Chapter 102 102 Quinn's Family

Alex took a deep breath as he looked around, he had been away for over a year now, and Winterville hasn't changed much since when he left, it was still snowing.

Winterville had no climate changes, it snowed all year round, maybe that was why it was called Winterville. The beautiful scenery of Northfrost was pleasing to Alex's eyes, he grew up in this city so it was great to be back.

Alex took out his phone as he waited for a taxi, he had several missed calls and text messages.

"Gabriel, Gabriel, Gabriel, oh mum" Alex mumbled as he scrolled through.

"When you arrive come to this address" Alex read the message from his mother, and saw the address of where he should go first.

"Did all of them take a vacation or what" Alex muttered, he knew the address he was sent wasn't their house.

"Taxi..." Alex shouted and the car came to a stop, he quickly entered the taxi and told the driver his location.

The car ride was smooth and Alex almost fell asleep but before he did the car came to a stop.

"We are here" the driver spoke.

"Thanks," Alex said as he brought out his card and paid the man for the ride.

"Is this the address?" Alex wondered as he stood in front of a large gate.

This was one of the many estates in Northfrost, Alex walked towards the gate and it automatically opened making Alex smile.

There were a total of five houses inside the large compound he walked into, Alex was looking at one of the houses while the other four were to his left and right.

White snow covered the ground and bushes surrounded each house like a garden, but they were all covered in snow giving it a more beautiful look.

Alex took out his phone but before he could dial any of the numbers he heard his name, Alex looked forward and saw both of his sisters running towards him.

His youngest sister was currently 13 years old while his second sister was 17 years old, both of them had white hair and took after their mum in beauty, while Alex had dark hair like his dad but luckily he also took after his mum's in terms of looks.

His youngest sister Ariana had short white hair that was tied in a bun, she had blue eyes and a beautiful face.

His other sister Alisha, who was 17 years old had long white hair, delicate-looking eyebrows, and smooth-looking skin. Her body was petite aside from her decent-sized breasts which Alex didn't notice beneath her sweater.

Alex walked towards them with a smile, Ariana jumped on him as soon as they reached where he was, while Alisha stopped and stared at him.

"Hello..." Alex said playfully.

"I missed you" Ariana shouted.

"I missed you too," Alex said as he looked at Alisha.

"Alisha, is something wrong?" Alex asked, immediately his sister leaned in and punched him.

"Ouch...when did you get this powerful" Alex groaned.



"How can you not visit for a year, you think I'll miss you, pfff..." she said as she dragged his bag from his hands and took it inside.

"I love you too," Alex said with a smile.

Alex's family was a middle-class family but he knew they couldn't afford to live in a house as big as this, except his dad got a new job or was promoted at his current underpaid job.

Alex opened the front door and walked in, the interior of the house was more beautiful than he imagined.

The floor and walls were a handsome light brown.

The furnitures all looked brand new, along with the painting on the walls, there was a simple staircase to the second floor close to the entrance.

"Hi mum," Alex said as he walked in.

"Alex... welcome home" an attractive, white-haired, middle-aged woman rushed towards him and hugged him.

Alex looked around the house and he was amazed at how beautiful the house was.

"Your dad got an amazing new job" Alex's mum spoke as she saw Alex looking around.

"Wow, this is really great, is dad around?" Alex asked.

"No, he's at work, tell your sisters to show you around, I'm cooking," Alex's mum said as she went to the kitchen.

Alisha already took Alex's bag upstairs to his room, while Ariana wanted to show him around.

After looking around, both of them climbed up the stairs to the second floor, a total of five rooms were on the second floor and his sister took him to the last room.

Alex smiled as he entered the room, a medium-sized bed was placed in the middle of the room close to the wall and Alisha was already on top of the bed.

On the left side of the room, a wardrobe was placed close to the wall, along with a table and a chair. On the right side of the room was his own bathroom, containing a bathtub, shower, sink, and a toilet.

"Do you like it?" Ariana asked.

"Of course I like it, when did you guys move in here?" Alex asked.

"Not long, dad got his new job when you left for school last year, we moved in here two months ago" Alisha spoke still on the bed.

"What are you doing on my bed, and when did you get so tall?" Alex asked.

"Are you shocked, you used to tease me a lot about my height, luckily I got taller" Alisha smirked.

"And she got a boyfriend" Ariana spoke.

"W-What!! what are you saying Ariana, I don't have a boyfriend, we are just friends" Alisha spoke almost immediately.

"That's none of my business, but I'm still going to tell mum," Alex said as he sat on the chair.

"What...you can't do that to me, please" Alisha begged.

"So you really have a boyfriend, well you are 17 so it's okay, but..." Alex paused.

"But what?" Alisha asked.

"I must personally assess your boyfriend to see if he is worthy of dating my sister," Alex said with a smile.

"Phew... don't worry, you would like him, he's very intelligent and cute," Alisha said with a smile.

"But mum already knows you have a boyfriend, she saw you two a while ago," Ariana said.

"She doesn't, even though she saw us walking, she would probably think he's just my friend," Alisha said.

"No she knows he's your boyfriend, she asked me," Ariana said.

"She asked you and you just told her, what happened to our sisterly bond," Alisha said.

"I didn't tell her at first, but then she offered me a cupcake, and then I told her"

"Hahaha, you know Ariana can't resist cupcakes, I brought some for you," Alex said.

"You did, yes..." Ariana shouted as she rushed towards Alex's bag.

"So how's school and why didn't you visit all this while?" Alisha asked.

"You sound like a detective interrogating a criminal"

"Alex, this is the game we've been seeing on TV" Ariana shouted as she brought out Alex's Nova Online helmet.

"Huh! how did you buy that, it's pretty expensive here, and it would surely be more expensive in Woodpine" Alisha said.

"It's none of your business"

"Cupcakes..." Ariana shouted.

"Can I test it on?" Alisha asked.

"You can't use it, it uses face recognition so it won't work" Alex said.

"Dinner..." a voice shouted.

"That's mum, dinner is ready, we should go...and Ariana eat the cake later" Alisha said as she stood up.

"Seems like you got a little bossy because I'm not around" Alex laughed as he followed them out.

Dinner had bee arranged by Alex's mum at the dinning table, a large pot was placed at the center of the table and plates were around the table.

Each of them took a seat at one of the chairs and sat down to eat, dinner was silent because of a rule Alex's mum put in place, they were not allowed to talk while eating which made dinner as quick at possible.

"So Alex how is school?" Alex's mum asked after they finished eating. Ariana and Alisha were busy cleaning up the table.





"It's fine,and Gabriel ask me to say hi to you and you guys too" Alex said to his sisters.

"He didn't visit?"

"No, and he's pretty broke, after spending his money to buy a game" Alex said.

"But you also bought the game" Alisha said, immediately she took and the last plate on the table and dashed towards the kitchen.
