444 Not Allowed to Bully Me Again

After saying good night to her parents, Fang Su Jin went into her room and closed the door. She leaned on the door behind her and pressed her hand to her chest.

She could actually feel her heart thumping loud and hard.

A faint smile curled on her face as a face of a young man appeared in her thought. Fang Su Jin raised the phone in her hand again and sent back a reply to Zhang Yi Hai.

Then, Fang Su Jin ran towards the bathroom to look at her face. Once she was satisfied with how she looked, she then ran back to the door.

Because she was worried that her parents were going to see her, Fang Su Jin had to check on the peephole first. She stared at the quiet corridor for a couple of minutes. Once she was sure that there was no one else around and that her parents were not going to come out again, Fang Su Jin took a deep breath and opened her door stealthily.

She closed her door slowly before running over to the elevator.

Her blood pumped and her adrenaline was rushing.

Fang Su Jin thought that sneaking around like this was both dangerous and fun. She was now acting like a rebellious teenager, sneaking around to meet her boyfriend.

A breath of relief escaped her once she was finally in the elevator.

Fang Su Jin thought that Zhang Yi Hai was turning her into a bad girl.

The elevator stopped with a ding. Fang Su Jin walked out and began to search for Zhang Yi Hai. He told her that he would be waiting for her in the lobby. Then, using the access card on her, they planned to head over to the hotel garden.

However, after looking for a while, the man she was looking for was not around.

Fang Su Jin took out her phone, wanting to call his number and ask where he was. Just then, her ears caught the sound of a chuckle.

She turned to follow that sound and finally found Zhang Yi Hai, standing just behind the foliage plant beside the elevator.

Just now, she was too anxious to find him and failed to see that the person she was looking for was hiding behind her.

His lips tilted up to a smile. Zhang Yi Hai walked out behind the tree and spoke, “Pretty miss, are you looking for someone?”

Her cheeks puffed up. “Zhang Yi Hai!”

The young man let out a laugh. He raised his hand and pinched his girlfriend on the cheek. Before she could get angry, Zhang Yi Hai quickly released her again. Then, he grabbed her hand and led her back into the elevator.

Fang Su Jin quickly understood what she should do. She took her card and used it to get to the garden. As the elevator went up, Fang Su Jin swung their intertwined hands together.

“Su Jin...” Zhang Yi Hai’s voice reverberated in the small space. “Your parents did not say anything?”

“Fortunately, we were not living in the same room. I managed to sneak out.”

The elevator stopped and the two of them walked out together.

They walked around the garden for a while until they reached a quiet corner.

Zhang Yi Hai stopped on his steps. He turned around to face Fang Su Jin and stared at her for a long time. His lips tilted up upon noticing how her face turned scarlet.

“Why are you looking at me like that?” Fang Su Jin lowered her gaze to hide her face.

Each time Zhang Yi Hai was looking at her like this, Fang Su Jin would be too shy to look at him. He made her feel as if he was going to suck her into his eyes.

“Why can’t I look at you?” Zhang Yi Hai asked. “Su Jin, you are very pretty.”

Just like that, her face turned a shade redder.

Zhang Yi Hai touched her cheek and chuckled as he felt the heat on his palm.

“Don’t laugh.” Fang Su Jin shot him a warning look.

Zhang Yi Hai had to bite the inside of his cheek to stop himself from laughing. But it was really hard to control the smile on his face. Seeing his girlfriend like this could make him happy. He liked her smiling more than when she was crying.

Suddenly, Zhang Yi Hai pulled her into his embrace and held her tight. He let Fang Su Jin lay her head on his chest before speaking again, “Su Jin, I’m going to miss you.”

Fang Su Jin lowered her head and bit her lips.

She too would be missing him as well.

The two of them had spent a week together as a couple. Their world as a couple was still beautiful and full of colors and all the sweet stuff.

But tomorrow, she will have to leave for Y City again.

Fang Su Jin did not know when will she be able to see him again.

“We can still talk on the phone or on a video call,” Fang Su Jin spoke. She did not know whether she was comforting herself or her boyfriend.

“It won’t be the same.”

“You will return to Y City on your break, right?”

“Mhm...” Zhang Yi Hai nodded. “But I won’t be able to return frequently. I already took a long break the other day.

Fang Su Jin naturally knew that Zhang Yi Hai was talking about the week he spent in Y City for his sister who was involved in a terrible accident.

“Then, I can come over later.”

Zhang Yi Hai smiled. He pulled away and spoke, “Su Jin...”

“Hmm...”

“You really do like me, don’t you.”

Fang Su Jin stared at him with her mouth agape. She did not know how she should respond when Zhang Yi Hai was teasing her like this. She wanted to admit it but was too shy to do so.

Hearing his laughing voice made her annoyed. “Zhang Yi Hai, you are not allowed to bully me again. Otherwise, I will tell your sister.”

His brow rose. Zhang Yi Hai was amused by his girlfriend’s threat. However, if his sister heard that he was bullying her best friend, there was a big chance that he would be in trouble with his father instead. “When did I bully you?”

“You made me cry.”

There was a helpless look on his face. He did not deliberately make her cry. He was trying to coax her, but he still made his girlfriend cry.

According to what he learned from his parents’ relationship, Zhang Yi Hai could only admit that he was wrong. He hugged her tightly again and inhaled the sweet smell on her body. “I’m sorry. I won’t do it again. Su Jin, I will only like you.”

Fang Su Jin leaned on his body again, enjoying the warmth that his embrace could give her.
