Lei Zhen was caught off-guard when she had already figured out the reason why he was no longer interested in doing the doctor's work.
"Is there anyone in this world that could lie or hide from you?" Lei Zhen asked nervously.
She was like an omnipotent being, one that could easily figure out the crux of the problem right away. And that was without even attempting to figure it out in the first place.
It was like a snap of a finger and she already knew what the person's mind was thinking about.
Doctor Samantha curved her lips slightly and flicked Lei Zhen's forehead.
"People could easily hide or lie to me if they weren't being so crystal clear to me. You mentioned being invited to this event because you were playing Magnolia, and when you said it, your facial expression was that of having fun." She said smugly, clearly enjoying the moment of teasing him.
"Well, I guess I forgot about that part." Lei Zhen nodded his head and chuckled softly.
"You should play the game as well. It's quite addicting, and this is me speaking from experience."
"No thanks, I'll think I pass on the gaming trend for now. Too many patients I have seen lately are all talking about Magnolia this and Magnolia that. I hope you won't be the same as my patient." Doctor Samantha said, clearly showing a disinterest in the rave of Magnolia.
Lei Zhen didn't bother to persuade her further since he knew just how busy she was. If he was to continue to persuade and attempt to convince her to play Magnolia, then the world might have lost another great doctor in the hands of VRMMORPG.
"Understandable, Doctor Samantha. But I'm going to have to kindly leave the car and open the door for you because we have arrived." He then said, getting out of the driver's seat and walking toward her side.
As he opened the door, Lei Zhen made sure to extend his hand to hold hers when she came out of the car.

Meanwhile, the beautiful gown and beautiful face of Doctor Samantha captured the eyes of the reporters, who didn't expect another beautiful woman to be in the scene other than Jessica and Bella.
"Who is that woman? She looks stunning!"
"What do you mean gorgeous? She's glamorous and her aura seemed to have more of an effect than actresses Jessica and Bella."
All the reporters were astonished by the appearance of Doctor Samantha, and Lei Zhen was subsequently sidecast.
Doctor Samantha was used to being the center of any big events so she flashed a gentle smile and waved her hand around.
At the same time, she whispered softly to Lei Zhen, "Would your friends think I'm here to snatch their limelight when I'm this popular?"
"Nah, I doubt so, the limelight is always shining upon you. Hence, you can't be snatching anyone's limelight." Lei Zhen whispered back and extended his arms.
Doctor Samantha gracefully wrapped her hand around his as they walked down an imitation red carpet.
Jessica might not have exaggerated much, but the opening theater was definitely not a small scale. It was built with a grand entrance and there was even a red carpet for the VIPs to walk in and show their glamorous dress to the reporters.
As the two of them walked down the red carpet, the other people that were already conversing with reporters noticed the commotion.
"What is going on? Why are the reporters shouting even louder than my entry?" One handsome man dressed in a suit asked in confusion. He had a chiseled jawline and the look of an actor. If one was to look closely, then one would have known he was the male lead for the movie of this opening theater.
Next to him were two elderly men that had the director's look, and two familiar women, Jessica and Bella.
"It seems like Lei Zhen wasn't joking when he told me to beware of our reputation being in threat." Jessica chuckled softly when she saw numerous reporters swarming near the red carpet.
Bella nodded her head.
"Though it seems like our reputation is being overshadowed by the person he had invited. Look at that beautiful woman." Bella said, her hand pointing at Doctor Samantha, who was gracefully waving her hand and smiling at the reporters.
"Hello, are you a new actress? How come we have never seen your face before?"
"You look glamorous today. Are you making a cameo in this movie and introducing yourself soon to the entertainment industry?"
All kinds of questions were bombarding Doctor Samantha, but luckily the security guards were professional enough to prevent the reporters from approaching them directly.
"I appreciate every reporter's enthusiasm in thinking I'm an actress, but I'm merely here on invitation by a good friend of mine." Doctor Samantha smiled and replied naturally.
"Is it this man here? Seems a bit ordinary to be honest when compared to your appearance." The reporters were not one to be shy from criticizing people directly.
Lei Zhen twitched his mouth when he was being labeled as ordinary.
Were the reporters blind in their eyes or what?
He was clearly a handsome fellow, but he bet some of these male reporters are jealous of him that Doctor Samantha was locking her hand in his arm and not them.
"Although he seemed ordinary, I was invited to the VIP seating because of him. Hence, please be lenient to him and not shame him further." Doctor Samantha smiled and asked the reporters to not go overboard in a graceful manner.
And naturally, with these amazing responses and attitude, she instantly won the hearts of all the male reporters.
"Sigh, what a goddess. My life has been a lie to be blinded for this long."
"Indeed, I'm going to delete the interview footage I did with the male lead, Gordon Jack, and replace it with her."
