tapped her nose and spoke, “You silly girl. She will always be your sister.”

“Bother where is my Pretty Sister?”

Bai Xi Xi’s question snapped her out of her trance.

“She’s waiting for us in the vehicle.”

“Then, we should go and see her quickly.” The last time she saw her pretty sister was to visit her after that accident. She was missing her Pretty Sister a lot.

“Of course.” Bai Qi nodded. “Later, we will head over to your pretty sister’s place and have dinner with her family.”

“Brother Bai Qi, I know. I will be obedient and not cause you trouble.”

Bai Qi laughed. “I know that you won’t cause me trouble.” He patted her head again. “Later, you have to help me and win her family’s heart.”

Bai Xi Xi quickly agreed to her brother’s request. Her relationship with her Pretty Sister’s mother was quite good. Bai Xi Xi thought that it should not be a problem to help her brother.

The two siblings went over to the vehicle together.

As Bai Xi Xi entered the vehicle, her attention was already on Zhang Li Xue. “Pretty Sister!”

Zhang Li Xue decided not to mention about changing her seat to Bai Qi.

“Xi Xi, you look so happy. Something good happened at your school?”

“Pretty Sister, my brother had already told me about it,” Bai Xi Xi spoke. “You are going to marry my brother?”

Zhang Li Xue was startled by the girl’s question. She did not expect that Bai Qi would tell his sister about this. Then, she recalled seeing Bai Qi and Bai Xi Xi talking together at the side earlier. It turned out to be because of this.

She exchanged a look with Bai Qi and spoke. “You already told your sister?”

“Mmm...”Bai Qi nodded. “We are going to your place after this. I need to prepare Xi Xi before we go.”

Zhang Li Xue agreed with Bai Qi’s decision. They did not want to give the little girl a shock when she found out the news during dinner with her family member.

“Pretty Sister, when are you going to marry my brother?”

Bai Xi Xi’s question startled her. When Zhang Li Xue turned to the little girl again, Zhang Li Xue’s face had already turned red.

“Let’s take this slowly,” Bai Qi spoke. “Your Pretty Sister is still injured. We’ll discuss this again when she has recovered.”

Bai Xi Xi gave this matter a thought and decided that it was indeed better to wait until her Pretty Sister was healed.
