Chapter 131 Headquarters

At this stage of the game, Lei Zhen understood that it was time for him to move to a more secure place and transfer Lei Qingxuan to somewhere else.

As he continued playing, the further the risk would become when the time came that others would want to investigate him.

Currently, he might not have made a storm yet, but it had definitely attracted some attention since he became chancellor of Yors Castle.

"Are you listening here, Chancellor?" Griselda's sudden voice interrupted Lei Zhen's thought process.

He held a dazed expression as he glanced around.

"Yes?" He asked in a confused tone.

Griselda facepalmed as she had the urge to give him a smack. "Me and Tie Longkun were asking if you had found a good place to become our headquarters."

"Headquarters?"

"..."

This time, even Tie Longkun held a dumbfounded look at Lei Zhen.

"Guild leader, don't you know every guild would have its own headquarter? A headquarter is akin to a safe house for the guild members in which they can train, relax, or have a meeting." Tie Longkun explained.

"Right… a headquarters." Lei Zhen laughed awkwardly, clearly not expecting this to be a topic.

"Listen, our Zero Fear's headquarters cannot be shabby. Otherwise, others would look down at us and take us for a joke." Griselda warned. Her eyes were ice-cold, almost as if they could shoot daggers and pierce him.

Lei Zhen pondered for a moment.

He didn't know that a guild needed a headquarter from the beginning. This was all new information for him, and now he was left in a predicament.

How was he supposed to afford a headquarter?

It would probably be expensive as hell to maintain a headquarters.

Seeing the silence from Lei Zhen, Griselda was sure that he didn't prepare anything at all and was trying to come up with a solution on the spot.

'Seriously, is this your first time playing a virtual reality game?' She wondered silently.

Feeling annoyed by the lack of response from him, Griselda tapped on the table and said, "If you want a headquarter, then I suggest setting one up here."

"Set in Yors Castle?"

"Mhmm, I would have suggested the City of Egroth, but you should know why I voted that off." She said, giving him a slight nudge on the arm.

Lei Zhen nodded his head in understanding. The City of Egroth would indeed be nice, but it was a tier 1 and level 70 minimum requirement entry.

At his current pathetic level, he wouldn't even be qualified to step foot there.

In addition, he already made an achievement beyond the norms a player could possibly achieve in Yors Castle.

Hence, making Yors Castle his main headquarters would be the correct choice which was all pros and zero cons.

"Does Tie Longkun have an opinion regarding this then?" Lei Zhen asked him, thinking that it would be rude to not include his opinion in such a large decision.

Tie Longkun paused his eating for a second before shaking his head.

"Whatever Goddess Griselda says, then that'll be it. I'm just glad to be a member of Zero Fear and have someone accept me." He said in a muffled tone, most likely because of the food that was still in his mouth.

"Since Tie Longkun has no opinions either, then just decide on a place you want, Griselda." Lei Zhen said.

"I have to decide?" Griselda asked in a slightly shocked tone. "Wouldn't you want to control and decide where to establish the headquarters?"

"You're the Vice Leader, and it would be weird if I don't trust your decision, right?" Lei Zhen asked in a sarcastic tone.

If he was so worried about her choice, then he wouldn't have even appointed her as the Vice Leader from the get-go.

As the saying goes, don't use people you don't trust.

However, if you use them, then make sure you put your full trust in them until they lose it.

"Alright then," Griselda said. Since he entrusted her with the task, then she would give it her all.

"Tie Longkun, stop eating. Let's leave now and check the site to see which one is suitable." She then said, directly dragging the pitiful Tie Longkun away who clearly wanted more bites of the food.

Lei Zhen felt like laughing when he saw how she dragged him away, reminding him of the time she forcefully dragged him to meet with Priest Tauren.

And speaking of Priest Tauren, Lei Zhen snapped his finger to echo for Howard.

"Yes, Chancellor?"

"The things that I have assigned previously. Did you have any information?"

Howard paused for a second as he glanced at the surroundings.

Afterward, he went closer to Lei Zhen's ear and whispered, "Our scouts have reported where Priest Tauren went during this time before he returned back."

"Anything else that is suspicious?' Lei Zhen asked.

"We did notice a bit of abnormality when Priest Tauren went to a bar three times a week. It was weird for a priest to go to a bar."

"A bar huh…" Lei Zhen mumbled, trying to recall something.

'Right, Albert Freedman was disguised as a bartender. Seems like he had sneakily made his way to Yors Castle undetected and was sharing information with him.' He thought.

Although things might have become problematic now that the two of them had secretly met, Lei Zhen didn't have the time to pay attention to them yet.

Currently, apprehending the black mage was the main priority and he doesn't know how long the black mage would stay in the swamp.

"Howard, have someone monitor the bar, especially the bartender who goes by the name Albert Freedman." Lei Zhen ordered.

pαndα`noνɐ1--сoМ And to be more precise, he even gave him the description of what Albert Freedman looks like just in case he used an alias.

Howard nodded his head. "I would tell the people working there about it."

"Good, now let's head to the army camp. I'll need to look for adequate soldiers for my expedition." Lei Zhen said, standing up as he prepared the necessary ammo to fight the black mage.
