"Why aren't the goblins attacking, it's like they are waiting for us to strike or they are waiting for something to happen" Shin spoke and also immediately another green skin emerged from the forest.
"Is that their leader?"
"Maybe, we aren't close enough to see the goblin's HP and level, but that one is different," Max said.
"Humans..." the green skin shouted.
"They can talk!!" Alice said in surprise, the rest of the group was also surprised but it seems like only that particular goblin could talk.
The goblins were slightly shorter than them and they had pointed noses and most of them had piercings in their ears and noses. They wore clothes made from animal skin and each of them carried a weapon.
The goblin that could speak looked a lot older than the others and it held a staff and stood in front of the group.
"Why are you disturbing our peace," the old goblin said in anger.
"Disturbing your peace, you attacked the humans first and stole their food" Alex shouted back.
"We did no such thing, this forest is our home and it provides us with food, we normally don't care about humans in the forest but you dare burn our forest, you would pay for it" the goblin shouted.

"What are you pesky humans planning" the goblin shouted before speaking some words that none of them understood.
All the goblins rushed into action as the old goblin Commanded them, all of them stood steady as the goblins came running.

Max and Arthur were the first to strike, both of them had swords with them so they rushed toward the first set of goblins. Three goblins charged toward Alex and he stood still waiting for them.
Most of the goblins were with short swords only a few were with normal swords, Alex moved away from the ground and the goblins followed him.
The first goblin swung its sword toward and Alex sidestepped to the right and avoided the attack.
He quickly used his leg to kick the hand of the goblin causing the sword to fall down, but before he could go after the sword two of the goblins pounced on him.
Even though he wasn't a knight or swordsman he could tell the goblins were weak, so weak that he could use his bare hands to defeat them one on one but he wasn't going to try that.
As Arthur and Max were fighting the goblins head-on, Shin and Gabriel took the easy path, they run around creating distance before shooting.
One of Gabriel's blasts was enough to kill the goblin, but after a few blasts he was out of Mana, he quickly retrieved the club he was given by the NPC back at Vina settlement and attacked the goblin.

'Huh!' Gabriel was surprised that he couldn't deal any damage with the club he was using and he was struggling to battle just one of the goblins, soon another goblin joined and they attacked him.
Gabriel felt pain as the sharp sword grazed him, but after a second the pain went away, and he quickly jumped back to avoid another hit.
The goblins could attacked them but their one hour of protection wasn't over so their HP was still full.
He couldn't deal much damage with a weapon so he ran toward Max and Arthur.
Alex had quickly exploited the newbie's protection and defeated both of the goblins facing him, he attacked other goblins without fear because he knew he couldn't be killed.

A series of notifications rang as Alex defeated the goblins, and finally, he leveled up.

"I think that's the last of them" Max shouted.
"Only their commander left, who gets to kill him," Arthur said.

"I don't think we can kill this old dude, his HP is off the charts," Alex spoke.
"You bastards, you won't get away with this, all of you are going to die here, Razan..." the old goblin shouted.
"What is he saying, guys I'm taking the shot," Shin said as he put a rock bullet in his slingshot.
The goblin turn around to run but Shin was faster, the rock bullet hit the old goblin on his head causing him to fall to the ground.
"He a weakling, and he's level 10, we should let an opportunity like this pass," Arthur said and ran towards the goblin.
Max joined him as both of them were good in close combat, the rest of the group was breathing heavily after the battle so they sat down to rest.

Alex walked around and collected the swords of the dead goblins, Alice, Gabriel, and Shin did the same.
"I killed it, I'm finally level 5" Max shouted.
"You stole the kill" Arthur grabbed his collar.
"Hey, I didn't steal your kill, we both attacked it and I got lucky" Max sneered.
"Pffff..." Arthur walked towards the group with anger visible on his face.
"Should we inform the villagers that we defeated goblins or we should just leave?" Alice asked.
"They are not paying us so we should just leave," Alex said.
"RAAWW" a loud shout echoed throughout the forest.
The group quickly looked around wondering what made the loud sound.
"We should hide somewhere, I have a bad feeling about this" Gabriel said and they all agree, but before they could take a step.
"Haaaa..." a player ran towards them shouting loud with a sword in his hand.
The ground vibrated as a huge green creature holding a huge club with sharp spikes ran after the player.
