453 Always do Everything Seriously

“Zhang Yi Hai, our classmates are planning on eating out together at that new BBQ restaurant that just opened last week. Do you want to join us?” Tang Jin said as he placed his arms around Zhang Yi Hai’s shoulder.

“No.” Zhang Yi Hai did not even think about it before giving his response. He gave Tang Jin a look and spoke, “Why do you guys like gathering and eating together recently?”

Tang Jin heaved a sigh. “Aren’t we in our final semester? We should be making our memories together.”

Zhang Yi Hai pondered over it for a while and sighed. “I still can’t join you guys. I’m sorry. Maybe next time.”

“Zhang Yi Hai, what are you busy with these days?” Tang Jin could not help but feel curious. “Everyone got the same assignments. I know that you had already finished a few of your assignments earlier.”

“I still have some work.” Zhang Yi Hai adjusted the bag straps on his shoulder.

Tang Jin was quiet for a brief moment. He had always seen Zhang Yi Hai working so hard and could not help but admire him a little bit. Moreover, he knew that Zhang Yi Hai was the son of the Zhang Worldwide Group. Even if he did not work so hard, he could still find work at his father’s company.

“You are so busy. Most of us are enjoying our last freedom, but you are still working hard.” Tang Jin heaved a heavy breath. Seeing that Zhang Yi Hai was walking out to leave the class, he then followed his friend closely. “Why are you working so hard?”

Seeing Zhang Yi Hai working so hard made him feel a little disheartened. As his fellow classmates, he wondered if he was not doing enough.

His coldness towards her pained her heart and she was still not over the heartbreak.

Hearing Zhang Yi Hai talked about his girlfriend and his plan to marry after they graduated made her suffocate. The young man was always so serious and cold. But Ji Xin Xin saw his face while he was talking about his girlfriend. Surprisingly, Zhang Yi Hai could show such gentleness as well.

His girlfriend... why can’t that person be her? Why can’t he show her the same gentleness as well?

After leaving his class, Zhang Yi Hai went to meet his lecturer to send an application form.

The two of them chatted for a while before Zhang Yi Hai left again with a bright smile on his face. As he walked out of the office, Zhang Yi Hai continued to thank his lecturer a few times.

Zhang Yi Hai let out a sigh of satisfaction, knowing that his plan might work. But thinking of what he was going to do next, Zhang Yi Hai also realized that he will have to work very hard for it.
