Fang Su Jin hurried outside to meet Zhang Yi Hai. When she came out, Zhang Yi Hai was in the middle of unloading some gifts from his vehicle.

Noticing her presence, Zhang Yi Hai raised his head and flashed her a brilliant smile.

“Mhm...” Zhang Yi Hai nodded. “This is the first time I’m visiting as your boyfriend. Of course, I have to bring some gifts along.”

Fang Su Jin looked at the gifts that Zhang Yi Hai had bought. They were nothing expensive, but she could tell that Zhang Yi Hai had put a lot of thought when he chose the gifts.

Zhang Yi Hai stared at his girlfriend for a while. Then, a faint smile appeared on his face. He put down the paper bag in his hand and stretched his hand to pinch Fang Su Jin’s cheeks. “Are you worried about me?”

Fang Su Jin looked at him helplessly.

She was worried. Very worried. But why is it that Zhang Yi Hai seemed to be very cool about this? Was he not afraid?

Although her father might seem as if he was easy to get along with, once he was angry, it would be difficult to coax him.

As soon as they walked in, the aunties who were working at the house hid behind the walls to peek at Zhang Yi Hai.

Previously, they heard that Fang Su Jin would be bringing her boyfriend for dinner. Naturally, they were curious to look at him. However, they did not expect that Fang Su Jin would bring in a familiar face.

“Is that Yi Hai?” Mother Fang came out of the kitchen and smiled. She gave the young man a look over before nodding in satisfaction.

“Auntie, hello.” Zhang Yi Hai greeted politely.

“Just sit down and make this place like your own house,” Mother Fang spoke. “This isn’t the first time that you came to visit our house.”

“Thank you.” Zhang Yi Hai glanced at his girlfriend before he sat.

Meanwhile, Fang Su Jin was relieved to see that her mother did not treat Zhang Yi Hai badly. It seemed that the person she should be worrying about is her father.

Suddenly, a cough was heard, coming from the stairs.

Fang Su Jin watched as her father walked down the stairs and stiffened. It was a while ago that she was still worrying about her father. Then, a few seconds later, her father did appear.

She looked at her father and noticed the stern look in his eyes.

Her palm was sweaty just thinking of what her father would try to do next.

Zhang Yi Hai stood up when he saw Father Fang. He put on smile on his face and spoke, “Hello, uncle.”

“Mmm...” Father Fang nodded. He gave Zhang Yi Hai a lookover and narrowed his eyes.

Fang Su Jin was watching her father anxiously.

Usually, her father would welcome Zhang Yi Hai and ask him to spend time with him to chat. Seeing that her father was keeping his silence made Fang Su Jin worry.

Mother Fang glanced at her husband and heaved helplessly. She was also worrying about her husband’s reaction toward Zhang Yi Hai.

Seeing that her husband was not saying anything, Mother Fang took the initiative to chat with Zhang Yi Hai. “Auntie had prepared a few dishes. Wait for a bit. Later, we can all eat together.”

Zhang Yi Hai nodded. He took the paper bag that he brought with him and handed it over to Mother Fang .”Auntie, this is a little present from me. It’s not anything much.”

Mother Fang took the bag and peeked at the contents.

There were a few health products. Then, Zhang Yi Hai also bought Mother Fang a stylish scarf and a brooch.

Mother Fang looked at his gifts and was immediately smitten. She thanked Zhang Yi Hai for his gifts and the two of them began to chat a little bit.

For Father Fang, Zhang Yi Hai had bought him some rare tea.
