A few days had passed by since Lei Zhen successfully snatched one of Lei Quan's cars, and it was the day of the opening theater that Jessica had invited him in.
And as if he was going to forget it, his phone had started vibrating constantly with Jessica reminding him every 30 minutes or so about the day.
pαndα`noνɐ1--сoМ Lei Zhen was prepping up the tuxedo look that Butler Gongshun Ren had given him as he glanced at the mirror, feeling exhausted by Jessica's constant reminder.
"How is she able to keep reminding me every 30 minutes when she should have been quite busy now?" Lei Zhen twitched his mouth when he glanced at the text messages.
Turning his phone on silent mode instead, Lei Zhen was finally able to take a breather from her reminder and continued to make himself look good. He was sure Doctor Samantha would dress up nicely, so he needed to match up to her caliber.
Of course, he didn't have any fantasy thoughts about her and merely wanted to respect her properly.
"Ugh, if only I had Butler Gongshun Ren teach me how to wear a tie properly, then I wouldn't have struggled for so long and needed to watch a video on how to put on a tie." Lei Zhen complained slightly as he finally managed to get the tie around his neck.
He was looking extremely stylish, completely different from his usual appearance which was more of a commoner appearance and attire.
Checking the time on his phone, Lei Zhen texted Doctor Samantha that he would be at her house in around 20 minutes or so. She had given him her address when asked for it since he promised to pick her up.
It was definitely not an excuse to get her house address.
Sometime later, Lei Zhen headed out of his apartment, and under the envious eyes of many people, he calmly entered his vehicle.
The vehicle was of the latest version, equipped with the latest defensive system so it was impossible to steal unless you got the owner or someone that had the same authority to give it to someone else.
Hence, Lei Zhen was not a bit worried about having his car parked in the open. Not to mention, there are surveillance cameras equipped on the vehicle itself, capturing every nook and cranny.
If someone actually tried to rob him in the open when he was going to enter the vehicle, then the vehicle would alter its appearance and shoot tranquilizer darts at the intruders.
One could say it had the same function as those robots disguised as cars in movies.
Lei Zhen sat in the driver's seat, smiling at the painful expression Lei Quan generated in his mind. Every time he imagined the pain of Lei Quan, he would always feel great and wished that Lei Quan would suffer more.
'Just wait, Uncle Lei Quan. I might not be a woman, but my pettiness sure is on par with them.' Lei Zhen sneered inwardly, starting the car up as he began to make his way toward Doctor Samantha's house.
Almost around 20 minutes later, Lei Zhen arrived at a luxurious condo owned by Doctor Samantha. The security of this place was already informed about his arrival, so Lei Zhen was able to arrive safely without much hindrance.
Normally, one needed to provide some identification if they were entering this private area and were not an owner of the condos.
However, the exception was if the security was informed beforehand of someone entering the private area with them vouching for it.
And given Doctor Samantha's amazing reputation, the security obviously had no problem with someone that she had vouched for.
Parking the car, Lei Zhen got out of the driver's seat and smiled slightly. He was sure that she had been notified of his arrival already, so he calmly walked up to the doorstep without ringing the doorbell.
Sure enough, the door automatically opened, and out came a magnificent-looking, Doctor Samantha.
She wore a gown of deep emerald green, the color of a verdant forest at dawn, that clung to her curves in all the right places.
Her accessories were simple yet elegant, a pair of diamond earrings that sparkled with every movement, and a slender bracelet that encircled her wrist like a second skin. Her makeup was subtle yet stunning, highlighting her natural beauty with just a touch of rose pink on her lips and a smoky accent around her eyes.
Lei Zhen was completely astonished at her appearance, which was different from her usual doctor's attire. And he was relieved to have dressed up quite formally, otherwise, he would have to dig a hole to crawl in and hide from her if he was to dress in his usual clothes.
As Lei Zhen remained silent, his mouth slightly open, Doctor Samantha held a confused look.
"Are you alright, Lei Zhen?" She asked in concern. "If you're not feeling well, then we can just cancel the plan for today."
"Oh no, I'm fine." Lei Zhen snapped out of his daze and laughed softly.
"I was merely stunned by your glamorous look and wondered if you had fallen from the sky." He added.
Doctor Samantha shook her head, "Your flattering skills are too outdated, Lei Zhen. No one uses it anymore."
Lei Zhen scratched his head when he got called out for his terrible flattering skills.
"Anyway, let's not talk about it, and allow me to open the door for you." He quickly shifted the topic as he walked toward his brand-new car and opened the door like a gentleman would do.
Of course, Doctor Samantha wasn't a fool to not know he was trying to avoid embarrassment. Nevertheless, she wasn't going to poke fun at him as she glanced at the car model.
A look of astonishment could be seen on her face as she stared at Lei Zhen suspiciously.
"Did you rob a bank or something? How did you manage to afford this kind of car?"
