The boy in front of him was unkept, he wore rags as clothes, but he was handsome and his hair was ridiculously long, longer than all the girls Alex had seen.

"Where am I, and who are you?" Alex asked.

"You are inside your mind, and I'm the sixth Elder God," the boy said with a smile on his face.

"What are you saying, we are inside my mind and you are what, what rubbish are you saying" Alex hissed.

"We aren't really in your mind, this is just a trance, I brought you here because I wanted to speak to you, it seems you are my avatar" the boy spoke.

"Look here, I don't understand a word you are saying, so I'm just going to look for an exit" Alex spoke.

"Have you been visited by the other Elder Gods, huge figures wearing all black clothing and speaking in a frightening manner"

"What!! how did you know, wait are you one of them?" Alex asked in shock.

"Not anymore, but now you see why I'm here"

"I don't...I thought I was just dreaming then, I was told some weird stuff and that I have to die for the sake of peace," Alex said.





"So they are going to kill you too" the boy sighed and stood up.

"W-Wait wait hold up...what do you mean by they are going to kill me too?" Alex chuckled weirdly.

"Sit down, so I can explain what is going on and why they want you dead" the boy spoke and sat down.

"I don't know if you are joking or telling the truth, but I'm really in a trance, isn't this part of Nova Online?" Alex asked.

"No, didn't you remember seeing a mark on your chest in the bathroom then you passed out on the floor naked in your apartment" the boy laughed as he spoke.

"Huh! you are right, I felt lightheaded and passed out, then what I'm I doing here?" Alex asked.

"I told you I wanted to speak with you, that's why I brought you here, first sit down"

"So you brought me here, then you can send me back right?" Alex asked.

"Humans, humans... always the same" the boy mumbled before Alex finally sat down.

"Where should I start?" the boy asked.

"Start from the mark, I had a mark in the game then it appeared in real life, and the gods too, just everything, why is this happening to me"

"First Nova Online isn't a game, it's a preparation for the future, that's all I can say for now, we'll meet in the future so I'll tell you more about the game then"



"Wait...if Nova Online isn't a game, it's a preparation for what, what is in the future?" Alex asked.

"We'll talk about that later, then we should discuss the mark, apart from you five other players in the game have the same mark"

"So all the avatars would be killed, isn't that cruel?" Alex shouted.

"No, you are the only own that would be killed," the boy said.

"Huh! wait I don't understand, out of six avatars, only me would be killed, I thought what the Gods said was rubbish, wait why am I talking about Gods, they are not real," Alex said and stood up.

"They are not real right?" Alex asked the boy in front of him.

"They are real and you need to calm down"

"So I'm going to die!! is that what you are saying, I'm going to die, like die in real life is that what you are saying!!" Alex shouted angrily.

*Boom*

The cave began to vibrate furiously, Alex couldn't stand still as the ground also vibrated, it looks like the cave was about to bury them in.

"What's happening?" Alex asked as he fell down.

"You caused it, I told you to calm down, if you calm down it would stop," the boy said.

"Okay, okay... I'm calm" Alex said as he took a deep breath.

"Good, see it's stopping"

Alex looked around as the cave returned back to its normal state, the vibration stopped making Alex wonder what was happening, since he came here anything he saw and heard didn't make any sense.

"Are you okay now?"

"No not really, I was just informed that I'm going to die so I can't be okay," Alex said.

"Technically I didn't inform and I'm not trying to kill you, the other Gods are, I'm just trying to save you," the boy said.

"Yes, that's right, I'm your avatar right, you can talk to them and tell them that I'm not trying to destroy the world or anything like that," Alex said with urgency.

"I can't do that anymore," the boy said.

"You can't, but you are also part of the Gods right, you said it yourself" Alex shouted and the cave rumbled a little.

"I was part of them, not anymore, that's why I'm trying to explain but you wouldn't let me talk"

"The Elder Gods watch over humans, that was their job but they couldn't interfere with human activities or come down to save humans so in any era where a great battle is bound to take place, the Gods usually choose six warriors to stop it"

"So all the Gods choose warriors to stop the battle, okay I'll just pretend I'm in a fantasy world" Alex mumbled the last part.

"We were not supposed to interfere with humans or we would lose our powers"

"So the Gods locked you up okay that's understandable, then how were you able to choose me as your avatar"

"That's the problem, I didn't choose you, you just happened to have the mark, same as others, most of them were killed off, others were damaged"

"What!! why would the Gods do such a thing"

"Because they didn't select the warrior, they just assumed I did and they assumed I would manipulate the warrior to destroy all humanity like I wanted to"

"But you don't want to destroy them anymore right?"

"I've been locked for thousands of years, what do you think" the boy asked.

"Well since you are talking to me like this, I would say you had a change of heart" Alex said.

"Yeah I did because after I killed that first human, I could even move, I was...I can't even describe the feeling"

"I've always wondered what thugs and mafias thought when they kill other people, I don't think I can do that" Alex said.

"Well...back to the important stuff,I don't want you to die, you are really special so it would be a waste if humanity lost you" the boy said.

"What are you talking about, you speak like humans are going to suffer if I'm going"

"I usually can't speak to my other avatar like this, I can see them though but we can't communicate like this, I wonder how it was possible for you"

"So what are we going to do, I really don't want to die, I still have a lot to do, like a lot" Alex said.

"That wouldn't matter if the world is destroyed?"
