Immediately more cages were opened and horned wolves, boars, and normal wolves stepped into the arena but one of the cages was left locked.
The players immediately knew they had to take this seriously, some of them who had 8 or 7 Kills were grinning ear to ear because they only had little work to do.
"We have a problem" a woman whispered in the ears of the commentator.
After turning off his magically enhanced voice he asked, "What's the problem?"
"In the cages, all the horned wolves are dead, they were eaten" the woman spoke.
"Cannibalism...so what's the problem, that's normal for beasts when they are trapped together"
"Evolution, the beast had passed its threshold and evolved"
"Huh!! Evolved...then tell them to release it, let's give the audience a trill" the man said with a sly smile.
Immediately he turned his enhanced voice again, "Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, the star of the show" the man shouted as the cage was opened.
A loud growl vibrated around the arena as the last cage was opened, the beasts released earlier were still circling the players, but as soon as the evolved wolf stepped in all the other beasts immediately sensed its presence and moved backward.
The crowd cheering was louder than ever as the large horned wolf stepped in, all the players couldn't help but stare in awe as the wolf towered over them.

The wolf was 5 times larger than any wolf Alex had ever seen and it had a horn on its head, all the players looked at the wolf's stats in disbelief.
None of the beasts had skills or affinities, this one was evolved, and even though it has no affinity the players knew nothing about its skill, Evolving beasts were not supposed to be in this continent but somehow this happened.
Alex held both of his daggers tightly as he stared at the large beast, instead of killing other smaller animals to complete his task of 10 kills, he waited but now this happened.
"If we don't kill this beast, I don't think we'll have any chance of winning," one of them said.
"That's because you didn't kill those cheap kills first, I have 8 kills already so after the beast launches his attack, I'm going for the boars"
"RAAAAW..." The beast roared as it charged forward.
The players who were in the middle of the arena split into two parts and ran towards both sides of the arena, normal wolves and Horned wolves were around the arena but they had to get away from the beast.
The wolf seeing that the players were running quickly changed his direction and charged toward the players who ran to the right.
"Yes, he went towards them..."
"Time to complete my kills and get the hell out of here..."
"Boars and wolves are bonus points"
The players who ran to the left side of the arena grinned as the beast didn't attack them, this was their chance to complete their kills and leave the arena.
"Shit he's coming towards us"
"Let's attack or we're all going to die"
"Attack...aim for the eyes first"
The players to the right quickly faced the beast planning to attack at once, the other smaller beast ran away as the evolved wolf ran towards the players. Among the players, Alex stood there with his daggers.
The assassin class was good but it wasn't ideal, Alex looked at the wolf and knew he was powerless against a beast like this, if he was alone then he would definitely be killed.
The assassin class was more suited to killing NPCs and other players instead of beasts, unlike the knights or swordsmen, the assassin didn't have a skill related to handing swords and two daggers were all Alex had.
Even though he miraculously get close to the beast, two daggers weren't going to be lethal enough to cause permanent damage except if he went for the eyes which was equal to committing suicide.
Alex stood in front of the beast and discovered he was powerless against a such foe.
The wolf stopped a few meters away from the players and growl loudly, its eyes scanned all the players in front of him, and the players all held their weapons as the shooters among them aimed at the wolf.
The wolf raised one of his hands and with a loud roar, it waved it toward the players.
The wolf wasn't close to them so his hands didn't actually touch any of them, so they thought the wolf was just testing.
'Why did it wave its hands in the air, I don't think that...wait does the skill swipe have something to do with this' Alex thought, and immediately he held his ground.
*Boom*
An invisible shockwave hit all the players and sent them flying without actually touching them, roars erupted in the crowd as they watched the beast, their eyes had been drawn away from the other group of players currently killing the smaller beasts.
The wolf growled loudly planning to charge and finish off the players on the ground, but something caught the wolf's eyes.
Two players were still standing after the shockwave earlier, Alex stood with his daggers while the player directly behind him breathe heavily, for some reason the wave stopped when it got to them.

These three notifications popped up in front of Alex once again like they did when he was fighting the skeleton mage.
'So that's the wolf's skill...an annoying skill to have' Alex mumbled.
"You at my back are you okay?" Alex asked.
"Yes, how were you able to withstand that?"
"I don't know but hold me next time and try to push forward," Alex said.
"Ouch..."
"What the heck happened"
"What was that"
The players who were blown away by the shockwave quickly regained their composure but two were unconscious, they were too close to the wall and ended up hitting their heads.
"What an attack!!! but miraculously two players didn't get blown away...and on the other side of the arena the other players are struggling and another player has passed the first stage bringing the tally up to 20..." the man's voice reached all the arena.
"20 people had passed over there already passed damn...why isn't the wolf attacking, he's staring at me, okay I'm officially dead" Alex held his daggers tightly and got ready to run just in case.
"RWAAAAA..." The wolf roared again and this time it swung its hands twice.
"To the walls..." one of the players shouted and the other players obeyed without thinking twice, they were already close to the wall so they place their backs on the wall as they waited.
Alex also braced himself and the player behind him held still holding onto Alex.

Alex held still as the notification popped up in front of him, immediately after the wave was absorbed Alex jacked off the hand of the player behind him and jumped away.
"Why are you..." the player's head was sent flying with a powerful swipe from the wolf and the body fell to the ground.
Alex watched the scene in front of him, one attack from the wolf was enough for a player but something else rang in Alex's brain, the wolf was now close.
Without thinking about it, Alex stood up and charged toward the wolf who was just inches away from him, the wolf saw only one body and looked to his left and Alex was already too close.
"Fire..."
Arrows, bullets, spells, and rock bullets were fired at the wolf, and the wolf diverted its attention from Alex to the other players, with a big swing all the projectiles returned back to the players, the arrows, bullets, and spells were sent flying.

Alex sunk two of his daggers deep into the flesh of the wolf causing it to leap forward immediately, Alex tried to withdraw both of his daggers but he only got his steel dagger leaving his demon blade in the body of the wolf.
"I thought my next attack contains triple effect of the shockwave, but nothing happened" Alex shouted.
